I skipped FC25 and instead opted to pick up Pro Evolution 2021 with an updated squads and kits USB.

The year away has done me good so looking forward to this year's installment

PGR3 on Xbox 360 was absolute fire

I still remember the "Her magistys pleasure" track around London like the back of my hand

Shame, I was hoping Motorsport would eventually get ported along with Forza Horizon. (although I suppose technically it still could)

Don't get me wrong I love Gran Turismo but you can never have too many good Racing games

I was only thinking about this last night, I downloaded it when it was first available and as a big Liverpool fan it's still my Avatar to this day.

I never met him but it really has broken me, still doesn't feel real to be honest

If there's one thing I learned from getting a day one PS5, it's that there's no rush whatsoever to buy a PS6.

PS5 is coming up to 5 years old and in many cases we're still seeing games released as cross gen on the PS4 (although admittedly it is finally starting to get better)

It's basically a service that I'll continually moan about being too expensive and complain about the poor quality of games each month but then I'll still renew it every year for fear of missing out on something

I haven't received any discount code, but even if I suddenly do I think I have everything I need for now anyway

Looks like another Month of Nintendo Switch 2 gaming coming up for me.

Not a bad month per say, just nothing of interest to me.

I lost interest in Diablo 4: as soon as the letters RPG appeared (I hate RPG games)

I'll probably add King of Fighters to my library but won't be in any particular rush to download it and fire it up

I did own the original PSVR but playing it made me feel so ill with most games that I ended up selling it whilst it was still worth something.

That experience obviously put me off the PSVR2 headset but then when they announced the ridiculously high price, any small slither of interest I did have in it ended right there.

With the benefit of hindsight it seems I dodged a bullet and even now a good few years after it released there's probably no more than 2 - 3 games available that might tickle my interest

I'm the same, I'll almost certainly be picking up Tony Hawks Pro skater 3+4 and FC26 on my Switch 2

Previously I'd have bought them on PS5 without giving it a 2nd thought

In my house they're not rivals..... more companions

I picked this up when it first released.

I'd never played the original so maybe it's because I don't have any nostalgic ties to it but for whatever reason I just can't get into it.

Strange as I do love a good Kart Racer

I normally try to be positive over the monthly games but even I'm struggling to find something positive to say about this particular section.

Fortunately though I'm having too much fun with my Nintendo switch 2 to really care about it

It's definitely the best way getting to pick it up yourself.

I'm in work on Thursday anyway but there is nothing worse than waiting in all day for a delivery.

I did it with the OG Switch and the PS5..... Both times I'd taken the day off and they didn't get delivered till gone 3pm and by that time the day is gone

Can't believe Forza is on there already... I knew I should have waited.

I am tempted by Croc, but then it does strike me as the type of game that will end up on PS Plus (either essential or extra) somewhere down the line. Seeing as I'll be in possession of a Nintendo Switch 2 this time next week I'll probably leave it for now

I read your reply last night and I've done a little bit of research this morning checking various websites for all games given away on PS plus in the last 12 months and EA Sports FC25 100% definitely isn't on any lists. FC24 was the most recent one, that was one of the free games in May last year.

I'm not disputing that you some how have it on your console lol, but however it got there it can't be from the PS Plus Essential games

I apologise as I honestly don't mean to sound patronising or anything but are you sure it's not a demo or a free trial that you downloaded which has maybe expired?

For my money ,the best time to buy one was back on 19th November 2020 when it was only £450 (for the disc version as well I might add)

The only one I'd have any interest in is GTA3 but I already own the definitive collection

I would have preferred EA Sports FC25 over NBA 2K25 but either way hard to argue that it's not a solid month of "Free" games

I think for me it depends on the game.... if it's a game I'll play over and over again Mario Kart being a good example then I don't mind paying the higher price for it.

If it's a one and done game then I find it a little harder to justify spending so much

The ratios of ins and outs aren't great in this case......

However...... Obviously I can't speak for everyone.....but I only tend to have 1 (maybe 2) games on the go at anyone time. So losing a big chunk of games I'm not playing anyway isn't such a big deal to me

Whilst admittedly it not a good thing, at the end of the day there are more important things to worry about

I'm not defending Sony.... I'm just putting things into perspective

We're a fickle Bunch.... I guarantee if they'd offered up something like Destruction Derby (or insert your favourite PS1 game here) this month we'd all be creaming our pants saying how good the service is lol

My point being for the cost which lets be honest is next to nothing it can all change very quickly and all it takes is one big name game to change everyone's perspective

I bought Premium when it was on sale and it didn't really cost me much me than the standard Essential price.... for a couple of £££ extra a year I feel it's still worth it

Obviously if you've paid full price that's a different discussion

Probably won't play a single one of them if I'm honest.

Not too bothered though as from 9th June it'll be all about Mario Kart World for the foreseeable future

I have quite a selection of PS1 games up in my loft.... it would be amazing if Sony found a way to update the PS5 so I can pop the discs in and play them.

Admittedly if I really wanted to I can set my PS3 up and play them on there but it would be nice to do it on my PS5 for the sake of convenience if nothing else

It was my only regret when I sold my Xbox that I couldn't play it anymore and now thankfully I can again

I was always pretty much 100% physical, but over the last few years after playing most of my games via subscription services such as PS plus premium and Game Pass (when I had an Xbox), the convenience of simply having a game downloaded to your console and not having to get up and change discs has definitely converted me into the digital world. At least 70/30 in favour of digital anyway.

I'll be picking up a Nintendo Switch 2 ina few weeks time and for the first time ever I plan to go fully digital

I'm considering getting a 2nd PS5 to use exclusively for this game

I've decided to buy the remaster of the remastered version on my PS7 instead

I tried to convince myself that I was going to wait for a sale because I'd already played it (and loved it) when I had a Series X but I ended up caving in and bought it on Friday night
