We’re nearing the Christmas break, but that isn’t stopping publishers from opening up about their upcoming games. Hogwarts Legacy, fresh from a fairly meaty reveal just a few short weeks ago, is getting a second gameplay showcase on 14th December at 10AM PST. If you’re not sure what time that is in your country, refer to the handy guide below:
- North America: 10am PST / 11am MST / 12pm CST / 1pm EST
- UK/Ire: 6pm GMT
- Europe: 7pm CET / 8pm EET
- Asia/Oceania: 3am JST / 2am AWST / 5am AEDT
According to developer Avalanche, we’ll be getting a deeper look at combat, broom flight, and the Room of Requirement. You’ll be able to watch on YouTube or Twitch, although we expect this to be pre-recorded. Of course, we’ll bring you all the footage here on Push Square, too, so don’t worry if you miss the video as it premieres.

This message has been updated from a previous version to make clearer Push Square's stance on the topic:
Hogwarts Legacy does not exist in a vacuum. There are important discussions being had about the views and opinions held by the creator of the Harry Potter universe – views and opinions which we do not agree with.
Our goal is to create and foster a positive environment for people – all people – to discuss and celebrate video games, not to amplify ignorance or provide a forum for unconstructive arguments. As per our community rules, we do not accept any form of hate speech on our platform.
Looking forward to this. I'm on the fence on this game. The more I see the closer I'll get to a decision.
I have a sense that, perhaps, preorders are not hitting the numbers they anticipated so they’re really juicing the marketing machine.
I genuinely love Harry Potter, but I am absolutely not preordering a full priced game from a studio that isn’t really a known quantity. If the reviews are good, then I will absolutely be getting it.
Im no fan of the harry potter series - but this is tempting my interest...hopefully itll end up being the spiritual successor to bully weve all been waiting for 🙂
Not touching this or any media related to its creator for obvious reasons.
I am very interested in the reviews for this. It’s not really about any gameplay or anything they want us to see for me.
I'd really like to support and pre-order this but with the way the industry is I'm going to have to wait for reviews. I'm not paying good money to be a game tester and play inferior versions of games. So hopefully the reviews will be good because this looks amazing.
Not watching this I wanna go into this as blind as possible I've been waiting for this game to exist for over a decade so I don't wanna spoil any of it for myself I can't wait ^__^
I think this game going to be great the more I see it I more I want it.
Ill be getting this once it dips in price just a little bit
Is there still no information on the switch version lol
I'm cautiously optimistic about this game. I will be getting it as long as the reviews are good but I definitely won't be pre-ordering it.
Already know I’m getting it (at release no less, a rarity for me, because the wife wants it to and I want to support the publisher). As such I’m avoiding all future footage.
I’m not watching any more footage because I’m buying this on day one anyway. Can’t wait 😁
Not a harry fan tbh, but the game did peak my interest a little, I'll wait for reviews before I spend anything, but I think this will be a decent rated game, probably 8's. Just wether they can really nail the story and exploration.

@brazzios_84 "You must state that you won't be buying the game for these reasons, but otherwise remain on topic of the game itself." I missed that the first time.
I really want this game to be good. There’s potential in the idea, but the execution could still be iffy
