In a move that even the lousiest psychic in the world could have predicted, Ubisoft today announced at Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference that Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be receiving downloadable content.
The DLC in question is somehow related to Jack the Ripper, however it's unclear whether you'll play as the prolific murderer himself, or attempt to hunt him down. At any rate, the expansion will come packed with the title's season pass.

Hahahaha wow. So they've taken a Ripper storyline, one of the biggest selling points of having an AC game set in Victorian times, and locked it behind a pay wall. No surprise really.
Oh well, after being so disappointed by AC Unity, they will need to create something really amazing to get me interested again. Keeping an eye on this, but will wait for the reviews to roll in before I even consider putting any money down...
Syndicate can go and do one.
Im looking forward to it. Enjoyed Unity. Wont be a day one this time around though
@SteveButler2210 Completely agree, surely that would be the most interesting part and appeal of such a setting! To lock seems ridiculous. Haven't played an AC since the PS2 so can't really comment much on the series, but this seems new levels of content locking!
Seriously, the 3 most iconic characters of Victorian England (Darwin, Ripper and Dickens) and they make them all DLC. This game literally has nothing in it that makes it relevant to its time except for cockney accents
Caw blimey guvna, cue the awful accents ,apples and pears, will wait til release before I av a butchers hook at this game.
I'll bargain bin this one day.
