I hope they announce a TV out cable for the mystery port on the Vita Legacy System.

I refuse to buy a Vita TV for Video out to a TV when I have a strange feeling that they mystery port on the Vita does this and would support all of the games & not just a subset of them.

That & allow the Vita to be a multiuser system like the PS3 & PS4 (why get a Vita TV for just one profile?)

To bad it wasn't a picture of the collection with that tagine "Greatness awaits" after finding out all they removed from the PS3 counterpart.

Can we at least get the cable for the Mystery port?

Sony, also needs to change their removal message as it is FALSE and you can't redownload it again.

People also need to remember that this is not the first time on the Playstation network that in the digital era that something is being removed forever without a way to back it up.

REMEMBER: Playstation Mobile will fully go dark on September 10th and the ability to re-download purchased content is also getting removed. (Apparently these take up too much server space or cost too much to maintain a server).

At least we got a blog post about their removal and have the PC Content Manager app that should let us backup (I don't know what happens if you replace your Vita/Vita TV however).

Does Kojima get a portion of the sales or is his team paid upfront for making the game?
If he gets a portion I say Day 1 sales show support.
If he got paid upfront everyone should wait for a sale so we can voice our opinion to Konami.

I think eLarkos is saying that if consumers wake up and stop buying this type of system that publishers will be forced to either change or go out of business.

Who saves proof of purchase before June 2012 for all these years? Couldn't they see who has a serial registered (I guess however that would be for when it was manufactured not purchased).

Doesn't the receipt say who sold the game and what store it came from?

At least people could avoid the store in question or the employee.

It would also have been something if we found out the copy of Battlefield Hardline had Disc 1 of Christmas Pan Pipes as this one had Disc 2.

I wonder if the same employee sold both people the games in question.

I was trying to go all Digital for reason's like Sammy said.
However, after reading about what Sony is already doing with PlayStation Mobile it just became scary. I know that a Blu-Ray can get scratched, lost, or broken (one of the reasons I like going Digital) but it can't get erased like the storage on the Vita (Flash Memory) or PS4 & PS3 (Hard Drive).

With Mobile not being able to be re-downloaded made me think.
What if my Vita breaks or my Expensive Memory Card?

Sure, there is the PC Content Manager to backup to but what if my Vita breaks and I get a replacement?

It won't be verified to play my games (Unless Sony starts being like Nintendo and you have to send in your old and new hardware to transfer your games). But, what would a person do if Sony went out of business?

I understand the need for Digital Media Rights to protect your content Sony, what about a Digital Consumers Rights to backup your purchased goods?

I guess with the new firmware we could save a backup to an external hard drive on the PS4 (Can a PS3 do the same). Same thing with the Vita and PS3 or PC Content Manager.

However, like I said the console replacement may not be verified to play the backup like with the Vita and mobile games argument.

Also looking at these activation instructions for be able to play the content in perpetuity it looks like if your Vita dies after September 10th 2015 you will loose this content as you can't activate a device after that date.

I don't know if these Games work on a Vita TV but same thing applies.
The Content Manager Assistant will only work then for your originally activated devices unless there is some way support can manually activate a replacement device.

I hope they have something better for the PS4 & PS3 if Sony ever decides to close the PSN (After all we can't just back up our hard drive can we?)

You'll then be able to play the content in perpetuity – well, as long as your memory card remains intact.

I know that memory card will not work forever especially with constantly deleting and removing apps for PS+ updates and sales.

Can we back up the mobile games from the Vita to the PC using the Content Manager Assistant and then after September 10, 2015 transfer them back and will they still be authenticated?

Physical still has better incentives than digital.

I bought the PS4 because I already had a Vita and PS3 and Playstation Plus.

Another deciding factor was for remote play with the Vita.

That and I thought the Vita would work like the Wii U Gamepad.

After all on the PS3 Guacamelee had a Second Screen feature where you could see the map.

I also thought that with remote play that you could get rid of split screen multi-player. I was thinking 1st player on the TV and the 2nd player on the Vita.

Instead the Vita ended up as a extra controller until I bought more and remote play that I rarely ever use.

However, I still don't understand why they have not released the Android Remote Play App for all phones and Market it to sell more PS4's.

After being saturated with Skylanders (some of them in more than four variants) & Disney Infinity I am through with these cash grabs and they take up too much space.

Same reason I prefer digital vs disc (takes up less space and ease of use)

I was wishing that it would have been a multi-user environment like the PS3 & PS4 instead of a single user environment like the Vita.

Everyone shares the same user so shares games saves and trophies.

As others have also said another drawback is they stuck with the expensive proprietary Vita Memory Cards.

They should have just released a video out cable for Vita's 1.0 mystery port or a screen mirror option for the PS3 or PS4 so we can play on the big screen.

Without the touchscreen and rear touchpad you lose a lot of innovative gameplay.

How can Evolution Studios be aiming to launch the free PlayStation Plus version as quickly as possible if it is working on DLC?

I agree with rastamadeus that they are using most of their time on the DLC.

This would also seem to be a incentive for more purchases for those who have been on the fence. (Hurry up and order if you want November’s planned premium add-on packs for free) is what I got from this.

I already have both games.

If I could gift the copies I already purchased I would be happy. (even to a subaccount)

Also it would be nice if you already own the game if you could get some DLC instead or gift your existing copy. Example: Escape Plan & Steam World this Month

What I am learning is to just not buy anything Digitally as you can't regift like a retail copy (Example: Injustice) and wait for a Flash Sale.

Also pre-order Digital bonuses are a slap in the face.

Look at retail LittleBigPlanet 3 it comes with more if you get a retailer copy vs digital.

The new Naruto PS3 game had day one DLC & bonuses for a Retail copy and nothing for a Digital copy (not even a option to pre-order it Digitally)

If Playstation is having a hard time responding on their own blog, why would they respond to questions at this event?

It will just be the developers showcasing these new/upcoming games with vague answer's to questions. (I am not sure it's just a beta type of answers)

What you are paying for is a opertunity to play a beta if there is not a huge line.

However, the chance of actually paying and playing these beta games is higher than say a DriveClub +Edition comming out soon.

Anyone find it odd that they delayed releasing Europe's October Plus Games from the 1st Wednesday of the month to the 2nd Wednesday of the month for DriveClub?

Here in the US we had to wait either way as the 7th was the first Tuesday of the Month.

Will see if in April 2015 if Europe again has to wait for the 2nd Wednesday of the Month maybe the rule is day after US releases.

I know there have been a few times in the past the plus update was delayed and didn't happen on Tuesday.

Is the secret that in North America we never got an upgrade option option for Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition despite owning the original like Europe did.

I am still waiting for it to show up or a good sale to get this game.

@way2easy At least Europe got the Magma Red & Wave Blue DS4.
I don't know if Australia got it yet but we have yet to get a release in the USA.

That and Europe got an official Sony brand charging station & vertical stand while in the USA only 3rd party are sold.

We would just have to tell them the pair code or does it have to be registered on the same wifi first?

Can you then remove the list of paired devices when done testing?

Anyone know if the Vita TV will let you remote play with more than just the one controller using the PS4 Link app?

I heard that is all you can do with a real Vita just one of them.

Second Screen on the other hand I heard let's four devices connect.

Because Digital & Disc are installed to the HDD.

I wonder if you can have a friend lend you the disc and then buy the digital copy to save some bandwidth if you plan on going with the download option?

Maybe retailers like Gamestop/Best Buy who ever could start selling digital copies but it comes with an install/bandwidth saver disc?

Google TV has been doing a HDMI passthrough for years.
Also a picture in picture function where you can watch TV and use google chrome at the same time.
The best thing was the Netflix app when it first shipped as you could browse the entire library and then they made the UI the same with 75 results in certain categories.
This is not something new done by Microsoft.

That is depending on how rights are needed distribute games on Gakui of course.

Hopefully, Knack does not become the first PS4 IGC game as it was also the first for pre-orders.

This will be like when they had Rayman on sale for $5 then just right after added it to the IGC.

Now is actually a good time to pre-order Knack because of the promotion where if you spend $50 you will be getting $10 back.

On the poster at the bottom I see games like Second Son that will not be a launch game. Does this mean when the PS4 releases that may be a possibility of a demo for PS4 owners or these demo stations are our only chance at trying that game until release.
