@Gunners85 I'm enjoying the writing and humour more honestly. Rachel is great and the character animations are much much better this time. The choices still feel like they have as much weight and Chloe's 'backtalk' thing is a nice replacement for having any powers. The music is still top notch also.

No, they're just getting lazier. It's easier to put out multiplayer with microtransactions to bring in continued revenue for minimal effort than to make something original.

@RedMageLanakyn It's more about how worrying it is that they're starting to design games to be more tedious, in order to nudge you towards buying the boxes to make the game more enjoyable. That was acceptable in multiplayer games which have always been about how much you can be bothered to grind, but it feels wrong in a story driven experience.

@fisher Supporting this kind of practice is exactly the reason they keep pushing further and further to see how much they can get away. Microtransactions in a single player game is simply where I call it quits, but enjoy your pay-to-win experience that you've already had to pay for in full.

I honestly thought the plot was far better than what we got in 2. The levels didn't come close though.

@playstation1995 That doesn't make it acceptable. The core gameplay will be compromised in favour of making the game grindy to steer you towards getting the boxes. It's free-to-play practices in a full price retail game, no thanks.

It's so sad that they went and tainted this game, I really wanted to play it but I won't be supporting what they're trying to get away with

Persona 5 was my first and is one of the best games I've played in years, I loved every aspect of it so I don't see the others topping it. Hopefully I'll play them one day and find out.

I'm so tired of Arkane's half-assed endings with no payoff, 2 was a great game with a very disappointing final level. Prey was the same to a lesser degree. Stop giving choice if you don't know how to handle a branching plot.

Just Cause 3 was fun for about half an hour.. so probably Splatoon and Overwatch. Have the urge to replay so many games but probably just hold out for Hellblade (assuming it's good).
