Does the PS4 version support mouse and keyboard? Would love to get the PlayStation version , but I think this game is best with mouse and keyboard as opposed to controller.

To contribute to the topic at hand, I think the reason this is such a big deal is because if the deal goes through (I think it will and I could care less honestly, I only play Overwatch from Activision-Blizzard) it is going to have major repercussions for the industry going forward that we are not yet aware of, or oblivious to at the moment. Think about it for a second here, when in the history of gaming has a third-party publisher ever been bought outright before?

I can think of no event of that magnitude ever happening before thus, this is going to have major implications for everyone in the industry involved, both consumers and developers. Anything will be possible now, and it will be interesting how the industry develops going forward.

I do not like where it is going personally, but I have developed a great amount of games in my backlog from the PS4 era all the way to the SNES era. I can comfortably play these games for the rest of my life and not play anything new and be happy with that in all honestly.

Have not made the transition to this generation of modern consoles and it looks like I will not be doing it for a very long time, and you know what, that is no issue. I have a great library and backlog of both PS3 and PS4 games to still play, and a very nice gaming laptop to take advantage of when I want to play on GOG and Steam.

I am sure me and the PS5 will finally meet, maybe three years from now. I have a sneaky suspicion this generation of hardware will last a lot longer than any in the past.

Tempted to give this game a try. It will be my very first battle royal game ever if indeed I do decide to take the plunge. If I do, however, I will be playing it on PC and not the PS V for the simple reason of not yet owning a PS V and more importantly, for me, I have become a believer of the mouse and keyboard as a superior input method.

I do hope mouse and keyboard support can be supported by Sony and developers going forward for many more games on the PS V.

Has the second game ever been released on a Playstation platform? I know the first game has, as I own it on Playstation III but cannot seem to remember if the second ever made it to a Playstation.

Would absolutely be delighted if every shooter released on the fiver has mouse and keyboard support. It is just so much more intuitive and immersive as opposed to just the controller, for this genre of course. It is like when I play fighters, I always use an arcade stick because that is the "proper" way to play fighters. Just like mouse and keyboard is the "proper" way to play fps.

Of course I mean proper only as an opinion and not a fact, but until this happens, I will be avoiding the genre on console and instead purchase exclusively on PC.

Received an email informing me that I will indeed be in this tier automatically since I subscribe to both services. PS Now is a great service regardless, shame it was overlooked for many years but hopefully these new options bring Sony much success.

@Voltan Understood. Thanks for that information. With Evo around the corner I wonder what platform of choice will be used by the players. Without a doubt it has to be the PC if they do not improve the input lag then.

Great news for everyone involved. It is well known that the PC version of the game is the best because of the low input delay in that version. Has ArcSys done anything to improve the input delay on the PS versions, especially the PS5 since it was the worse of the bunch?

Same thing has happen with the KOF XV PS version which also has quite a high input delay.

Not sure if it is a developer thing or a Sony thing in the reasoning for this high input numbers but I hope Sony can work with them in reducing the input delay with future patches of the game if it is indeed a Sony thing.

My main is Ivy. She has been my main since the days of Soul Calibur II.

I do like Hilde as well, especially her VI iteration so I main her has well.

I was actually going to compete in the Soul Calibur VI event in the year 2020 but the pandemic happened and you know the rest of the story.

Unfortunately Soul Calibur VI will not be a main event game but I hope it is a side tournament. If so I will still go and compete in it even though it is a side tournament.

Looking forward to this year's EVO and it is great to have it back as an event people can attend.

I will be picking up Ghostrunner thank you very much, but I will have to do it through the PS app since I have yet to own the fiver.

I will be adding to that number in about three weeks as well .

The winter wonderland event of Overwatch started, so I will be playing said game over the weekend to get into the Christmas festivities.

Looking forward to playing this game. I do love the Borderlands franchise and am yet to get tired of it, no Borderlands fatigue whatsoever and more is always welcomed.

I actually just signed up for this service for the first time ever yesterday. It has been good fun so far, no noticeable input lag so far but I have only been playing one game, the Sly Cooper Collection. I hope for the good fun to continue. After Sly I will play FF VIII, my favorite FF from the PS I era.

Great news for Bamco. I have the game on both PS4 and steam, and will be working toward the platinum sometime in the near future. I enjoyed the game and am hopeful of a sequel eventually. Fun souls like for those still unsure about it and like the souls genre.

Would kindly like to mention Strider as well. Great game, part of this genre as well.

I actually will buy it on GOG this Friday, and then later on the PSN store. Seems like a game I will enjoy.

Cannot wait to get my hands on one in the near future. Will finally upgrade my 2014 32 inch 1080p tv to a more modern one, and then I will be in the hunt for the fiver. In the meantime, I am glad the DualSense is a resounding success and most everyone seems to praise it.

@ApostateMage I will probably buy it on GOG by the end of the summer. Think that is probably the wisest place to play the game......maybe.

It is digital only in the west for the PSN. In the states, the Switch is getting a physical release of this game. Not sure if Europe will also have this physical option only on Switch as well.

But yes, if you are buying this on PSN your only option for the time being will be a digital version.

Day one buy from me. I have loved the series since my first foray into it, on the Nintendo DS with Justice for All. I have all the DS entries that made it outside Japan.

I will be buying this on PSN to join the original Trilogy I fondly have on PSN as well.

OMG. Dead Space is one of the greatest games ever. Deal Space I and Dead Space II are experiences every gamer should have. Hope this is true. We need more Dead Space. Special mention to Dead Space Extraction. Which is a great on rails shooter in it's own right.

I had thought they, WayForward, were actually developing a game based on the RWBY franchise. I wonder if that is still in development and just was not ready to be shown.

Regarding River City Girls.......welcome news, very happy it is getting a sequel.

Huge fan of the original. Really amazing 2-D souls like. When i saw the trailer i was filled with joy. Day one buy for me.

To me, the most important aspect is the relationship and trust that Sony will develop with these "second-party" studios. Sony will trust these studios to develop a project they are passionate about and will support it, while the developer will trust Sony to give them the platform to flesh out their ideas and the user base to make the project a success.

Sony and Nintendo platforms are a definite. That is where it's audience is.

Truth be told, i would love for transistor to go on sale on PSN. That is the game from Supergiant that really intrigues me.

Gabe Newell, i believe, has never had anything positive to say about Sony, but hopefully he is starting to change his mind.

@Col_McCafferty I actually think it would be a good idea for Sony to release their own launcher on PC, if of course, they were to release their games on PC. Cut out the middleman as it were. However, this is just a thought, not exactly sure if it would work just think it is a good idea.

I plan on buying it for the fiver, however, i do not own the fiver yet. Once i do, it will be one of the first games i purchase for said console.
