The fixed camera angles and tank controls of earlier Resi games contributed a huge part in the tense and scary situations the game put the player in. I still believe there is a market for games of this type of control scheme.
I have had it pre-order since it was announced it was getting a western release date, back in June I believe. Big admirer of Vanillaware, so anything with their name on it will get my attention. I am looking forward to the game and believe it will continue to uphold the quality of Vanillaware.
The alpine green is my favorite. The white and green combination is always great, and it just looks class.
I still regret not getting it while it was still being manufactured but, I still had a working controller at the time and could not justify adding another.
So glad I have waited on my purchase of Control. I know how highly thought of it is to many, a great game.
For me this has no negative effects but, I do feel for early adopters who supported the game from day one. If anything this teaches us all to be more patient when it comes to game releases, since it seems an inevitable complete edition will be release in the future.
@ShogunRok That is my favorite color actually, the Alpine Green. I missed it when it was originally released and have been looking at eBay but, the prices and the fact that they could be fake are making me think twice. It was a great color Alpine Green and I wish I could of picked one up when they were being manufactured.
Was looking great and I was interested in the game when I read that Platinum Games was the developer but, ever since they left the project my interest dwindled.
This and Godfall where my highlights from yesterday's State of Play. Shame about everything that has come to light since the reveal. Hopeful that things get resolved and situated and everyone can talk about the game as opposed to the allegations.
@Kristos @TBubs311 Thanks for the responses. I do own a PS4 Pro, and because of your input I think maybe I should just get it now instead of waiting. Cheers!
Aon Must Die and Godfall were my personal highlights. I am very intrigued by both these games.
The Pathless is another game that was intriguing, though I am confused on the gameplay dynamics but, I am sure as I learn more it will make more sense. Look very unique.
Arcade sticks will work on PS5, correct? I still have and use my MadCatz fightstick from PS3 that works with the PS4, I hope to be able to take it with me to PS5 as well, since this game will definitely be backwards compatible on PS5.
Great announcement, Capcom has done an amazing job improving the game all these years.
I have over 150+ physical games for both PS3 and PS4 (around 75 games for each, maybe a bit more) but, I will be transitioning to all digital when I eventually get the PS5.
I do still prefer physical games but my main reasoning to go all digital is for the health of the developers, as a while back I read an article about how healthy Capcom business is at the moment and they themselves credited digital sales for that.
I think they get a bigger cut of a game sale is it is sold digitally over physically if I am correct.
Congratulations to the franchise. Any franchise that can last 20 years is a great accomplishment. I myself have never played a Dynasty Warriors game but I do own and enjoyed the Dragon Quest games for the PS4 that are similar in gameplay to Dynasty Warriors. Fun games and worth playing if you have not.
Developed by Omega Force, the same team that is part of Koei Tecmo.
Looking forward to it. As someone who will not be upgrading to next generation hardware any time soon, I am looking to see if I have anything to look forward to for the future of PS4.
If not it at least gives me time to look at my backlog and try to get as many finished before I eventually move on to the next generation.

Re: Control's Alan Wake-Inspired DLC Arrives on PS4 Later This Month
I am waiting for the inevitable PS5 release since I read articles describing that it will run better on that system.
To those who have played or own the game, how does it play/run on PS4?

One of my favorite video game franchises ever. Long may this success continue.
