Okay, we know that we're a little bit late with this week's edition of WAYP – but your humble host has reserved this weekend to finish setting up his new computer. Fortunately, the task has now been completed, which means that normal service can resume. It's time to talk about all of the games that we'll be playing this weekend, then.

I'll be touring Victorian London in a certain open world sequel that's due out imminently on the PlayStation 4. I can't really delve into specifics just yet, but look out for a full review soon.

After what feels like an eternity of playing nothing but colourful Japanese titles, it' time to get gritty and head back to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I've enjoyed my time with Dragon Quest Heroes: This Title Is Far Too Long to Write Here and Tales of Zestiria, but Geralt's newest adventure is calling. As long as my Witcher skills haven't gone to rust, we should hopefully have a review of Hearts of Stone for you lot very soon.

With the gaming silly season just around the corner, this weekend presents a chance to polish off those odd games that I'm yet to finish – despite kicking them off months ago! With Until Dawn, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt all in various states of completion, I don't think that I've got a chance of finishing them all, but I'm going to have fun trying.

This weekend, time is of the essence as I do some last minute cosplay crafting for Comic-Con next week. In between stabbing myself in the thumb repeatedly with a needle, I'll be giving myself a break with something light hearted – provided my thumbs still work. What better title to turn off my brain than Hatoful Boyfriend? Call it the peak of my dating sim obsession, but it seems like the perfect game to play for some silly fun.

After a splendid vacation in D.C. (subtracting the horrifying drivers and traffic), I've got two papers to write for my English classes before Sunday. To break up the monotony, I plan to finally start investing in Alien: Isolation and Amnesia: The Dark Descent. They might be 2spooky4me, but I'm ready to brave the Xenomorphs and Gatherers as Hallowe'en quickly approaches!

I've picked up LittleBigPlanet 3 in the PlayStation Store sale, so I'll be running through the campaign of that, being guided by the almost-too-English voices of Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. If I can get some time in to play Rock Band 4, then that'll be a win too!

By the time that you all read this I will be in Portland, Oregon at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo. This is my first time and I am so excited. I don't know what I will be playing, but with a free play arcade room and another room full of every console that you can think of, I am sure I will be in gaming heaven.

And that's all from us, folks – but we still want to know what's rustling your jimmies in the comments section. You know the drill, so join the action down below.
