Funny how previews always say it looks astounding, and ds5 was supposed to be so well implemented.
Agreed that many games only on newgen seem like they could run on a ps4.

Looks cool, and a small evolution from past games.
One thing i noticed in desperados 3 vs shadow tactics is that higher level guards dont seem to notice anymore missing fellow guards, maybe its just at the beginning but i doubt it, it had already higher level guards, kinda supervisors.

Plus in the 1st game civilians alerted guards.
Idk,,just seems like a little dumbed down for easier gameplay in their 2nd game.
Difficulty was set on hard too.

@BusyOlf yeah, as oriion said, but coh3 will add a pause mode where you can put in orders too.

@Ear_wiG yh same,,i want the underside levels attachment or a,pad with it included,,but,at roughly near same price as the regular pad, 20$, more max.

Battery on ds4 was already short lived, and slow to charge. Seems only getting worse.

Do we get to know what's going to be on sale in advance? Seems usually sales just show up or sometimes the day before here we get a partial list.
I have lots on my wishlist, 100,,but would be more if it wasn't the max limit.
My backlog is worse lol.
So in a way im not in a hurry, but always anxious to try still unbought games from my wanted list.
Plus dlcs for some of my games.

Ps5 pro would be nice.

So another immense bloated patch tht will keep sayin need do even whn im on ps4 and only play offline single play.

I love iom2 and even the demo of rims, except for stutter on std ps4 in that demo, so im more than interested in this.
If they can blend the best of each game it be great.

@cassiel but coming from xcom devs and the publisher, it's disappointing.
There's some good tactical turn-based games on ps, and pc, many with a basic strategy layer at least.
Makes it a wait until a good sale as it is now.

@cassiel except they seem to have replaced any strategy layer with bland endless small talk and walking around.

The tactical action looks fun ofc, and nice enough.

Not too surprised, devs kept focusing too much on gore, graphics.

Wish they added more interesting things outside of action in suns, a,strategy layer to the campaign instead of hours on end of bland small talk.

Last of us 2 for ps4 only 13$cad, pretty good.
Some good deals in there, even tsushima reasonable at 26$.

I prefer not spoil more before going thru the game myself.

@Smiffy01 yeah, i got it on ebay with shifter new, free shipping, for a great price.
Been a few years of frequent use and still all works and looks like just fresh out of the box.

For less than a 100 bucks more, you'd be much better off with a g29, super nice wheel, finish, solid, great 3 pedal set, shifter for a little extra, all nice leather trimmed.

@bozz yh, marketing..., gt7 and cod mw2, common give me a break.
We know there's lots marketing underneat all this. Not about peak of gaming..

@4kgk2 yeah, just read a comment on youtube review of it, a guy saying ps only had 1 game lol, and xbox is better, good lord...

I liked it back then, i even hope it will stay with the original isometric top down style pov, not 3rd person, it be refreshing at this point, i liked it like that. And more than the 2nd game if i remember.

Any news on that? Probably be 3rd person..

They seem to have a habit of this.

Can you play the expansion in 1st person?
Bit silly if can't continue the game in the same pov as the base game, i like 3rd person, maybe more even but still.

One of the dev said they had to compromise because of having to be on xss too.
So why then performance is below par for the top consoles ps5, xsx..
Seems an excuse, although it be a valid reason to have less tech in their game maybe.

It's smooth in 3rd person mostly, but same demo as before seems.
Can't say im compelled to play the full game that much from the short demo, looks nice on ps4, but gameplay is stale, like they never evolve it since long years,,japanese games seem often like this.

The puzzles are boring, just the usual find the object that fits that door etc, idk, plus not much interactivity, dynamism, it's static nice graphics.
Best is the titbits of writing you read maybe.

I dont see it on ps4 app for ps4 at least, seems only a visual demo for ps5 called maiden and the old ps4 demo called village i don't know.

@GuyProsciutto yh, it wil be a must try of course but doesn't seem anything eye-opening in gameplay, design or artistically.
I mean looks kinda drab, just the brown troll in the pic looks pretty unimaginative and goofy and drab.

Really nice games but to drool over them idk, i find the last game great but i dont feel compelled.
The puzzles also seemed kinda lame, and repetitive chest opening, exploration not so compeliing and challenging fun.

Idk, id prefer the same type of classic camera angle, more cinematic, moody, plus it be different from all games being 3rd person now, and some 1st person.

What tech is there so much more in this controller to justify this pricing?
From 70 to 240 idk, all i want is the underneat levels, i hope you can get this for the regular ds5 or have a new pad with only these added for a much less increase in cost..

That's one of the reasons i hate sub services like this,much prefer buying my games.

Im all for singleplayer but story mode in battlefield has been abysmal.

Lever type controls underneath will be good for shifting in bike games especially, with clutch being on a stick for analog control.

Looks great, i like nioh too, just the cringy dialogue, acting, music..

Not worth thinking of even, 20$ up from 500$, big deal..., i don't see it as a big fuss.

Glad for the underside buttons luke the addon for ds4, practical in some cases, like in bike games with analog clutch on the stick, you could shift with the underside so you have free thumb and index.

@Ambassador_Kong they supposedly added gameplay improvements from the 2nd game. Plus physics, animations..

Enemies look cool, i hope you can play as them too.
