@factsisfactsbro Its not finished. Short campaign and real lack of features that were present in previous halos. The core gameplay is meant to be good, but it better be...what is it...halo 8? 9?

I bought a game on PSN for £6 yesterday. That would have been 2 budget c64 games back in the day. I also bought street fighter 2 for megadrive for £90 in '93 I think.

@anoyonmus The lie of the Xbox series s being next gen is quite absurd. Low end pcs still play high end games with much visual deficit. Doesn't mean the old pc is considered a next gen device.

@Pixelated The enemies that are invisible trigger the sensing of BB. Combat against them becomes more effective when you get blood grenades and such.

@PegasusActual93 Yeah it's actually surprisingly in-depth. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. Also you can annoy those who claim it's a walking simulator by urging them to gently push the analogue pad more thus making the character break into a jog, then a run. 🙈

A person responsible for handling playstation indies giving advice on great indie games is a good move.

Pre-ordered when first announced. Looks to be a great platinum what with being able to finish the game without dying and thus not ageing. Nice dynamic 😂

Microsoft is 30 times the size financially of Sony. Anyone expecting or wanting an exact like for like service is either not being realistic or just want Sony's downfall. A race to the bottom would see Sony exhaust all its income and Microsoft would still be about the same size as it always was. Microsoft is not the little friendly saviour, this is all out about closing competition and leveraging itself to make even more money with every interactive entertainment transaction on the planet. There comes a point when the sheer scale of money you have can only be spent on stopping others making money.

@AstraeaV I know. Plus the dungeon design was absolutely stellar. The added depth dimension allowed them to keep the ingenuity in there.

Slightly different game, PS1 Alundra was the spiritual successor to Landstalker, and the new Death's Door game has a lot of similarities with that. For those who are old enough to know 🙈

Great game. If you like well done souls type games and wind in the willows, this is your man. Also really recommend death's door.

I'm playing the messenger at the moment. There is a trophy for getting to and beating 4th boss without dying. It takes between 32-35 minutes to see if you did it or messed up. Ive died on that boss about 10 times. I don't want to cheap it out by switching off the console if it looks like a bad run, so I need to finish the dlc to get an item that will make me stronger so I can do it. By the time I'm finished I'll have sunk about 40-50 hours into it. It cost about £6. Great game but it IS starting to overstay it's welcome. 🤐🤐🤐

There is only one reason this wasn't fixed. It's because upper management said 'Dont fix that.'. Even after the success of the game on multiple gens. Microsoft bought Bethesda, released it on multi platforms. Still didn't fix any bugs. Upper management. "Don't fix that.". It's not in a game makers nature to want to release a broken game and watch the teams hard work become the most successful software freakshow. I hope all the original Devs left and joined studios who cared.

I will always support the playstation brand with purchasing new releases at full price, Microsoft can't spend money faster than they acrue it. Sony, keep making fantastic games and making great investments. Your up against a boss with infinite energy and you are doing the impossible.

A third off isn't to be sniffed at. That's a top class indie game in the bag!

@lolwhatno The opening of Prey might be one of the best and most intriguing openings of any game. No spoilers. Try the demo. No idea about performance on PS4 base. I played it on pspro and it was graphically very nice and performant. If you don't have a ps5 yet I'd totally recommend it as most of these games are around 30fps anyways and you won't be converted to the 60fps clan yet 🙈

@Robocod Try aggelos mate. Wonderful wonderboy type adventure. I spent 50 hours platinuming it and it was under £4...

@lolwhatno Prey is actually a very good game. Great story and atmosphere. But only at 30fps on ps5 at the mo...🙈

@Theheadofabroom Mainly it seems to be loading transitions, and (I'm assuming) c# type heap memory returns. I'm hoping that these indie games aren't allocating new heap for every sprite or object every frame as long as the game goes but I think possibly they do.
