@Bazza78 even when you know what you're doing there's no real strategy, everyone separates because there are no communications aside from mics, no way to balance your team without seeing each other's loadouts, and you should not be able to summon more than one support per person at a time. I don't know why they have a 2 year plan, this will be forgotten about in a couple weeks but hey

The multiplayer still mostly feels like a chaotic mess. There's no real balance at all, blindfiring appears to be more effective than actually aiming.

@Bazza78 the difference is though that doom has very little attention to detail and is largely similar looking environments and assets of orange and grey where ever you go, with no reason to worry about draw distance and a heap of other things. Uncharted is far more impressive.

I was so glad they left out the supernatural, when they joke about 'ghost pirates' I was slightly worried.

@DrClayman it essentially is the base game just with a few skins as pre-order bonuses, or at least that's how I see it.
I think 42 is perfectly fine, I paid more for uncharted which will arguably only last 20 hours tops, I probably spent longer than that playing in the beta.

It should have had a story mode if only because of how good the characters are, but I'm fine with the content as long as they add more maps over time. Can't wait til the 24th anyway, I can't believe how bland it makes other shooters feel.

They are absolutely right and shouldn't have to defend themselves over this in the first place.

I normally love cel-shading but I don't think this looks good. Still a cool addition though.

@ShogunRok This entire article is an attack on the game that is unwarranted and rude. There is no respect shown for any of the work people have put into the game, it's fine not to like it or to highlight flaws but this is not how it should be done. This is not a blog.

How does this site get away with being so unprofessional sometimes. I enjoy it here but seriously can you leave your personal bias out of articles and save it for whoever reviews the game.

Bloodborne currently but I'm still working through Dark Souls 3. I prefer the melee combat of Bloodborne but magic is significantly more appealing to me so 3 might win out in the end.

Mass effect 3 is still my favourite despite what anyone who is still salty over the ending might say, and I greatly enjoyed Inquisition despite its repetitive nature so I think this will be great. They're also clearly taking their time with it so hopefully EA aren't pressuring them this time and learnt their lesson.

Wouldn't this undermine all the success they've been having? This is a terrible move if it's true.

I don't think I'd ever agree that a 'realistic' art style could ever be the most visually stunning.

I mean, if Dark Souls 3 wasn't right around the corner I might have got this, but I'd rather just save my money. Also agree about the art style, kinda off-putting.

@DualWielding no, the assumption is that this is like an arc, where humans were chosen and sent to the nearest galaxy to find a new earth during the war with the reapers.

Got Transistor on sale, one of my best decisions. Will pick up Bastion this time.

@ShogunRok I don't think I've ever seen a lone piece of dlc for more than 16 pounds, that's usually the very highest. Unless I've been completely oblivious.

A tad worrying, but I suppose it's probable he simply finished his job writing the story and moved on. I hope.

£20 for one piece of dlc? No.

Tried it on pc and ran into multiple bugs without getting past day 1. I dread to think what it's like on ps4. Not worth any money, and the dev seems to have a poor attitude.

Pretty great list, hadn't heard of Ni-oh or Vampyr but definitely interested now. Voted for Mass Effect because I'm getting desperate for literally any news.

@Donald_M it may well be easy, but it's just beyond tedious. The game has very little replay value either so I'm not inclined to even attempt it just for a trophy.

@Neolit lmao, agreed. I got every trophy but that one, it bothered me a lot that I was one off a plat but not enough to actually sink so low as to play the game in such a ridiculous way.
