You shouldn't need an online connection for the single player. To play devil's advocate, at least the data is on the disc. Someone cracks it? Preservation problem solved

IIRC Friday 13th game died because they could no longer support or sell the game due to IP issues. (New Line were getting sued by the screenplay writer of the first movie.)

I don't actually own O, 1 or 2 physically, so these PS5 ports will be the first time I own the discs.

I picked the games up for £5 each on sale on PSN, so no upgrade path won't bother me, but still bad that there's no upgrade path for those who paid more than I did or who own the media.

Bloodborne 2 will happen one day.
