So 60fps on Pro? If so I’m there.
I have GP and was waiting for a possible 60fps patch down the road before playing it. This might just be it but on Playstation🤣🤣

For the technical side of things, 10/10.
For the story and pacing, 7/10
So a solid 8.5 for me

Day one purchase no more then. Another reason why we need a Pro model asap

This game deserves all the success of Marvel’s Avengers

The campaign was great but, except for the fire cult missions, the side contents was just bad compared with other open world games and with some really cringe dialogues.
I haven’t even played BG3 but I’ve seen enough of it on streams to know it’s objectively goty 2023.

I’ve seen fps video of the game and pop ins are certainly not the only performance issues. The framerate can go in the 40s during combat, that’s not good

How do we have a 10 without any word on how it runs? Does it hold the 60fps in performance mode? If not, does it go outside the PS5 VRR window? Question like these should have answers in the review of a game getting a perfect score.

Well, this is an easy hard pass. I hope they are making another Ghost Recon

I’ll be getting because:
1-I only bought 3 games on disc since the launch (and 3 on xbox) so it really is not a “necessity” for me to have a disc reader
2-the only place where I was able to rent games just stop doing so
3-My friend wants to buy my PS5 so I won’t be paying full price for the new one

But I’m not stressed if I can’t get one on launch day.

I bought it on xbox because it was easier to play with a controller with back buttons than on PS5. But on xbox since 1.06 there is some kind of flickering on reflective surfaces that happens from time to time. Quite annoying at night

I wanted to love this game but the combat was really bad. Did not go back to it since the major update on Xbox. Too many great games right now to even entertain the idea of playing this game again

@Bamila absolutely too much money. I have both an Elite and the Edge. Amazing controllers but I got my Elite used and Edge with gift cards I got for my birthday this year. No way I was going to pay full price for those. I prefer to buy back buttons adapters for the base controller because of all features this is the one that matters the most for me

Like inverted Y axis, all games should have an ajustable deadzone option.

I just might drop to silver if it still exists. I don’t really play online. I’m on the extra tier right now and the only new game that I got was Stray so it’s really not for me vs gamepass. For new player it is pretty fantastic though

Tried it but I just can’t play walking simulators. They just bire me to death. But I did grab some amazing screenshots that I use as wallpapers on my Series X

Day one buy. LOVE the last two games. I’m not even going to play it at launch but these guys deserve full price for their games. I have that much faith in them

The thing is, those outfits are often so over the top that they breaks the immersion so I’m not even slightly tempted to buy them

The fact that, at this price, it doesn’t have 4 back buttons/paddles is absurd. I’ll continue to buy the kits found on Amazon

@LiamCroft still afraid it will be another badly optimized game. But if it is the case since it’s also on PS4 I might just do what I and many others did for Elden Ring and play the PS4 PRO version on PS5 for a locked framerate. We’ll see.

How did it run? Did you play on a PS5?

@Member_the_game I’m the opposite. I have Extra and I see no value in it because I’ve already played every good games they put on it but on the other hand GP gives me new day one games (and to make it fair I’m not even talking about first party here) throughout the year that surpass the cost of one year subscription in value. So it’s not even close for me. But for new players Extra is amazing.

@LifeGirl well they don’t because they don’t have to but if tomorrow Microsoft had the lead that Sony has in consoles sells they would rethink it I’m pretty sure. But like I said in my comment the exclusives that I play are so top tier that they are worth every dollars but having both consoles, I can also say that gamepass saves me a bunch of money every year so there’s that

I’m ok with that since their exclusives (the ones I buy anyway) are top tier in quality but what gamepass does best is often having day one releases of smaller titles. Playstation did it with Stray but not much else and since I already played all the big older games they add, paying for extra is pretty pointless for me but it is an amazing value for new players.

The Heroine looks very bland but since it's an open world UBI game I'm certain we'll get a bunch of cool looking outfits so I'm not to worry. I'm in hope there is a performance mode because this demo was 60fps but wasn't on PS5

I loved their two last games so much. Can’t wait for this one

Meh, there are maybe 2 or 3 I see myself using from the Deluxe edition but the two preorder ones are badass

IF I was interested by Dragon's Dogma 2 it would be it. It was a great GAMEPLAY reveal trailer but it is just not for me but so Spider-Man all the way. What sucks is that we didn't get a long, in game engine, Kojima style trailer for MGS3.
With today's graphics CG trailers should not exist anymore. If you don't have enough decent gameplay footage of your game to show then it just isn't ready to be announced

IF you are new to PS4/PS5 it is pretty awesome I guess but if you keep up with releases and have been gaming with these generations of consoles since day one it’s awful.
I love Gamepass because they have day one releases and I’m not taking about first party here. They have awesome third party indy releases. GP pays for it self every year. Ps Extra gave me Stray, that’s it
