Honestly, I don't get it. I love my Switch 2, loved my Switch, but 99% of time played it docked on my TV. I have no interest in playing a handheld. Strains the eyes and the hands/wrists. I just don't see this HUGE demand for handhelds.

The relative failure, in sales, of the stream deck (about 4M sales) shows most people want to play games on a big TV!

I'm sure sales will pick up, but there have been so many bangers on GP recently, who would have time to play a shadow dropped game as big as FFXVI at a moments notice!

well, it's already 20% off. I have too many games to play, but really excited to play a fully working version of this game for £30 in a year or so.

As with gears, the original trilogy is the best, IMO.

I have MCC on XSX but would certainly buy a remake of Halo 1 on my PS5

@ButterySmooth30FPS yes, exactly this! I don't understand why SO MANY people online don't get this - it ISN"T an Xbox handheld console it's another windows PC handheld. Nothing new, it just has an Xbox button!!

I started to check my library to see which XSX games were play anywhere. After Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 weren't I gave up!

this article is wrong isn't it? you CAN'T play your Xbox console library on this, it's a PC! So much misinformation and the internet full of people wrongly thinking their whole Xbox (console) library will be playable natively on it.

hahaha, I played through the original meat boy, and celeste, and the two ori games, and now have no hair on my head left to tear out. I love the look of this but don't know if I can put myself through another rage inducing platformer like this...

Day 1 purchase, despite owning on XSX

nobody mentioning the sneak look at the new level which seems to be skating in side a pinball machine, being played outside by a giant TH??

really looking forward to this, only played THPS1-3 at the time, so the changes to 4 aren't an issue for me

the flaws and perks systems look absolutely great, this could be really good

cool, too many games to play to get around to buying indy yet, but will look forward to this, eventually!

For me, confirmation that Fable will be on PS5 please.. and Starfield on PS this year, with the second DLC announced.

Gears remastered gameplay would be good. FH6 news would be splendid (Japan pls!), though probably not coming this year.

New 3D Banjo about as likely as Nintendo having a sale, but I live in hope.

I took tomorrow off work as I pre-ordered the Switch 2, despite my age, I've never pre-ordered a console before. But Amazon have let me down... too late to cancel the leave so I can stay up 'late' for this, haha!

all these years I've been xbox one and XSX and the PS had the best showcases... now I've gone to PS5, it has reversed. oh sweet irony!

PS5 digital slim is £329.99 on Amazon right now. That is a ridiculous price... staggering people are voting that this is overpriced! So much cheaper than a Switch 2 or an Xbox...

As a former Xbox One / XSX player, but somebody who now plays on PS5 and Switch exclusively, and now that Forza Horizon is here, and Gears is imminent - Starfield is the only game from Xbox that I miss in any way...

... assuming that the GTA IV and Fallout 3 remasters / reissue rumours come to pass. and Halo makes it across.

@frankmcma honestly, I spent so much time with my spaceship - the spaceship editor is amazing - that if I couldn't import my xsx save file, I wouldn't want to start from scratch again!

played through this and the DLC for the first time a couple of years back on XSX. PS5 player now, and was thrilled to find out it had cross play, so picked it up on deep sale, loaded my XSX save and now have it ready to do a NG+ run soon...

@AgentGuapo I understand taxes and exchange rates. accounting for those, Americans still get things much cheaper. how difficult is that to understand? patronising.

@Nalim THIS... amazing that the only country not suffering through price hikes is the one causing the problem! Really annoying that we have to pay so much more for our electronics that Americans.

had some fun with this already, the illuminate jets that do strafing runs are absolute fiends.

Not interested in the newer Halo games, but loved playing Halo 1-3 (and reach) on the MCC on my XSX. So (as with Gears), even if they release these individually, I'll get 1-3 of each franchise Day 1

just so happy that this includes horde, as heard rumours that it would be the campaigns only. So excited to get on the multiplayer again

@AdamNovice mainly for the PS5 audience though, and free on xbox and PC if you own the previous remaster, Sony don't do that, do they?

shame. never played LBP as was Nintendo and xbox until recently. But currently playing Sickbay ABA and it's so much fun.

@reddevilcat I agree, the review is so brief... and if the map is overwhelming, just use the option turn off some of the race types. It's such a niggly complaint.

Review doesn't tell you how the game works, at all, but hey ho. Hopefully people will try it, as it's a total banger...

Had this on XSX. Bought premium edition on PS5, and linked to the XSX account I own the game on. There are some minor but annoying issues. Partial cross play, sort of. The patch that just released hasn't fixed these.

I don't get the 20 odd cars gifted in messages that new players on PS5 report that they get. No cross-play, but as soon as I trigger a speed trap/danger sign, etc, it immediately brings up my record from my XSX account and uses that. Will show the 3 stars I have on XSX, even if I fail it on PS5. Makes it hard to keep track of things. Says I have 13 or 14 barn finds, yet I have 7 on PS5 and 14 on XSX? Bit of a mess..... Compares my scores against my XSX friends list, and if I beat a record from my XSX account, it updates that! Annoying, to be honest! It's not one or the other...

Xbox gamers will play it on gamepass, no need to advertise it. PS5 players will need to buy it.

@PlatinumMikey fair enough my friend. Shame to miss FH5 as driving games are my fave too, from sega rally and Daytona, to MSR, to PGR, then the FH games, these new FH games truly are such fun. I do understand the reticence to share info, and also the game preservation arguments too, but when it's on sale one day, set up a gmail with no personal info and dive in, it's such a great game

@PlatinumMikey yes I do understand that, but if it stands between playing and not playing a game you're interested in, can't you just set up a random gmail, doesn't have to have any real personal info, and use that?

Giving an email address is so common now, to access iPlayer, to use Tesco club card points, it's fairly standard practice. I assume you don't play Bethesda games either, as don't they have a similar requirement? Epic, EA, etc... How did you set up your PS account, or is this just a Microsoft thing?

I just don't understand why you don't set up a new gmail account, and MSN account, and then never think about it again? Why deprive yourself of such a great game??

Forza Horizon 5. Played it to death on my XSX 2 or 3 years back, and having just as much fun playing through it again. It's magical.

And Sackboy! started it last week, and having so much fun with it, better than I'd hoped, and such a banging soundtrack!

@SuntannedDuck2 I think a couple of the earlier Fora games counted too, think I had 7 loyalty cars all in...

Fired it up on the PS5 today, linked to my XSX account so it gave me the reward / loyalty cars for owning FM and FH2-5, which is cool. Not done a single race and have 1.9 million credits and 78 cars (18 super wheel spins later!!)...

Feels great playing with the DualSense.

@TheGrizMan it is incredible, I think it's probably an 8/10 if you've played some of the previous games, as it's just more of the same, but if you've not played it before and the idea appeals, it's a 10/10 all day long.
