Reminds me a lot of Cyber Sleuth on Vita. Awesome Digimon character models that were fun to collect and train, and a stubbornly intrusive story that wasn't as interesting as it thought it was.

If I remember correctly this is usually a weird "uncapped framerate" issue common with menus where the devs dont bother to cap it. It used to happen on Rocket League, the game itself would run fine but the main menu would blow your PS4 up. Also MGSV, game ran fine, but the helicopter menu would turn my fans into overdrive

So its a Steamdeck alternative with vague Xbox branding and nothing specifically "Xbox" about it?

I'll be honest none of these do it for me. But the game still looks cool and I'm looking forward to it

@Frmknst Halo was never generic it basically made fps popular on console, and showed what the Xbox could do compared to the PS2. Is it as iconic as it used to be? Not even close but its not generic

8/10. Wasnt expecting much but actually enjoyed it for once. Good pacing and a decent amount of cool Japanese games, no live service nonsense or sports games to drag the show down 👍

He's right. The Switch 2 is the most boring looking console Nintendo have ever revealed imo, and this is before the obnoxious nickel and diming. All it's done has shown me the value in a Steamdeck, and I actively WANTED them to sell me on a Switch 2.

@Juanalf Unfortunately, Xbox was too busy having the worst console reveal of all time. So Sony managed to sneak it under the radar. PS Plus was also considered really good at the end of the PS3

I'm not paying £400 for a system that has specs comparable to the 2013 released PS4. Or at most the PS4 pro.

This is before even factoring in the overpriced games, the switch online sub and the full price for the proper ""pro"" controller. Some of these comments read like Nintendo shareholders wrote them.

I'm not paying £75 for any game. And no, I don't care about how much more expensive games used to be in the 80's or whatever.

Mario Kart looks great, and Donkey Kong. But other than that it was a boring showcase with an annoying amount of rereleased games. PC seems like the go-to for the future

At work this weekend but will probably continue playing SMTV when I get time. I'm considering lowering the difficulty because It's quite a grindy combat-heavy game so far. I'm also eyeing up Yu-Gi-Oh! in the PSN sale, because I'm a sucker for shiny cards with cool monsters.

I just got back from Japan and there are posters and billboards for it everywhere. Video game sections in general were smaller than I thought, anime and One Piece figures seem to dominate, but any gaming section had a dragon quest promotion

Owlcat games have been a bit garbage with their console ports for a while. Hoping they finally make the effort with this one because the game looks really cool.

Too many awesome games this year to give it to (what i'm assuming is) Elden Ring DLC. Elden Ring has had it's time.

Just started this today after a couple of weeks in Japan ending with Tokyo Tower. Was quite surprised to see Tokyo Tower at the very start of the game. Looking forward to playing more, I'm enjoying the increased freedom so far compared to Persona 5.

Gacha and cozy don't really go together for me. Last thing I want to do during a cozy game is worry about in-app purchases, Log-in bonus' or FOMO

@RiotShieldsHurt they actually dabbled with this during the PSP/PS3. The PSP had some streaming functionality with PS3. If I remember correctly it had very limited compatability, but it was there.

Soul Sacrifice Delta would thrive these days I reckon. Especially after the success of Monster Hunter World and Elden Ring/Dark Souls. It was dismissed as a clone but it had a lot of cool stuff going for it.
