Just finished watching was a good show about 8/10.
Basically all the games PS5 day one apart from FH6 later this year.
Xbox is now really that publisher they wanted to turn into.
This was a very impressive looking game. I am a huge Forza fan, the horizon games have been brilliant to play, especially 4 and I definitely can’t wait to play this at some time on PS5!
FH5 was a good Pro enhanced game as well.
So guess FH6 and Fable will be as well.
Looks good! I did get some ‘FH5, but in Japan’ vibes, but i guess thats only natural with sequels. All in all, it’s not really for me. But maybe later on when it’s on sale or something
No point buying FH5 then if this one is out this year.
That was a good show. Four totally different games, all very memorable, and all deserved their time in this show.
@LogicStrikesAgain yeah i go that feelong i was hoping the graphics would be better as its built from the ground up for next gen but visually it isnt much of a leap but im sure it will be a great game and i enjoyed fh5.
Japan looks beautiful, Playground games always deliver on that side
A great show that Xbox always delivers. The games coming to PS5 are a great addition too.
I did pick 5 on sale a few months back… looking forward to playing it this year. If I end up liking it (which I’m pretty sure that I will), I’ll keep an eye out for a decent price on 6.
Never been much into the FH series but its really cool that this is set in Japan, game is also looking quite good overall.
Forza 6 looks fantastic. Graphics will be awesome obviously, cars look great, I want to know only one thing - soundtrack. It would sound awesome to have fully Japanese OST
I'm guessing August, they don't want to get to close to gta.
@Theamazing1 The game still has to be made for Series S and lower PC. Playground games tends to push very solid proper frame paced games at 30FPS/60FPS
@AverageGamer that is a good point but games can still be flexable with settings for lower end platforms and make the better for the more powerful consoles/pc.
Super stoked about FH6 launching on PS5 later this year.
Never been big on racing games, but FH5 is literally the only game I've played on my PS5 since last summer, and Japan seems like an infinitely cooler location to play around in so it'll definitely pull me away from the current game (I just hope there's a way to transfer over at least some of my current cars).
@Theamazing1 Games are still designed within a scope of what possible. They can only so flexible before you start ruining the overall experience. Extend too far in either direction are you ruin the experience for low end and high end players. That why playground games is a cracked team. We have seen it multiple times this gen where series S version is extremely poor cause developers focus too much on high end gamers
Ah hold up I only bought bloody 5
as somebody who played FH2-5 on XSX, I really like the fact you have more of a career mode this time, starting as Joe Public, and not immediately having loads of badly written NPC's calling you 'superstar' (looking at you, FH5!)... though I'm sure the awful dialogue remains!!
hoping the Fable team have helped a little with the dialogue though, haha! Looks good, but will wait for the inevitable sale, as 80h into my GT7 journey and still have a loooong way to go!
@Scouse_Pirlo if you can pick it up for a reasonable price then it's definitely worth getting as it's a brilliant game. I can't wait for FH6 but the two games will compliment each other.
@Northern_munkey I played games one to four and generally they started to seem like same s*** different day, so I skipped five (Mexico isn't a draw for me). Japan on the other hand is if they can nail the whole Japanese culture in the game
@Scouse_Pirlo fair enough buddy. FH5 was the first of the horizon games I played. The only previous forza games I played was forza motorsport 1 and 2 on the xbox 360. I wish they would bring those to the ps5.
