The combat, visuals, environment and the Assassins' Creed-like map system are great in this game. I just CANT STAND the corny dialog and story in it. I had to skip every talking scene it was so bad. If this DLC follows that route, I won't be buying it.

@Carl-G Well to be fair when PS3 did full backward compatibly nobody gave a dam. So they removed it. Now all of a sudden everyone claim they want it or emulators, when in reality they won't use it either. There is only a small small group of people who actually play older games, and those people already know where to get them free of charge.

It's not confusing or weird as to why they made this, everything you need to know is in the actual video. Their fed up and tired demeaner while they read those messages from pushy entitled gamers that think they dictate when a game should be released. Gamers need to step back and learn some self control.

@Arugula There lies the issue, gamers today don't want to hear that development is going smoothly. They want the game made and released now, they have no patience whatsoever and have this weird belief that they are the ones making the game. I personally don't care when a game gets announced, don't care about updates on the development, don't care what the release dates are. I will play it when it comes out.

@80sGamer You say "generic rubbish such as outriders" ok we get it, you don't like the game and that's fine. But the game you first mention, Destiny, is one of the most generic. Just remember, Borderlands did everything and more then Destiny did 5 years earlier.
Games need variation period. Whether it has sloppy controls, uncompelling story, ugly visuals you name it. I'm starting to really doubt your username, most older gamers understand that concept.

@80sGamer Any shooter with loot is Destinys competition, Division, Borderlands, hell even Warframe. And quite honestly Destiny has a pretty weak story and repetitive missions too.

@SpicyTacos101 Why does everyone want games to be exactly the same as other games?. Those other games you mentioned have the exact same Rinse & repeat missions. All of them.

Nothing will ever be good enough for todays entitled gamers, its pretty sad. It use to be so much better when there was no console demo's, no videos, no youtubers influencing, and no "game journalists" bashing everything. Just a few magazines with 1 or two screenshots, not knowing when a game releases.

Of coarse Tom Holland thinks that, probably because he knows he was a terrible choice to play Nathan Drake. Same can be said for TLOU casting, its just bad. I would much rather them use unknown actors instead of trending actors.

I swear this website is the most anti-PlayStation PlayStation site on the internet. From the articles to the comments. Unbelievable.

@Westernwolf4 No he is posting it towards entitled gamers out there who think they deserve something. Sony has nothing to do with it. Just like all this State of Play talk, I mean just be quiet and watch what they want to show you. These companies don't have to show you anything or give updates, and when they do gamers still complain.

That price is very concerning, indie game or not it must be a very short game. And if it is only a 10 hour game, then they missed a great opportunity with a great looking new IP. It seems like it won't be worth purchasing, and that it will end up a PS Plus title sooner then later.

Arent we already getting the Anthem overhaul? I think its called Outriders.

@BloodNinja If people are getting analog drift then its their fault. If 97% of gamers never have issues, while the same 3% keep getting drift on all their controllers, even spanning console generations, then they need to think that maybe its them not the hardware. All my launch PS2/PS3/PS4 controllers are a bit dirty but perfectly functional.

Buying Bethesda was a bad idea on Microsoft's part they haven't made a game worth buying in a long long time. But neither has Microsoft, so I guess if the shoe fits.

It's not a secret, if you have drift on your analog sticks, you are the reason why. Stop putting so much of your in game rage pressure down on your analog sticks. And for those people saying, I've had controllers from so and so era not drift and so on. Maybe it's because you were a small weaker child before, now your a grown person.

I will never understand the mindset of people who need validity from celebrities or influencers to make their own decisions. Arianna is a product, being used to sell products, to generate money for their brands. Nothing more. Every post made or interview done by a celebrity is to generate social media points, all they care about is good PR.

@Shadow_Beast You cant really judge any of those games by those numbers, especially when it doesn't show digital sales. And the fact there are lockdowns all over the place, making it hard to purchase in stores. I mean Ghost might have only sold like 200 copies for all we know. And that would not be good.

Bad choice for Joel. Bad choice for Ellie. Getting bad feeling this whole thing is going to flop.

So now its video game cases that are a main cause that needs to change...I'm so tired of the "green" people. Fact is, if they got rid of all game cases today or even 10 years ago, it wouldn't change even a fraction of a percent of the what is happening in those places. It's not our fault other countries don't actually recycle their recyclable products. Instead they dump it all in rivers and oceans.

With everyone talking remakes in the comments, the one I would love to see is a Parasite Eve remake. Love that series.

Visuals and combat looks good and all, but I mean why does Wukong The Monkey God or whatever have to be in everything that comes out of China. Is it a government rule? Is it the only way they are allowed to release a video game or something?. Wukong is in every game they make, it's obnoxious at this point.

From the long playable demo of Diablo 4 from last years BlizzCon its seems they pretty much have combat, UI, visual and sound effects pretty buttoned up. I don't see why it would take much longer to complete. To me this seems more like a decision made by "the suits".

Seems a lot of people don't understand what microtransactions are, DLC's/expansions are not microtransactions those are there own category. Microtransactions are smaller in-game items purchased from some kind of in-game store (skins, weapons, xp boosts, RNG casino chests ext.) using purchasable in-game currency (which is the microtransaction currency). I personally think that microtransactions should be no higher then like $2, hence the "micro" part of it, but one can only dream.

It is also not up to Sony whether or not its going away, that is the game developers choice. They are they ones who put microtransactions into the games.

Anyone else look at that picture and get The Mandalorian feel from it. Or am I crazy.

@Col_McCafferty Yea, I like plenty of games and have tons of trophies. Unlike a lot users on this site, where you must like 1 game and 1 game only, because of reasons... My post said exactly why I don't feel its a good game, its a very generic open world RPG. Hell it might not even be in the top 5 open world RPG games this year.

I still don't understand how people think Ghost of Tsushima is this great innovative game. Its one the most generic open world action rpg's there is. I mean the past 2 or 3 Assassins' Creed games are near identical and have been better then Ghost from my view. I found Ghost to be pretty boring, like the devs were trying to be to artsy and and they lost the point.

Did you guys only get 10 submissions for this or what, because most of these are not great. That winning shot is probably the most basic shot of them all. Seems more like the person who choose the winner just wanted Ghost to win something. To those saying they wish there was more variety, then just use ShareFactory video clips to make a screenshot.

You can't have voice chat when you are online with 2 players on the same console though. Kinda dumb.

I dont see the problem here. They dont want people to download a game, beat it in a few days, then ask for a refund. Makes sense to me. So many articles and comments around here have been so anti Sony the past few months. I guess people just like to whine about everything.

@Nepp67 I will say whatever I want, if you don't like it its not my problem. And no I don't love TLOU2 either, It's just way better then GoT in almost every way. Why don't you actually make counter arguments instead of acting all high and mighty. It's because you can't. GoT is a generic open world game, the Assassins' Creed games have been doing exactly the same thing for like a decade. "It's pretty obvious you love TLOU2 and can't stand that others don't like a game you like" maybe you should take your own advice kid.

@Nepp67 Wow great reply, very informative... Did you notice that when I made my reply I gave examples. If you don't like what I said then tell me what game is more overrated?, because I haven't seen one. What I said still stands, Ghost was over hyped by game journalists, and by haters looking for something to praise instead of TLOU2, and in the end the game was very mediocre. Unlike most people, I don't fall for the herd mentality.

Ghost of Tsushima is the most overrated game in history. It brings nothing new or revolutionary, It's pretty much a copy paste of other open world games mashed into it. I mean if you compare it to RedDead 2 its kind of laughable. RDR2 had a far superior story, it had better visuals nearly across the board, and much more meaningful characters. And no, the combat in Ghosts is NOT great, It's mediocre.

@Jimmer-jammer Yes it does sound like a photographers dream...IN THE REAL WORLD, not in a video game. That is where you are missing the point. If someone came up to me and showed me a screenshot they took in a video game, I would probably laugh in their face. Loudly.

I guess that's neat?, if you are the type of person to take photo's in a video game for some reason. I don't really see the appeal in that. But the real question is, does the combat system still play terribly?

@God_of_Nowt Ok so maybe you and your friend both did have it (if that even is true, lets be honest we both know how the internet is). That just means you both were a part of that small percentage, doesnt mean it still isnt small.

@mazzel There was 13 million infected in the US yes, but the total population of the US is like 370 million people. So the percent of infected is 5% in the US. The total of 263k deceased from 370 million population, that's 0.09%. If you want to use the 5% infected rate its still only 3.03%. Fractions of fractions are what you are afraid of.

@Kienda Ok pal, I'm sure your friend did that. Did he also have a PS5 and Xbox stolen from him by Amazon drivers too... The hearsay aside, Sony didn't announce online only until after launch, before launch retailers decided what to do. I made my preorder in store, picked it up launch day in store. Bottom line is if this did in fact happen to someone, and if they got a refund, STOP COMPLAINING PERIOD. You lost nothing. People need to grow up and realize a game console isn't a necessity of life.

Don't buy expensive stuff online, lesson learned really. Now if you got a refund then you lost nothing, and no more complaining is necessary on the subject. I bet most of the people claiming it was "stolen" are just trying to get another console free.

Jesus, enough with that 1440p nonsense already. Just look at Steam's hardware survey, 1440p is 6.7% of users use it. NOBODY cares about 1440p for PS5.

The combat looks epically bad, and its so slow that it would be better off as a VR game.

Geez that combat looks absolutely TERRIBLE. No wonder they hardly show any combat.

Don't forget NBA 2k21 is not just a basketball game. It has some kind of PlayStation Home type multiplayer HUB in the game as well. With what looks like tons of options and customizations and things to do. And all of those need higher textures and what not.

Like I have been saying, there won't be enough demand because the majority of 1440p users play on PC. And even in the PC community 1440p is a low number.

Its almost as if the person who wrote this isn't a gamer at all. Most of those trophies I'm sure you will get without even knowing it.

@Juanalf See you are deflecting now, 8k isn't the issue is it. Why didn't you mention 4k? is it because it currently dominates the market at this point. My post is still true.
