Vote to Play PlayStation Plus PS4 PlayStation 4 1

Vote to Play, the PlayStation Plus initiative which sees you selecting one of your Instant Game Collection freebies, is making a comeback next week. Starting from 9th February, you'll have the opportunity to pick one of March's free PlayStation 4 games, with Action Henk, Assault Android Cactus, and Broforce all up for grabs.

As with previous polls, the winner will be made available at no cost, while the losers will still score nifty little discounts. The selection this time seems to centre on the theme of multiplayer, with each option offering an opportunity for you to get together with pals. But which will you opt for? Let's quickly look at all of the choices in a little more detail.

Action Henk PlayStation 4 PS4 PlayStation Plus

Action Henk

A quick search for Action Henk reveals that this is one of those games designed with YouTubers in mind – but it doesn't look entirely awful. Joe Danger meets Toy Story, this lightning fast runner sees you assume the role of a down-on-its-luck action figure, and sees you butt sliding your way to success in nursery-style environments. Swift retries and fast times are the order of the day here, with a spot of online multiplayer sprinkled in for good measure.

Assault Android Cactus PlayStation 4 PS4 PlayStation Plus

Assault Android Cactus

A game that practically bleeds SEGA, Assault Android Cactus is a Dreamcast era-esque dual-joystick shooter, unsurprisingly developed by a group of ex-SEGA Studios Australia employees. Sporting couch co-op and some of the most eye-meltingly outrageous action this side of a Japanese mecha motion picture, this one will appeal to those who were raised in an arcade. The good news is that you don't have to insert a quarter each time that you want to play.

Broforce PlayStation 4 PS4 PlayStation Plus

Broforce

We're sensing a pattern here: Broforce has also been played by virtually every YouTuber under the sun. They all make the same "joke" about the name, too. Original. Nevertheless, think of this game like Metal Slug crossed with a cross-trainer, and you'll be on the right track; it's a side-scrolling murder-'em-up inspired by ye '80s movies of old, and it promises to put hairs on your chest. Top-notch sprites, tight controls, and OTT action abound here.

Those are your picks, so it's time to come to a decision. Which game will you be selecting? Register your vote in our poll, and give us a little insight into your decision via the comments section below.
