Good. Weird that games as big as Alan Wake 2 and Baldurs Gate skipped physical, yet this one has the option. Maybe their analytics suggest without physical people are forced to buy digital and their profit margin is higher. But for me I just don't buy it altogether 🤷‍♂️

It was...okay. It had some alright stuff but a lot of filler and free-to-play rubbish. Also I could do without seeing these Call of Duty trailers every single year. They're all the same.

Glad Microsoft didn't buy them either way, they might have a lot of western RPG developers but these guys are the best in the business

@GamingFan4Lyf Fair point, although I was being hyperbolic and referring to PUBG mainly, which was (is?) as janky as they come.

@GamingFan4Lyf The "gamer expectations" were a self fulfilling prophecy. Nobody asked Square Enix to remaster Tomb Raider with fancy new hair physics, nor for Ellie in The Last of Us 2 to have realistic dilating pupils, or any of the mad details in Red Dead Redemption 2. But once developers set a precedent people expect it.

Also, a lot of the biggest breakout successes look like trash, by comparison. Minecraft, PUBG, Battlebit Remastered, Valheim ect. And Nintendo release games that look like they're from the PS3 era sooo...

I hate this deal. Just make your own damn games, Microsoft

I am very bored of hearing about this buyout, but I also don't want Activision to be bought by MS.

What surprises me is the change in perception with the deal. Sony are positioned as the babies throwing their toys out of the pram now, but in reality Microsoft just have zero right to buy Activision. Screw their "deals" and "offers". If Microsoft can't create meaningful IP with the many many talented studios they already own (including the 7 billion dollar Bethesda buyout), like Sony and Nintendo have done, then they deserve to fail.

And for the record I want Microsoft to succeed, competition is always good. There is no Gamepass without PS Plus, and there is no PS Extra without Gamepass.

Got about a week left of Extra so I'm gonna jump into a bit of Rogue Legacy 2 after work. Quite a few good indies this month in my opinion, Forager is good fun by the way.

Mixed opinions on these. I was excited for a Persona Tactics game but I pictured it looking more like FF Tactics with cool sprites. And as @Judal27 says Persona 3 remake looks good but It looks a lot like Persona 5 and will likely reuse the demon models.

@Cutmastavictory Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is Mortal Kombat 11 with all the DLC. It includes the extra characters and the Aftermath expansion.

Its actually a pretty good deal, its a great game even without the DLC. But can be had for a similar price physical
