A good place to start would be investigating how easy trophies are to get. Normally super easy trophies that take 10 minutes to get = slop

Enjoyed the first demo before the update enough to convince me to buy. Although I do recall lack of music in some places made the world feel empty.

This is what happens when you make a game people want to play. The gamers benefit. The studio benefits. The developers benefit.

Meanwhile other studios are misreading the room, making games not enough people want to play, costing too much to make, and the the developers lose their jobs.

Hopefully Kamiya will get someone involvement despite no longer working for Plat, the series is his baby after all

For folks who didnt know, Ueda left to form genDesign (the only reference for the studio name is in the tags, not the article.) When Ueda was finishing off The Last Guardian he was an independent contractor, and not a Sony employee
