I'm glad this review focuses in everything else but FUT. Everyone knows that FUT is bad, but it's been here for years - I've managed to avoid it and played fifa since early 10s. I want to know what's changed since FIFA 21.

What new mini games have added? Our favourite is the lose a player after you score game.
Is Pro clubs xp system still heavily geared to scoring goals?

I think if you have a dualsense that comes with the PS5 and a disclaimer saying that PS5 games work best with it that should be enough. And allow the use of DS4.

For example I want to go round my mates tonight and I am the only one with a PS5, I have 2 dualsenses and Fifa 21. We can't play 4 player Fifa on the PS5 version of the game because I don't want to buy 3 extra controllers, and my mates have no reason to get one yet. That kinda sucks, and so we might as well play the game on base PS4 which my mate does have.

If they can get foveated rendering in then it's going to be a hell a game changer. Imagine it's as good as 4K visuals per eye at 90+FPS. Dreamland!

I think the only game I've ever replayed was Unchartered 1, when the Unchartered collection came out on PS4 and I went through the whole series all in one go.

Some updates might make me go back and finish off the game, but I will almost never replay a game from the start/ new game +.

I couldn't even bring myself to pick up RuneScape again when they brought out Old School RS which I grew up on. Hell even I even started OG Pokemon's on emulators but just got bored within an hour.

I've just opened up the game. Am I right in that in plays in 30fps? I really hate moving the camera and it feels off especially as its first person. Surprising they couldn't push it to run at 60fps on PS5. Will likely give this one a miss then.

@EverydayRobot I was blown away by Control actually. I went into with no expectations, and was amazed by the destructiveness in particular. Something I've never seen before in a game. The rest of the gameplay was ridiculously fun too.

Only thing I felt was a bit unforgiving was the revive mechanic, in certain situations.

I can't see any mention in the description on FF7R that we don't get the free upgrade. Also it didn't even look like a different game to the digital version.

I would happily take the PS+ version of FF7R and pay £10 for a PS5 upgrade. I wouldn't pay £70 though.

I might buy a preowned physical of FF7R for PS4 in June if I have to pay £70 for the PS5 version.

But if you actually look at what is extra content the only thing that falls into that category is the 5 armour sets. Everything else is just extra.

And the 5 armour sets aren't detailed so maybe they haven't even made them yet and are still coming up with ideas to this day. So they could very well be extra.

Wait half of PSN accounts have an active PS+ subscription? That's amazing if true.

I only have 1 PS+ but have 3 PSNs of my own. My sister also has 1- so my household is a 1 in 4. I imagine there's multiple people like me, especially because of the Ubisoft Turkish PSN issue.

Am I missing something because that % seems absurdly high?

Underwhelming update for me as I've had almost no issues since launch.

Only problem I have seen is that a ghost copy of a game I deleted remains on the home screen - but this is easily fixed.

Was hoping for more QOL / UI changes.

I played this at 1080p 30fps on full fat PS4. Oh what an upgrade this is to me !!

I just bought P5 Royal. I didn't think I'd like it but I tried P5 for 10 hours from PS plus collection, heard that Royal is just the better way to play it. And so took the plunge.

This could be the next rocket league. I'm telling all my mates to download it even though they haven't got a PS5.

You don't have to 100% it before the end. You can also 100% it after completing the story like I did.

46 minutes? The original preorder allocation from Amazon in September sold out in 10minutes.

I managed to snag a dualsense charging station from Amazon on Monday and that stock only lasted 20 minutes.

46 minutes is a long time.

Tired of people crying about the price of games. If the sales figures aren't met than the price will fall.

Why cry about something that by its very nature is self correcting?

Also I started up TLOU Remastered (first time) on PS5 yesterday and was pleasantly surprised there was a 1800p 60FPS setting. This comes from PS4 Pro days so probably well known, but I didn't!

You enjoyed it for 15 hours and that's fine.

I just don't think I will get the same enjoyment and don't feel the need to test if I will. I tried, I didn't like, I give my thoughts, I move on.

Not to mention the R2 mashing (holding down R2 would've been much better). I also didn't think it was even that visually appealing. Maybe I'll like it if in give it more time, but I don't think I will tbh.

Tried it for about 20 mins and didn't like it.

The controls and camera really put me off. The combat seemed a bit stale as well but I did only play 20 mins.

I was waiting for the next gen patch, but I think I've gone past the point of caring now.

Don't even think I'll pick it up then. But I was barely interested in the game in the first place and it didn't really stand out as one id enjoy even when it was hyped up to oblivion, never played the Witcher series.

There were certain red flags.

People enquired about more information and they never got replies. They took payment from outset when some people said deliveries could be expected in summer. Very shady like to me.

I'm a bit sceptical about the company in general. It was a brand new company that set out to do this, I'm wondering how they were getting stock for it. Some were even straight up calling this site a scam site.

Call me crazy but l am more inclined that this was only a publicity stunt and they were never planning on actually fullfilling orders. Or they realised that the scam became too high profile to pull off.

Isn't P2W for multiplayer games. In single player you can just turn the settings to easy and that would make the game easier than any armour would.

I think it's up to the player to decide if they like the cosmetics enough to buy it. If the armour actually have you a competitive advantage than they would have a case.

People are probably crying because their photo mode pics doesn't look as good as others and they aren't getting the attention they wanted.

This was my 4th platinum (on Monday) since I got the PS5 (6th platinum I've ever got). And it's a phenomenal game combat wise (completed it on lethal). I've started legends mode yesterday and even that is surprisingly fun.

One thing I didn't like however is the camera placement, no lock on and can get covered by terrain so it can get you killed.

What is the order on the tomb raiders?

I've got Rise as that was on PS Plus earlier in the year. Is Shadow the sequel? What's the 3rd?

I honestly can't imagine scalpers having more than 5% of that 3.5million sold stock and all those saying otherwise are just blowing it straight out of proportion.

I think I read that eBay sold 60,000 second hand PS5s. That's only 2%!! The rest of the 95% stock has gone to actual gamers.

Just started this game coming from AC Valhalla and every time I try to get on my horse, muscle memory just makes me slash it down 🥺.

It only took me 3 hours from getting the 100% acheivement to getting the platinum.

It's well worth the effort if you are already 100%ing each region

It's not a case of me caring for your reasons but you are influencing others by spreading half truths. Calling it a buggy mess is not a real indication of how the console functions for anyone that has actually has one.

Surprisingly not long. About 1 hour and it could've been faster if I used a guide from the start.

You only have to catch 1 of each fish type doesn't matter about the size. Theres a good video on YouTube showing the best locations to fish for them.

But you're taking the bugs out of context. In cost/benefit analysis how much are the bugs affecting your enjoyment of the console?

You don't have a console so you can only see the bad side and not the good that actual owners of the PS5 are experiencing.

How many PS5 do you think have been returned because owners aren't satisfied?

You probably still have a while to go depending on if you are going for completionist.
Story (with 50% completionist) took me 120 hours, full completionist 140 hours, and platinum I got yesterday at 143 hours.

That's a great addition, although the first week had already taught me how to be careful about choosing the game version!

Just hit 140 hours and 100% AC Valhalla today.

Although not Plat trophy, maybe I'll try for it but I know that 1 trophy is bugged out (Settlement Decorations) already.

@fR_eeBritney I think the Yule Festival has bugged out the game more. I load in drunk after every save/ fast travel, had a max arrow bug and crashed like 3 times over the weekend.

But it's not. I haven't grinded at all.

Also it's not even necessary to be above 200/400 power to kill even the hardest enemies.

It's a bit stupid as I'm close to max level and haven't even completed the main story yet.

And I've had no problem with lvl 400 enemies since I was level 200 (half the Max level), and I'm playing on hard mode. Sure there's a harder setting put in sure it makes no difference in the late game.

Don't know if this was in the patch notes but I just realised that the shop actually has a picture of what you're buying now (cosmetics) and not just a standard scroll.
