I'm cautiously optimistic.

I'm a day one purchase, a flop or two less won't put me off either when you consider the quality of games Playstation consistently produce.

@Futureshark I wasn't going to upgrade to a Pro due to the imminent(ish) release of the PS5, now I'm not so sure??

Kids will go for the power of Xbox, gamers will choose Playstation.

@ShogunRok I'm one of the few who really didn't like the Witcher series.

No idea, the Playstation won't detect my hard drive at all now though. I've tried removing and reinserting as shown on various videos but to no avail.

Will this affect Xbox release too?

I tried using safe mode tip to rebuild my database but now my PS4 wont start, says it cannot read the hard drive??

@Gatatog Commandos was the best strategy/stealth game I ever played, if this is in any way similar I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

Box art just isn't what it used to be.

Good if you don't own SOTC I suppose, I already do so not a great month for me. Zero interest in Sonic.

I always thought it was a good game, it was RES5 that put me off the series.

Quality content is better than an over powered console with nothing much going for it, Xbox X I'm looking at you.

@DonJorginho I'm not worried as I'll be getting the PS5 regardless, but as the days go by I'm starting to think that the Xbox will be the dominant system for the coming gen.

I'm seriously considering deleting this game after this most recent patch.

Considering what I've seen squeezed out of the base Playstation which is barely 2 teraflops I'm more than happy to see what they can do with the PS5.

Less power but better games, I'll be opting for PlayStation again.

@Neolit true the Fallout 3 world was much more fun to explore than F4's, I think they chose the wrong formula for the style of game/setting.

Who doesn't love exploring?

I'd rather have one dedicated system than all that nonsense to be honest.

@Bamila I'm yet to finish it, in fact I have many unfinished games on the go, GOW, RDR2, HZD, Wastelands 2..... the list is long.

It won't really matter to me tbh, I'm just looking forward to playing it. And anyway, if the spec rumours are true once the PS5 is here most PC gamers will no longer be able to bang on about being the master race as only the very top end PC's will be more powerful, and the majority of PC gamers don't own a top end PC. Games on the PS5 will look and run nigh on identical to anything else available.

I prefer the look and sound of the original games.

I expect downgrade, CDPR are undoubtedly good but they're not miracle workers.

Are we heading for another No Man's Sky situation?

As someone with a real baby I'm not sure I want to spend the now much smaller time I have to play games looking after a virtual baby, mmmm.

@TheArt judging by the various screen shots and the (small) footage we've seen it may well be a similar type of world to that of MGSV, there doesn't seem to be a lot going on.
