The removal of competition while appearing benign with things like gamepass(gaming so cheap it can be funded my megatech). @OrtadragoonX Your right. Elden ring does look gorgeous but not any technical level. From even said after demon souls was remade they were worried they couldn't keep that level of graphical prowess. If Elden ring allowed 1800p target the frame rate wouldnt also be jumping around I think.

@UltimateOtaku91 I'm pretty sure you can solo a lot, but later in tougher levels where the enemies are too hard it might be kinda fun to join a group. Nowhere near as involved as say wow, but still good fun and a lovely style.

@ShogunRok Very stylish nice feeling game. I played some people in USA on 360 when it was a subscription game. It is good fun. It's repetitive but also very moreish.

@munstre People are happy to spend the bigger price point. And that game they play that was bundled will wow and delight and create new fans for the series going forward. It's a great move from Sony.

@Kooky_Daisuke It would be awesome(next best thing) to allow PS3 games to be downloaded to actual PS3 hardware through your account. Also,you could still purchase dlc for these games.

@itsfoz The facts are showing horizon is consistently selling well and this will ALWAYS make more money than putting it on a subscription(already great value) with all those games.

I love Elden ring and I'm glad for its success, but there is no doubt it seems to have had its big sales. Horizon came out at the same time and those legs are WAY longer. And this is still to come out on pc probably in about 8-9 months earliest.

@KayOL77 Sony are still making the lion's share of their money from selling games out the bat(as opposed to just on subscription). People are voting with their wallets. Times change, but not that much.

@Godot25 There will be less money going towards the creator/publisher of the game. Show me some stats(with links) from publishers showing how this is not the case.

@GorosBat Bioshock and Mass Effect are bad examples. All of those games are on both Xbox and PlayStation. To just side with one company for future games would be a lot worse. The most successful games on Xbox that are FF are probably 12 and 15. And I bet those sales are lower than ps versions.

I favour my family and friends because they've been there for me, this is not simply a matter just to be casually abandoned. Also, if ff7 DID come to Xbox then there would probably be similar backlash if it wasn't announced for gamepass.

@GorosBat The final fantasy 7 remake series was probably a ps exclusive since way back. This will have been contracted. At the time, Bethesda wouldn't even be a blink in Microsoft's eye. In other words, when this deal was made to make ff7r exclusive ms was eying up publisher Bethesda will ALL those RPGs.
