@Bdbrady this is NOT backwards compatibility. This is a remaster. Developers had to do a lot of work to change assets out and engine work to take advantage of the ps5. Not the same thing at all.

I happen to agree with your analysis that this could very well be to manipulate the market ahead of stocks purchasing before a logical jump up in their shares after the ps5 event.

To the people worried about the Ps5’s reliability from the false report; you shouldn’t be any more worried than any other new tech purchase (a small amount of risk is always there with brand new tech), but I’m confident enough to not worry about it at all. My day one ps4 is still going strong 😉

It’s making a big deal out of nothing. I’d be much more concerned with MS not having faith enough in their newer systems to show anything running on it other than the BC demo they showed.

PS5 digital is going to be 349.99 full blown PS5 449.99.

That’s my prediction. 50$ more for the digital version and much more powerful would absolutely negate the series s entirely, and 50$ less for disc version would ensure their domination for another entire gen.

Yes they’d be taking a slight loss of the disc version and a big loss on the digital, but they would make that back before too long.

I don’t see the issue honestly. In a strange way as Sammy pointed out it makes it more real.

On a side note I hadn’t realized the game looked so good, I’ll have to pick this up when it’s on sale on psn.

@Tasuki actually that’s complete bull crap. The ps3 released like 15 months after the Xbox 360 and outsold it. Meaning it sold more units (Millions) in over a year less. Don’t get me wrong, it was much closer than the current gen but Sony has never been beaten by MS.

Edit: also, you comment about the launch being the only reason is absolutely wrong. They’ve had gamepass and the most powerful console for a while now and neither has helped them to increase their market share much.

@theMEGAniggle when you have as many games releasing as there are on PS4 some will not be showcased front and center. There are just too many to do that to. The most popular do and should be given prominent position as they’re more likely to be looked for.
