@nessisonett wish we can get any tactical, strategy, rts type of game on console, especially scifi, space style.
Anyone know if any chance hearts of iron 4 could make it to console as well?

Looks like an easy cash in matinee summer movie to be honest.

I don't see xbx exclusives being on ps gamepass,i don't know.
For me it be the only attraction. And it would need be the big new ms devs titles, inxile,obsidian, bethesda.

Even then i need own a game, i play on and off for years a game, a sub you cant be sure when you'll have waisted your money.

Kinda makes me worry, what if Sony got bought by one of these other biggies?

Then turned into a soulless, generic money making mass market scheme. God forbid.

I think ps will stay on top,just maybe slightly less so.
Hope people stay loyal to a true game maker, producer that is Sony.

Ms just lowered even more their quality of interesting portfolio to me.
Much more a loss obsidian and inxile, was looking forward to starfield too.

But this is nothing for me, just hope doesn't affect Sony much, they have plenty of much much more creative, interesting, diverse quality games portfolio.

And can add a couple more maybe to compensate, even then, just pump out quality more and more.

It'll be fine if not too many casuals follow just the mob.

Pushes me further away from ms, more sad that we lost obsidian, but i bet they will be pushed to make fps games.

@Olmaz playable storage for ps5 games on the current ps5 really is a weak part of the design,with so expensive extra internal ssds.

At least you can just plug the same external hdd on your ps4 to your ps5 and play those i think directly?

I have a 4tb hdd on my ps4,always full.
Wish i had 8tb,and put movies,shows too maybe.

@Flaming_Kaiser yh, also doesn't have to be an open field if open world, i mean as long as you are free to explore, go back etc, but with intriguing map design still.
U could consider dark soul open world in a way, or bloodborne. Maybe a balance between those labyrinthine designs and full open maps would be ideal.
Still have interesting diverse environment, with a challenge to discover all nooks and crannies etc.

Agreed, too easy to fill in open worlds with generic, bland, repetitive objectives.
I love da:i base gameplay, the combat, camera control on pause, animations.

Sekiro is supposed to be pretty good for open world design, maybe it's not totally open, not sure.

Mass effect lol, oook... real rpgs aren't even mentioned.

Hard to say if we would rate it higher or not when we don't know yet the site's other coming top choices.

But im glad and would put it high as can just so more intelligent games are valued high over many shallow action games.

Ps store keeps so many games at original launch prices, then oh look its 50% off wow omg lol.

When in stores most these games are already 1/3 the price at regular price too.
Getting disappointing, plus these relaunch of games with only dlc included, and director's cut ed. Etc at full price..

@KundaliniRising333 agreed, completely silly video, and unsurprising from polyphony, and that it still will be most probably completely behind the more complex, deep, interesting sims out there.

As if higher resolution etc is what gts needed most to get more realistic lol.

I like the colors and in gameplay looks more intense than HK seems to me, more fun. Kinda like sundered etc.
On wishlist, another one as others said hehe.
So many nice games to try.

Be cool if action be as cinematic as in that trailer, with smooth not too fast animations, cam angles, etc.
Kinda like how tsushima seems to be, for which im still waiting in a good sale..

@KidBoruto yes, that or like the old trek pc space tactical combat game series, been so long i even forget their names, was a top down pov.

Or ideally a mix of both 3rd person action adventure like fallen jedi and tactical space action.

Well i have tip my hat to Ubi for this, finally a great gameplay focused update, with lots customization too, and optimization.
Will get valhalla at some point for sure now.
If they could only better the stealth and combat in origins too, maybe add these customizations i would be happy, and maybe for Odyssey which i have but haven't gotten around to.

Bad moves, just like when they removed ghost of tsushima base ed. even months before adding only the bundle with the island add on included.

Was waiting to get the lower priced base game when on a good sale.
Now it's a no sale for me, for a much longer time, until that version is on a good sale..
Plus makes me less like sony, carefull sony

@KorsaRaph yeah, can't say it looks more than middling to me from gameplay vids i saw up to now, need see more of it maybe.
Many youtube gameplays make games look boring though, even if the game can be great so idk yet.

Disgusting how our hobby is turning into games designed to earn money as a primary objective, instead of a fun, interesting, challenging, immersive, imaginative, cool, different experience.

It's generic consumerism items.
Luckily lots of good games and cool devs out there.

Intriguing, looks more dynamic and fluid than most fighting games, reasonable in the quickness of adversaries, most other games it's more a chance than anything if you're gonna react in time and with the right move.

Best vehicle physics, feel, control in gta, much better than in 5.

@lolwhatno hi,i agree ps4 could possibly run a game this nice if tiptop optimized, but from software arent the best for that i feel.

Days gone does look great.
And the ground,environment textures/detail and lighting dont look that amazing in this gameplay trailer always.
But to run and look as nice, like in the trailer i think it will need be on newgen.

Thesixthaxis gave it a 6,gonna need to look into it before deciding if worth it.,and to my taste.

The humor seems a little more endearing at least than in gta5, less annoying juvenile dumb, from the little i can hear in that trailer. I never played the old games, loved gta4, especially car physics, control.

Actually it is what i wanted to hear, take the time..
And it will probably still be another year or 2 even before all singleplayer is complete, expansions etc and fixed as can be.

@JB_Whiting @RBMango you guys are right on the money lol, cross fingers it wont be like that though.
I never played blacklist, some say it's too action oriented, that could be another misstep i guess.

@JB_Whiting bit out of subject matter but that is Dante i guess your avatar.. i never gave a chance to both old and newer dmc series, but i tried the demo of 5 and liking the quality and moves.
I just got 4se now on sale on psn for ps4, I know not best maybe in the series but its the nicest modern looking of the old series and wanted try that. Also i liked it more from videos, stylish, with religious tones, music presentation etc
Will get dmc de and 5 later on.
I almost paid extra for the 3 1st games included, was tempting, but bit old clunky seems, like old re games with cam etc.
I regret it a little as it will take a while to get those for so cheap separately again.
They take time to make them it seems.

Great..., so now we will get less singleplayer quality gaming from final fantasy and square enix..

Better than having your hand held forever,like in assassin's creed 3.. what a pain that was.

P5 is 12$ cad on psn now, was going to get it, thinking p5r is a multiplayer offshoot.
Now i dont know, will take a while for r to go down so low as well i guess.
I never been into Japanese games much, but i like rpgs, adventure style of it, turnbased combat, and realistic mature themes.
Not so much the teen dialogue, cartoon style, and corny style.

Watched a play thru, 1st couple hours and was into it, feels like living in a cartoon adventure.

Japanese games often seem so generic, fast done story, dialogue, music, art..

Just the facade of the 1st palace is so generic, simplistic.
The story seems to have blatant mistakes, like at the beginning, there's a subway accident and the guy in the car says no wonder there's lot of traffic..
It's an underground accident..unless i was too tired and missed something.
The music in the 1st couple hours couldn't be more generic, simple, monotone, repetitive cheap synth, as in most of Japanese games.

That be one good reason to wait for R to go down, if music is better.

Really so sad our fav hobby got so scummy, even exclusives, look at gts with their so high priced in game credit cars and selling each for real money.

Takes forever to earn in game. Pff.. i uninstalled it.

They take old games off of course, so we pay more for new ports.
Worse is games like tsushima, they deleted the base game from ps4 until they had the complete edition with the dlc added, so you can't buy the base game at a lower price now.
Pretty scummy from sony honestly.

This guy sounds like he was not in the mood,jeesshh,common it's not that bad.
Whatever. If it lasted him 2h means he played it on too easy or something,and also why it lost it's thrilll and fear of dying.

Never played 3 and 4, and just the beginning of 2, so ill be checking these out for sure.
Especially 3 remake, hopefully not screwed up though. Just too bad it will be Konami i guess cashing in on these and not Kojima at all.

Looks like could be cool, but please make an aaa space combat game, that weak voice acting i don't know.
Still remember Psygnosis dev space combat game on ps1, and their sci fi bike game, cant remember just now the names.
Was cool.
Miss games of that style.
