I preordered it but asked for, and got, a refund this morning after checking out the reviews. For me it’s not worth it full price. I plan to play it in the future but for a game this short and linear I’m sure we will see “cheap” used copies soon enough next year.
Beside the technical problems of the game, making a Batman game a loot game is ridiculous just as much as it was for also trying to make Ghost Recon one
The world need a new Silent Hill and if we get a remake of the quality of RE2 for Silent Hill 2, it’s going to be amazing. We are already getting the RE4 and Dead Space remakes plus a new Alone in the Dark and Callisto Protocol. Great times for survival horror fans
@DrClayman that's the point, if an unlocked mode can run the game at a 45-60 range then VRR would run the game at an almost stable 60fps. Only them know right now at what the game can run unlocked. Look at Elden Ring, no next gen versions run at a steady 60FPS (beside running the PS4 PRO version on PS5) but VRR helps a lot to smooth out the framerate. It's not perfect but at least you have a choice.
That’s good because it means that if the game is great I’ll go through it multiple times. Huge games like assassin’s creed are too long and exhausting for a second playthrough.
If you like the original then go ahead I’m sure you’ll like it. Remastered are powered by nostalgia anyway, and nostalgia forgives a lot of things. Plus I think the review on purexbox is more fair in that sense
Man I don’t care about all this crap, I just want a back buttons on the standard dual sense but Sony is too greedy to let third party controllers on the PS5
@Ragdoll72 really? I hated it. Too big and the paddles were too sensitive. I much prefer Collective Mind attachments for ps4, xbone and series x, plus it has 4 buttons. Sadly they don’t have one for the dual sense but I did get the mod kit on amazon and it works perfectly
Man, I’m so disappointed that the first story dlc is a damn battle arena. I never care about those kind of expensions and find them so boring, even with a story. The good thing is that it’s pretty cheap
They won’t raise it but they will ajust the price of the PSVR2 and PS5 “PRO” accordingly though. But again, in Canada the PS5 is already more expensive since launch even though the two next gen consoles are the same price in the US so I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up jacking it anyway.
All this video does is confirming that, at full next gen price, it is just a gorgeous cash grab. I was waiting to see how the combat was going to evolve because I loved it in part 2 but meh.
Last of Us is a game that gives you an amazing first playthrough but after that you realize how bad the pacing is on NG+. When it will come to ps+ extra I might give it a try but that’s about it.
Unless the “new” combat drastically changes how you can approach things, it is a full next gen price ripoff. Same great game with the same ***** pacing
I have a love/hate relationship with rogue games. I hate when death is part of the progression of the game/character and the grind that comes with it so I hate most rogue games BUT Returnal and Deathloop are my two favorite games of 2021 so it really depends. I’ll give the game another chance this summer.
@marty8370 where did I say it was? I said if these monitors/tvs are not oled or qd oled then they will be simple lcd screen. Where in that sentence do I say that an oled or qd oled is a lcd
Those TVs are always crap. It's just promotion. Philips had one last year developed with the aid of Microsoft for a perfect tv to play the XSX on and it was *****. Unless it's an OLED and QD OLED it will only be an average lcd tv with the Sony taxe on top
I've been buying third party games on the XSX over PS5 to be able to play with any controller I want. If Sony would at least let me play PS5 games with a dualshock 4 with my Collective Mind back buttons attachment I'd would buy more games on PS5. Thank god I chose to play the PS4 Pro version of Elden Ring on my PS5 and could play with back buttons making the game so much more enjoyable
Well, this was disappointing. Pretty much all the free content in Valhalla was forgettable. They are forcing this Rogue-Lite bs once again in a game where it does not belong. It sucked in FC6, it will suck in Valhalla. Nobody is asking for this. Players want real story content for AC
IF Ubi+ works as the same as on the PC meaning you get day one releases and the ultimate edition the games then yes I’ll upgrade to the “extra” tier. If not and if Sony doesn’t get day one third party and indie games like on gamepass then this has zero value for me
Is it even worth reacting at this point? What's funny is that by calling it anything else than RE this show would not even have been picked up. They are doing the same thing in comics, nobody gives a ***** about a new characters but change a known one and you make the news. It's all about the clicks and twitter points. It's PR and if you don't like it then you're a bigot, no grey area. The don't give a ***** about the IP. We've seen it again and again. Curiosity brings viewership, sure, doesn't mean it's good.
It is a masterpiece for the genre. I absolutely loved it. I also love everything Dishonored. These games prove that you don’t need an open world to have freedom, just great stage design.
Ok no first party day one, fine but if they don't have any day one indie and third party games like they did with Shadow Warrior then this is 100% pointless because the service won't save me any money like gamepass does.
I'm in Canada and only three months into 2022 gamepass has already gave me 200$ (before any taxes) worth of games that I'd have bought day one or close to. Add to that Sniper Elite 5, Atomic Heart, Starfield, Plague Tale: Requiem, Trek To Yomi, Stalker 2, all day one GP releases and the value is just insane.
If what Sony has to compete with that are old gen games and demos then no thanks
I’ve learned that Fromsofware games are not for me….twice. I love open world games not for the stories but for the exploration and that damn map looks so good but at the same time I’m watching streams and remember why I should not touch this
I won’t even answer this question because its relative to the kind of games you’re playing. I love open world games like AC, Fallout, Skyrim etc because of the exploration of the map and I don’t want a map that takes only 30 hours to explore but if I’m playing a game like Control I don’t want a 40+ hours game. The new DL2 game is a game where you choices change the world around you (at least this is what they say) so if a full playthrough is around 80 hours like the first one and you have 3 or 4 bigs choices that force you to have multiple playthroughs then yes I can see something close to 500 hours.
Crazy thought, a release date for Little Devil Inside....I know it's too much to ask. If it focuses on Horizon then its wasted time. Once I know I'm getting a game I stop watching trailers, just like movies.
Deathloop is my #1 and Returnal my #2 of the year and ironically, I hate games with rogue like concept lol so you know those two games did something amazing for me to love them this much
Best setting of the last three games.
Loved Bayek and the two bows gimmick.
Odyssey may be the best overall but it’s still my favorite and the “shortest”.
I’d gladly replay a NG+ at 60fps

Re: River City Girls 2 Flexes on PS5, PS4 from 15th December
40$ US, lol it’s going to be a 60$ plus taxes game in Canada. Looks like it will go in the wishlist until a 50% sale down the line
Re: Poll: Did You Buy The Callisto Protocol?

Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for November 2022 Announced
Some good games but worthless for me again this month
Re: Poll: Will You Pay the PSVR2 Launch Price?
it's 750Can before taxes so NO. It should be 699$ but Sony decided to screw us again after selling the PS5 higher than the XsX at launch
