Can definitely recommend Transformers Devastation if you're waiting for crazy platinum action on PS4, however, I could almost fully recommend a Wii U for Bayonetta 2 alone. I'm excited for this game. Kinda hoping Scalebound manages not to be great, otherwise I'll have to find a way to justify an Xbox One!
Played some Triforce Heroes with the partner and her brother, knee my 3ds collection would become useful! Great laugh in a group. Want to complete my first ever run through of Uncharted 1 tomorrow... Fun game, so glad I've heard the others are better though!
@JaxonH Yeah I did like using Marth (haven't played since I got Ike). Yeah, it will take a long time till they can beat Bayo 2, looking back, could be my favourite Wii U game (and that is saying something).. I really need to run through it again (having to explain to the girlfriend her 'clothing' was always a challenge mind). On topic though... I can't believe people can ever moan about not having anything to play (as we know many do!) the array of games atm is awesome... Maybe we aren't so picky eh?
@JaxonH Woolly World is great... Captain Falcon Yoshi clearly the best. Just finished an almost 8 hour session of Transformers. Great game... My hands are destroyed now!
Transformers Devastation. Such a good game, doing a hard mode run now (commander). May start Uncharted tomorrow. Would like to complete that by Fallout time... But with Project Zero coming out, it's clearly a pipe dream! Damn silly season.
Anything by Platinum has my attention. I haven't played many of there's but I find their games so satisfying... Except W101; I couldn't draw the right shapes, it angered me... I forgive them though as it was one of many free games I got from the MK8 promo!
@Gamer83 Cheers, yeah think I'll go ahead on that, played the last of us at that level and enjoyed it, didn't have to replay more than a few times but kept it fresh and me on my toes. After playing a lot a Splatoon recently it's made using dual analogue feel slow (that's mostly just my bad reaction skills though!)... However, had a great time with MGSV (up until spoiler... not being able to get a certain someone back). Really am looking forward to playing through uncharted, however, the sheer brilliance of control smashing Platinum gaming has me hooked atm!
Completely agree. I have downloaded The Witcher 3 and I realise I'm gonna have to put a quiet month aside next year to play it, being too many games I want, I find it's the long ones that suffer. Did manage to complete MGSV mind. @get2sammyb Whilst on the subject, I have Uncharted waiting to play (playing transformers atm) and when I play it I want the most enjoyable experience... What level do you (or anyone here) recommend playing it at? I've read plenty about bad gun play and bullet sponges so while I enjoy a challenge is it the case that this game is more fun at a lower level, or could that make it boring?
Got Transformers and Uncharted waiting for me at home... But I'm down at the (soon to be) in laws, so it's strictly 3DS, which means finishing up my first run through in probably 18 years of Sonic 2 in beautiful stereoscopic 3D. Do hope to crack out transformers when I get home late tomorrow.
Glad I got this waiting at home along with uncharted (I hope it's been delivered today anyway!). Actually like the fact it's short, I can never replay long games and an used to it after Bayonetta. I've got plenty of 50+ epics I'll never see the credits for!
@Folderoll Rakuten had 10% off and had an anniversary bonus where you get 25% back in points, games were ÂŁ70 with discount and Ive roughly got ÂŁ20 to spend on my next purchase. Offer has sadly finished now though.
Excited for this. I was never a huge Transformers fan but the fact this looks like a TVs show is awesome. Plus after Bayonetta 2, Platinum have a fan in me!
Got this in the recent PSN sale (the whole game), love what I've played so far, but think I'm playing it wrong as I'm treating it more like a card game with optional questing... Damn Gwent is fun! Problem is I have no money for food and armour as I just spend all my money on cards. It's like 1999 all over again!
Once patched up and cheap on PSN I might consider this. Was a huge fan of the first 3 games. Activision get my money for the first time in years next week with Transformers... Please be good!!
I've just started The Witcher 3... Let's see how far I get, glad I have as a download as I may have to treat it as a gap filling game, too many coming up to count. I'm excited for Transformers, I blagged a cheap preorder and putting all my Bayonetta 2 loving faith in Platinum... It can't be bad, can it?!
Just completed all missions in MGSV this morning so feel like I need a break from that now (I'll mop up remaining side ops if I get the courage!). Need to give some attention to Tearaway before the heavy October onslaught commeth!
Plugging away at MGSV for what will likely be another 3 weeks at least, that and Mario maker. Really want to pick up Tearaway again (started it last week), but Fultoning has become my vice!
I want this, but can wait as there's plenty of time sinks between now and then. #FE will be out next year as well so that'll be my early Atlus fill if it makes the early 16 window (and it drops the hashtag... Don't think I can get a game with a hashtag...)
Considering I bought this with little care for the online play, it's a happy bonus. Loving the main game and glad the microtransactions aren't intrusive... Guessing that may change with the online though!
@Dodoo Haha yeah I am, I've actually got the console, about July time, so missed a number of good games to catch up on... Never really played much in the last gen so I got so much to catch up on (lost the patience and I got caught in the FIFA loop for years!). I want to play the uncharted collection before 4 comes out, I'm very tempted to buy Witcher as a download in the current deal (massive game like that I'll more likely complete as a DL), playing through MGSV and I play most Nintendo games (thankfully bar Xenoblade there isn't many long ones due out!!). If only I didn't have a job, I might get through them all!
@Dodoo Yeah I think it's now a matter of when I buy tbh, I think I'll wait until the quiet period early next year, well that is until they do some discount and I go all in straight away! I'm not a bad gamer (but nowhere near great!) and I'm more determined than I used to be, so I'll catch a good sale and be on it!
@SteveButler2210 Completely agree, surely that would be the most interesting part and appeal of such a setting! To lock seems ridiculous. Haven't played an AC since the PS2 so can't really comment much on the series, but this seems new levels of content locking!
Intrigued about both Gravity Rush games and if the Bloodborne dlc and main game are a good price I may bite. Have been put off by how hard it might be, but I'm feeling brave!
Looking forward to this as after play the last of us I feel I need to give uncharted a try. Might have to wait till the new year mind, busy, expensive time!
Well I've been enjoying it, it's a nice break inbetween MGSV and Mario Maker (a game i feel is in desperate need of quality rising to the top!). It is a shame that the market here is otherwise so stagnant away from 'realistic' games, but that's a lifetime rant.
@Gamer83 Yeah I'll definitely have to give it a shot, it'll fill up the inevitable drought! I still pick up and replay N64/Cube games, so I'm used to aged games anyway!
@Gamer83 Yeah as a 3DS fan it's the one portable game I was jealous of not having, not enough 3D platformers; so far, so fun. Though I'm seemingly gravitating towards MGSV constantly, still only 22% but it's great fun, I constantly find myself mopping up side ops... And trying to explain Quiet's 'skin condition' as an excuse for why she doesn't wear clothes to the missus... It's tougher than playing Bayonetta in front of her! October/November gets even worse with big games as I never played Uncharted and as I enjoyed TLOUR I feel I have to give it a chance, maybe I'll wait till February and rinse the collection pre4. Also... The Witcher is on sale and I'm tempted as I got some cheap PSN Cash. Think I need to ban myself!
@sub12 @themcnoisy Yeah the hype train goes at a very slow pace these days, stopping at every local station along the way... And only one person gets on, very slowly.
I can happily wait till 2016 for this. Only played Q, but that got me intrigued in the series so will start proper on this, though as an inevitable time sink in happy for it to come out in a less congested time. Xenoblade X will have to feed the jrpg gap for me this year.

Re: Round Up: Need for Speed PS4 Reviews Apply the Hand Brake
Not on my radar this year. Bring back Burnout, old school style, then I'll get back in a car!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 91
Time away at the parents so the height of my gameplay will be Lara Croft Go and maybe a bit of Triforce.
Re: Your Free PS4 PlayStation Plus Games for November Include Magicka 2, The Walking Dead
Pretty happy with the PS3 options. Didn't game much in that era (but had a PS3) so I never played those games.
Re: Insane PS4 Sales Power Sony to Profitability
Great figures! At least the Wii U has just broken the dreaded Dreamcast figure.

Re: Rocket League Changes the Game with Mutators and Ice Hockey
Great support on a great game.
Re: Paris Games Week 2015: Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Resolution Takes a Hit to Reach 60 FPS
Agree that I wish they'd go for 60fps single as well, much prefer that over high res. Be nice if they could give us the option.
Re: Guide: What Time Is Sony's Paris Games Week Press Conference?
I'm seeing Spectre then! Will be on here straight after!
Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn Will Have an Incredibly Rich Story, Says Guerrilla Games
So glad I've avoided Ubisoft open worlds for years, I'll be able to jump into this open-minded if it is a liberate-em-up.

Intrigued... But not a clue what this could be?!

Re: How Many Hours Until Dawn 2 Is Announced for PS4?
Haha at 6am that title took a while to get my head around! Anyway, gonna do my second run through with the fiancée on Halloween; loved the first run. That and Project Zero 5: ridiculous expensive edition are my 'holiday' titles.

Always a fan of framerate over res. Switching between Witcher and MGSV, it's night and day to me.
Re: Yoshida: PlayStation VR Is Not Another PS Move, 3D TV
I'll remain skeptical. Last Sony device I jumped into was the Walkman MiniDisc, still smarting on that front... Damn you MP3!
