Hoping for Hades to win GOTY!

Funny how Switch sold great and their fans claim that games sells consoles yet they only had one good game last year Animal Crossing a game that lacks content from previous entry (Hades doesn’t count I’m sure it would get ported to PS4/5), meanwhile in the PlayStation side we fight for who was better TLoU or GoT

@GKO900 switch has more games than animal crossing. People just don't buy consoles for the games coming in that year only. Animal Crossing was just one more game to the big list nintendo has and honestly, it's probably bigger than sony's.

I’m hoping Nintendo deliver in Switch games this year from their in house AAA studios. Having both next generation consoles as well. I don’t think we will such from them AAA top end games wise, also with delays as well.
Maybe Halo and maybe Ratchet and Clank
But time will tell.

Tlou 2 fans is one of the most toxic fans in the internet, you can’t says you don’t like the game and not getting harassed. I bought the game because misleading trailers and reviews, and it seems I can’t said it in here without the fanboys says I’m wrong about the game. Toxic fans for toxic games I guess 😕

@GKO900 Well Hades does count for now as so far there's not even an announcement for other consoles. Switch also had Hyrule Warriors AoC what was fantastic, Xenoblade Chronicles DE what is one of the best remasters out there plus yeah Animal Crossing and the various indies and the Mario All Stars collection what while lackluster does have one of the best Mario games ever in Galaxy what holds up very well. Fact is though Animal Crossing has sold more then TLoUP2 and GoT combined and is outright selling consoles all by itself.

@wiiware Only one who is toxic is you, you try to spin anything positive about the game into a negative and clearly make up bullsh*t to try and support your poor arguments. As for "fake trailers" well i assume you take issue with movies then? Misleading trailers is a common thing because it hides spoilers and shift attention away from big story beats, making it appear Joel appears more then he did helped make the shocking twist more shocking because we all assumed he would be in it for a fair bit, clearly you understand marketing tricks as well as how marketing can be a tool to enhance the main product.

@WallyWest Well I admit that the musou Zelda game looks good but other than that the rest are remakes or ports which only really applies to new players and sales doesn’t mean or equal quality, AC New Leaf is better than New Horizons yet is surpassing NL in sales despise the lack of content or innovation, heck the game doesn’t even have Gyroids a staple mascot from the franchise, but my point is more that Nintendo rarely has big great games like Sony with the likes of TLoU or GoT, and Nintendo even after they unify their consoles their games lack content from previous games and new gamers don’t notice because they just started but older players like me know the Nintendo cycle since N64 and I noticed their lack of content and quality

@WallyWest I'm just stating my opinion of the game, and it seems the market react to the game in the same way (big opening and that's it).

Just looked at the nominees....

Hades fanboys will finally have something to float about, the game will win the Action game of the year, Sorry Doom fanboys but Doom wins nothing, the category is weak and Miles Morales doesn't count.... So this will be an easy win for Hades fanboys

What does it mean for games integrity if CP2077 gets given the opportunity to be nominated for a Role Playing Game Of The Year when it not a finished game and released in a broken state and has been removed from the gaming store of the current number 1 gaming system.

I would have thought for integrity of the industry surely CP2077 should be barred from being nominated for anything.

It robs the hard work other devs put in to get their ready and released in finished state.

I mean why finish a game when it can be nominated for a game of the year award.

So if it wins, what does it mean for RPG released last year. Are they so bad that they get beaten by an unfinished broken game.
