by Tides of Annihilation will be playable in Europe for the first time next month, as Eclipse Glow Games has announced it'll have a hands-on demo for Gamescom attendees to play in Cologne, Germany.
With slots open to press and it being publicly available on the show floor, you can expect a lot more gameplay to hit the Internet based on the demo the developer is bringing. The show takes place from 26th to 30th August 2026.
First revealed in a PlayStation livestream early last year, Tides of Annihilation has begun making a name for itself based on its unique premise and action-focused gameplay. It uses Stellar Blade and Devil May Cry as inspirations to create "a fantasy action-adventure inspired by Arthurian legend. Uncover the mystery of an otherworldly invasion in a shattered modern London, unleashing hordes of enemies."

That reveal they did (the one with the boss fight) kinda put me off as it seemed more style over actual combat, I will love to be wrong on that, would say I am still excited for the game but it has been tempered somewhat.
Game looks amazing hopefully it will deliver. Nice to get a release window as well.
Ah, I remember this one. It was the Chinese game revealed in a State of Play last year wasn't it. I remember everyone comparing Lost Souls Aside unfavourably to it.
Here's hoping it's good, and it comes out before January 2028.

Loved it since reveal, have very high hopes for it. I assume the release date will be announced at the same time.
Fingers crossed this is more like Stellar Blade or DMC and less like Lost Soul Aside. I won't get my hopes up though. These action titles are so hit or miss.
I like what I've seen so far and at the very least it'll have another good performance from Jennifer English. Keen to see more.
