I've been XBOX since the 360 but picked up a PS5 recently for all the PS4/5 exclusives I've missed out on. XBOX games I'd double dip on would include Starfield, Forza Horizon (tricky with car licensing), Gears 1-3, Halo MCC, and in the future, Fable, Perfect Dark, Gears E-day, etc, all seem likely for PS anyway. Wouldn't buy them again, but the two Ori games are fantastic also.

nope, only picked up a stock PS5 for the first time 2 weeks ago!

Grew up with Sega, loved VF2 on my Saturn, though Sega Rally is the one that I want to see back... but I think Nintendo is just about the only games company that still delivers. Bethesda, BioWare, Sega etc, are the same companies in name only. The Sega AM2 that I loved growing up is long gone

I've watched lots of reviews on this, as it's the genre I tend to like, and it just seems crazy how far apart so many professional game-reviewers are with their opinions.

After Witcher 3 - which I only played recently - this does seem quite tame / childish for my tastes, maybe I'm just too old for what the developers were going for.

Just picked up a PS5, first PS since the PS2. £340 and loads of first party games to catch up on. Good time for me to buy a PS!

Finished up Shattered Space on the XSX yesterday... going to play more / finish up on Astro's Playroom later on my new PS5

@Dodoo if they do I'd imagine it would have to be the current game, as with licensing in car games, older games get delisted regularly?

I love my Series X, it'll still be my main console, but I do worry about all the money I've spent on a digital library moving forward!!

Also, love the avatar, Sega Rally one of my all time fave games, all I played on my Saturn in the mid 90's!!

@MrPeanutbutterz I've not gone this far as I still have 30 or so games to play on my XBOX (yes folks, some XBOX owners still buy their games)... but it did push me to buying a PS5!

@carlos82 I just don't understand XBOX and their decisions. I'm as loyal an XBOX owner as there is, without being a console warrior. I built up my library on the platform, but don't understand why you would make your exclusives multi-platform... Having exclusives is the reason I also own a Switch, and the sole reason I bought a PS5 last week, to play God of War, etc etc.

Surely if XBOX announced that they would keep more of these games moving forwards and the huge slate of games they have in development as exclusives, and actually done some advertising, they could have shifted some consoles?

But what do I know.

It better not, haha! I have built up my digital library on Xbox for years, but just bought a PS5 last week to finally play God of War, etc, but Helldivers 2 was the game I really wanted to experience!

Jokes aside, I think big online games like this, Sea of Thieves, etc, should be on all systems where possible. Xbox having Halo, PS having Last of Us, etc, makes sense, gives the consoles an identity, but the more people playing these big online games, surely the better?

@Mostik as somebody who owns all 3 consoles, I think it was more the timing and the nature of the announcement, as opposed to it being on PS5... very tone deaf announcement from MS

Scarily, it's no more/less recent than when Black Ops 1 included the Vietnam conflict!
