did the WTC600 race on the new track, it's quite a nice circuit!

Maybe it's my age, but this looks the most generic, boring game to me, and no different to countless other modern 'bloke with sword' games. I think 'essential' may be over-egging this somewhat.

love these games but that pricing is outrageous. I don't remember the previous games costing £110 for the game plus DLC, etc. Madness

Loved FH2-4 (FH5 was good but didn't enjoy it as much) on my XSX. Now I've got a PS5 and I'm 200+ hours into GT7, I'm not sure about FH6, I'm much more enjoying the more realistic circuit racing of GT than the prospect of endless drifting, awful NPC dialogue and the same arcadey FH formula yet again.

I'll most likely pick it up eventually though, MS does tend to offer steep discounts after all

@psmr in fairness, playing it on the C64 (or the master system in my case) doesn't really compare to a hydraulic sit down cabinet in the arcade!

tbh unless somebody ports planet harriers, I'll just stick to the sega ages m2 port on my switch. it still holds up so well, an absolute belter

@GirlVersusGame sadly no, you can't buy it direct from lego, you need to spend £135 on other things then they gift it to you. Sold out on PS store.

I just wandered around white orchard. Loads of the NPC just standing still, and 2 people merged together / occupying the same space very buggy

only had a quick look (base ps5). two takeaways - 1. it al looks so bright and in many ways I prefer how it looked before. 2. the new skill tree is a lot to mull over, I have 61 points to reallocate (end game save, ready for the new expansion), and I'm baffled

buying digitally so no need to preorder this, or anything!

But I'll definitely download it tomorrow, just to have a quick look in on the shiny new graphics, and chin scratch on the new perk system / skill tree

Is there any indication yet of when in 2027 the new expansion is going to release? So many games to play right now, but would be great to try and squeeze in a full play through that leads into the expansion...

the wonder boy trilogy on the master system was my awakening, despite playing countless spectrum games prior... still saddens me how that series was abandoned. thrilled to have all the WB games on my switch 2 via a similar collection.

Can't wait, though I'm going for Zelda OOT day 1, then straight into GTA VI, so won't be able to get round to Geralt until the new year...

the remake was always due to come out after W4, but this just sounds like it'll be a longer wait than originally planned

Being older than many / most on here, and growing up with 18 - 20 fps gaming, I find it hilarious how some 'just can't play 30 fps'. Obviously something wrong with my eyes.

I do enjoy Starfield, but the club scene in this demo, compared to the 'nightclub' in Neon, is a rather hilarious contrast haha!

@Redefaul where has this number come from? I have been digital since I bought a PS5, and buy games when on sale. I'm sure many people do the same.

@JustBusiness I'm not sure. I think casuals will buy what they need to play the latest COD, FIFA, etc. If that eventually becomes an expensive PS6, they will buy it on credit, like their shiny new iPhones.

@Rob_230 agreed. I've said before, but as an older chap, I sold my master system and got a mega drive as there was a big graphical upgrade, and games were never cross platform.
these days, with such marginal gains, so many great games available, often for the price of a pint, there just isn't a strong reason for many people to upgrade.

I'm all digital and the cost isn't a factor. What would stop me buying it is a lack of PS6 exclusive games. I grew up with the Spectrum, graphics on the PS5 still regularly drop my jaw. So I'll only buy it when then are must have games that aren't cross-platform.

@RamboMike I don't know that people are celebrating this, I'm certainly not... but wow, you really do seem quite upset by this - aren't PC games digital only? If you have a PS because you like PS exclusive games, aren't you shooting yourself in the foot here somewhat? regardless, do what makes you happy man...

15,000 to 18,000 games are released on steam a year. quality not relevant to this discussion.
Games get delisted, sure, but you can still download them if you have previously purchased them.
movies, again, not relevant to gaming.

I was saying that it's incredibly rare that a single player offline game gets completely removed from your digital library. I get annoyed by people just parroting 'you own nothing' and 'your games will get taken away at no notice' it's so rare this ever actually happens.

not looking for a fight here, my music and film collections are all physical, but I just don't see the real evidence for offline single player games being removed from peoples libraries, and if it does happen, it's 1 in 10,000 levels.
