A brand new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the sequel to the hit animated movie, has just been released. The first thing to say is that, visually, it looks spectacular. The first film was a real treat in many ways, and we don't doubt the follow-up will deliver too. However, keen-eyed Spidey-fans may have noticed a specific iteration of the superhero making a brief appearance.

About half-way through the trailer, you can see the Spider-Man from Insomniac Games' series, Marvel's Spider-Man, distinctive with his white spider outfit. Above is a screengrab in case you missed it. He's walking along with who we can only assume is the game's version of Miles. Pretty dang cool!

Of course, real webheads will be playing Spot the Spidey with all the different variations of the hero in this trailer — there are dozens of them, which is of course the whole point. It's nice to see Insomniac's version get a cameo, though. The suit made an appearance in the first movie, but it'll be put to use — even if only briefly — in the sequel.
