There’s a new character joining the cast of unexpected sequel Streets of Rage 4, and she’s the guitar-wielding daughter of former star Adam Hunter. Fighting alongside Bare Knuckle veterans Blaze Fielding and Axel Stone, the nimble Cherry will use her guitar and love of rock music to shake up goons.
Judging by the key art, it seems there’ll be a fourth character joining the roster before the brawler launches in the future. In the meantime, check out Miss Hunter in action courtesy of the trailer embedded above.

Me too. But it's a good move not to be yet another 'retro' pixel art sidescrolling brawler. Whatever the pedigree - if it looked the same, it'd get lost in the crowd I think.
SoR can afford to stand out from the pretenders and move itself forward. The team involved in this is pretty dynamite. It should be good.
Why didn't they add Max, Skate as well Skate was Adams son and Max was a former bodyguard who Axel knew from way back. I'd love to play as them especially Max I loved to do the back breaker which would take huge amounts of bosses if you could managed to grab them

I jest, for once I don't think that's an overt intention for the game and that the designers just wanted to add something new and go their own way. As I said earlier, retreading old ground wears thin pretty fast.
Can we protest this game until they agree to put/reveal Skate in this game? Ridiculous to take him out!! And borderline racist that it’s always the black character being swapped out....If they’re smart they would make every former playable character a DLC
