Re: PS4 Exclusive NieR Automata Looks Freakin' Rad

Can definitely recommend Transformers Devastation if you're waiting for crazy platinum action on PS4, however, I could almost fully recommend a Wii U for Bayonetta 2 alone. I'm excited for this game. Kinda hoping Scalebound manages not to be great, otherwise I'll have to find a way to justify an Xbox One!

@JaxonH Yeah I did like using Marth (haven't played since I got Ike).
Yeah, it will take a long time till they can beat Bayo 2, looking back, could be my favourite Wii U game (and that is saying something).. I really need to run through it again (having to explain to the girlfriend her 'clothing' was always a challenge mind).
On topic though... I can't believe people can ever moan about not having anything to play (as we know many do!) the array of games atm is awesome... Maybe we aren't so picky eh?

@Gamer83 Cheers, yeah think I'll go ahead on that, played the last of us at that level and enjoyed it, didn't have to replay more than a few times but kept it fresh and me on my toes. After playing a lot a Splatoon recently it's made using dual analogue feel slow (that's mostly just my bad reaction skills though!)... However, had a great time with MGSV (up until spoiler... not being able to get a certain someone back). Really am looking forward to playing through uncharted, however, the sheer brilliance of control smashing Platinum gaming has me hooked atm!

Completely agree. I have downloaded The Witcher 3 and I realise I'm gonna have to put a quiet month aside next year to play it, being too many games I want, I find it's the long ones that suffer. Did manage to complete MGSV mind.
@get2sammyb Whilst on the subject, I have Uncharted waiting to play (playing transformers atm) and when I play it I want the most enjoyable experience... What level do you (or anyone here) recommend playing it at? I've read plenty about bad gun play and bullet sponges so while I enjoy a challenge is it the case that this game is more fun at a lower level, or could that make it boring?

Got Transformers and Uncharted waiting for me at home... But I'm down at the (soon to be) in laws, so it's strictly 3DS, which means finishing up my first run through in probably 18 years of Sonic 2 in beautiful stereoscopic 3D. Do hope to crack out transformers when I get home late tomorrow.

Re: Review: Transformers: Devastation (PS4)

Glad I got this waiting at home along with uncharted (I hope it's been delivered today anyway!). Actually like the fact it's short, I can never replay long games and an used to it after Bayonetta. I've got plenty of 50+ epics I'll never see the credits for!

@Folderoll Rakuten had 10% off and had an anniversary bonus where you get 25% back in points, games were ÂŁ70 with discount and Ive roughly got ÂŁ20 to spend on my next purchase. Offer has sadly finished now though.

I've just started The Witcher 3... Let's see how far I get, glad I have as a download as I may have to treat it as a gap filling game, too many coming up to count. I'm excited for Transformers, I blagged a cheap preorder and putting all my Bayonetta 2 loving faith in Platinum... It can't be bad, can it?!

Re: Talking Point: What Did You Think of Sony's Pre-TGS Press Conference?

BrizzoUK

@Dodoo Haha yeah I am, I've actually got the console, about July time, so missed a number of good games to catch up on... Never really played much in the last gen so I got so much to catch up on (lost the patience and I got caught in the FIFA loop for years!). I want to play the uncharted collection before 4 comes out, I'm very tempted to buy Witcher as a download in the current deal (massive game like that I'll more likely complete as a DL), playing through MGSV and I play most Nintendo games (thankfully bar Xenoblade there isn't many long ones due out!!). If only I didn't have a job, I might get through them all!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 84

@Gamer83 Yeah as a 3DS fan it's the one portable game I was jealous of not having, not enough 3D platformers; so far, so fun. Though I'm seemingly gravitating towards MGSV constantly, still only 22% but it's great fun, I constantly find myself mopping up side ops... And trying to explain Quiet's 'skin condition' as an excuse for why she doesn't wear clothes to the missus... It's tougher than playing Bayonetta in front of her! October/November gets even worse with big games as I never played Uncharted and as I enjoyed TLOUR I feel I have to give it a chance, maybe I'll wait till February and rinse the collection pre4. Also... The Witcher is on sale and I'm tempted as I got some cheap PSN Cash. Think I need to ban myself!

I can happily wait till 2016 for this. Only played Q, but that got me intrigued in the series so will start proper on this, though as an inevitable time sink in happy for it to come out in a less congested time. Xenoblade X will have to feed the jrpg gap for me this year.
