This is one of the ugliest devices I ever seen.

This was pathetic. They should be embarrassed to show this thing because nobody can figure out what the heck is this.

In five years we'll get about 10 releases and 6 of those will be life service games and only 4 are single player. This give us less than one single player game per year and it is very bad news for me.

My wildest prediction is some new information/trailer of the Elden Ring DLC.

If it is anything but a life service game I'll support. I really enjoy Days Gone and even replay a few times.

I just wish for a new Red Dead title instead.

Ps1 oppening is iconic and is was like a gate to a new era for me. It was a bit inspired by the classic oppening of SEGA games in the Megadrive in my opinion and it was very cool at that time.

I wonder how cool a killzone spinoff in third person view and with RPG elements would be.

For me, consoles are just machines and games are art. We are all here playing and discussing our favorite games because they are important to us; thus, we buy consoles to play these great games.
These comments are really sad comming from a leader since they cause discouragement for his team.
Also his logic is broken because Xbox does not need to win a console war; instead, the company just needs to deliver decent games to 21 miliion people that purchased their consoles in this generation.
I never had an Xbox and never will have one; however, even being a Playstation user since the PS one I feel that Sony needs a competitor to be on their toes.

I want more details of the gameplay; however, it seems to be a third person shooter like the other games but with improved cameras and amazing bosses. This actually looks pretty good and From software never disappoints. I'm looking forward for this game.

I'll rather want Sony to have purchased this studio than that Firewalk because Horizon Chase Turbo was a legit and unique experience. Fortnite is trash.

Nobody wants more multiplayers. In addition, they are failing one after another and closing servers. Sony then go and invest lots of money in a studio that never released a single game to make a multiplayer. This is nonsense. Why not invest in Square-Enix, Level-5 or any other talented creators that can actually bring fresh single player experiences?

What is really unfair in this situation is that they are calling out Sony for buying timed exclusivity in some games while all indicate that microsoft/xbox is buying politicians in their own country. What is worse for society?

This shows how confident Square-Enix and Sony are about the game. I'll see nothing more because I was never so hyped for a game since Elden Ring.

I pre-ordered the game and do not want to watch; however, I was weak and it was the most entertaining thing I watch this year. This game is simply superb.

For me, if developers and Sony are so eager to show this much of the game, it indicates that the game is much bigger than some people are thinking. From the story, sidequests and exploration this is certainly a welcoming huge title.
I really wish to avoid watching the SoP tomorrow but it is stronger than me.

I pre-ordered the game. I don't want to watch this State of Play because I really want a fresh experience; however, I'll not resist.

The gambit system is the best non-action battle system in FF. It was ahead of its time and many people could not enjoy bu it was actually very fun. I like the praise the developer give for this and the FF Rebirth will be a mandatory day one for me.

I hope for a FFXIII remaster collection (all three games) for PS5. Square-Enix could at least consider remaking FFXI as
a FFIX expansion.

@XenonKnight This can indeed be an outcome. Xbox have not much to offer and gamepass is a rent system since players can not collect the games digitally and it is not as cheap as some people convince themselves.

This is pathetic. The playstation community will not abandon the platform because of CoD. Sony should move on and show the roadmap for PS5.

This is meaningless. Everyone will have a different perception of the term "retro". It is almost as difficult to define as "vintage" or "classic". These definitions depend on our personal experiences and connections with these systems. Thus, we are all correct.

Tails of iron is a hidden gem. I have a physical copy. This game is highly recommended if you like metroidvanias. I do not care for those two other games though.

I think it is plausible since there will be a Xbox showcase in June 11. Now that the Activision deal is almost certain, Sony needs any movement to address the lack of information about future PS5 games. In addition, Sony needs to promote Spiderman 2 that will release this year and we know nothing about gameplay, story and art style. I'm looking forward to this event.

The game looks like a first party game because it probably is. For me, Sony and Square are too close to not have a deeper connection. These companies must have already merged in some degree.

So, basically MS is paying politicians to pressure the US government to interfere in a market from a different country based in a delusional monopoly from Sony. Cringe.

Have no idea who she is, but FF IX deserves all praise and a remake would be nice. Vivi is the best FF character ever.

We have enough RE remakes for now, I'll rather would like to have a remake of the first Breath of Fire. Capcom could return to RE remakes later. Another game that is overlooked and is really amazing for a remake is the arcade classic Black Dragon; it's perfect for an action RPG.

I can't see what's the problem. People just want to complain nowadays. By the way, the music in this part and the dog (animations, design and combat) are amazing.

Worst idea ever. I'll never support a game that was created by AI and any other form of art that was produced using this technology.

One of the few games that are really masterpieces. It was the inspiration to a number of games, and is one of my favorites since PS2. I never have played nothing like that and still not. Every time I see a main character protecting and sharing the screen with another, more fragile one I remember this game. The last of Us, God of war, Resident Evil 4 are just a few examples. It also inspired my favorite developer (From Software) so much. Ico is a must play for any person who likes videogames.

This is a shame. Sylens is my favorite character in Horizon, and a great part of this feeling is related the excellent voice acting. He give us that perfect feeling of a clever villain/antihero that is very hard to deliver. None could did that with Lex Luthor for instance in movies, games or animations. His performance is one of the best I ever see in a videogame. RIP.

The first Fallout game I play was Fallout 4 because of the dog in the trailers. Same for this one.

In fact, Kratos himself stayed in Lindisfarne for some seasons before going north.

@JayJ I only play in Playstation systems because I have no time or money to invest in several consoles; however, I wish all companies to go well so the industry is not damaged. Sometimes I just watch these bad moves and find myself thinking about the consequences. I just can not figure out what Sony will gain with this mess.

@JayJ That's exactly my point. There a number of bad scenarios for Sony, for instance:
1) If the deal is blocked Microsoft can just pay millions to put Call of Duty (and other Activision games) day one in the game pass, also with exclusive content.
2) These 69 billion can be use to purchase a number of other studios, including important ones and even talented people or smaller companies. This may also reduce the number of games coming for Playstation.
3) Activision can sign exclusivity deals with Microsoft even being a independent publisher. The worst relatioshipt that will come from this mess certainly will influence in these deals.

I don't care for Call of Duty, tried to play once but it is not my type of game. However, there are other fun IPs from Activision that unfortunately will become absent in Playstation systems. Deal being done or not.

Great game its a 9 for me since it is impossible to not compare to other soulslborne that are 10 (Bloodborne, Elden Ring etc). I support Team Ninja games since the first NIOH. No TN game disappointed me to this date.

If this deal is unlikely blocked, the sabotage can be done by Activision itself.

I am no masochist at all, but love this game.

I played the game a long time ago. I agree that it is a bit slow paced sometimes, that's why so many want a remake with a modern interface and combat system; However, I still love this game.

I pre-ordered the game. It already looks way better than FFXV, I. I can't wait. For me, it looks like a mix of FF references, The Witcher 3, soulsborne games and Devil May Cry. How this can possibly go wrong?
