Golden Week is coming up soon. People are saving money for travelling to various parts of Japan.

Edit: you'd be surprised how many people travel at this time of year and how expensive everything becomes

There's just not the demand for a ps5 yet. Back in 2012 and 13, people were openly asking for and demanding a new console. It was on forums and among chats with gamers.

There's nothing like that. Pro just came out, there's a bucket ton of new great games to come...why would they release a new one? They are top dog too. No point upsetting that right now.

Just can't see it coming out before 2021. Announce a year or so before release, similar to what they did in 2013.

@playstation1995 Pretty much what I'm thinking! Xbox One X doesn't seem to have shifted the market so can't see Sony changing things up any time soon.

Won't be buying PS5 as i have so many games to play on PS4. Actually going back to my PS3 too as there are just so many great games i want to enjoy or revisit e.g. Mass Effect trilogy.

I read this as "the money we are getting from the microtransactions doesn't justify the level of flak we took from everyone and the number of cancelled pre-orders we got. So lets pass it off like we are doing everyone a favour and 'listening to gamers'. But we all know that we devised this system in the first place to gouge as many people as we could"

@ShogunRok 65 hours for 50 quid is a darn right bargain in this day and age. I seem to remember paying 75 quid to watch Sheffield United once for 90 mins in a play-off final. Yeah...that wasn't good value for money

This is good. I bought the game on a digital sale and just couldn't get to grips with it. That was a year ago. So if things are changing for the better, it gives me a reason to go back and give it a 2nd chance.

Been interested in this series for a while but never got round to playing one. My backlog and Ni No K prevent me from getring this at launch. But once a sale hits, it should tide me over nicely until DQ11 comes out in September! Thanks for the review, Sammy.

Is there a tab on the psn store to these games? Are these under the 'deals' tab? I have BF, FC5 save 10%, Games <8 and PS Plus Discounts. Can't seem to find where these deals are.

Ni No Kuni and Dragon Quest 11 have me positively brimming with excitement! I just hope i can clear out a few games from the backlog before NNK drops in January cause it's a day one purchase for me!

@JoeBlogs Totally get you on waiting for the gameplay front. This was particularly gruesome for a lot of people, myself included and i'm one desensitised individual! It's just the one is so darn low. Not sure i want see the next trailer

Cool....fifty quid saved for me then if it is indeed always online for single player! Gran Tourismo saved me another 50 quid with that practice.

Microsoft just launched a 'new' console, so of course Sony want to get some attention back in their side of the court. Will be interesting to see what they reveal. I'd say they deliberately held some things back from E3 in order to get the attention back on themselves and we are about to find out exactly what they are.

Having skipped all ACs since BF, i'm actually looking forward to this one. Looks like fun to me. Still wont pick it up until 6-9 months after release given Ubi's track record of shipping bug ridden games and behaviour on review embargoes.

Can't wait to hear about all things JRPG! Bring it on

Exactly the conclusion i drew from the comments. They clearly aren't doing their homework properly! But then again, i get the feeling this generation (in particular) that a lot of publishers seem to be a wee out of touch.

@Quintumply Hey. No worries. I totally understand and i personally try to limit my exposure to games ( and films) that i'm really interested in.

I'm just a sucker for descriptive detail. I think i'm in on this one. It's just that things like soundtracks and the like are important to me especially when you live in a country like i do and the internet can take days to download a game! (Vietnam)

Don't want to sounds like an @arse here....one thing i might add, maybe flesh out the future reviews in a bit more detail? Eg. some of your key likes in the game with specific examples, or some more detail about what different types of environment there are (and any variation between challenges within those envs), soundtrack/ambience....etc.

@ShogunRok If you had to compare it to P4 Golden (if you've played it that is), how would P5 stack up in your eyes? P4 was simply amazing for me and one of the best games i've played in recent years.

Ah yes...Dark Corners...now i remember. Been 10 + years since i played it. The sanity meter was great and the whole atmosphere of the game was excellent. If this one is even remotely close, then i'll be playing this for sure.

I remember playing this on Xbox (original) and loving it. Is this a remaster or a new story?

This is EA we are talking about. It's quite simple...get as many people playing multiplayer as possible. The more people playing multiplayer, more people tempted to open their paid for packs. Really quite simple to understand what they are trying to do here.

They dropped their online passes because they realised the more people who have access to the multiplayer part of their games, the more likely packs are going to get bought thus generating higher revenue.

They'll dress it up nice and fancy and make people think that it's all benign. But EA aren't stupid. Crooked as a politician for sure. But not stupid.

Hell, they put packs in Dead Space for heavens sake!

Pretty sure Sony said they were going to sort out the issue where when a game has recently been on offer, it's not included as part of PS Plus as people get a little narked when you think it's a good sale, just for it to be free a few days later.

I almost bought Titan Souls so lucky i have been busy of late and forgot. Granted, it's only a few quid, but i'm sure Shu mentioned this a while back. Can't find anything on the web so I might have just made that all up.

Titan Souls looks really good and DotT will be great as well. Just in the middle of playing through Grim Fandango and Broken Ago so this will be perfect for when those two are out of the way!
