You may recall that a studio by the name of Wild Sheep was making a game called WiLD, and it was set to be a PS4 exclusive with significant Sony backing.
Unfortunately, that project ultimately failed to make it over the finish line.
However, it seems the team is still going strong, as it's on the verge of launching an entirely different game on PS5.
Published by PQube, Adorable Adventures is due to launch on 30th April, 2026.
This was actually announced a couple of months ago to little fanfare, but given the studio behind it, there might be some interest here for PlayStation fans.

Adorable Adventures has you playing as a young boar named Boris, and your goal is to reunite with his family that became separated by a forest fire.
The game looks like a relaxing exploration adventure in which you use Boris' powerful sense of smell to investigate various natural environments and search for your siblings.
It looks very cute. It isn't quite the same as what WiLD was trying to be, but this new game is still very much concerned with nature and animals, so if you're into that vibe, Adorable Adventures might be worth a look.

That's a hard pass. Maybe my 5 year old may like it.
That’s pretty WiLD.
Glad they survived all that. Was really excited for WiLD back in 2014 but not sure anymore as my tastes in games has somewhat shifted.
This does actually look adorable and will (possibly) be a breath of fresh air.
I'll forever be sad I never got to be a weird shape shifting druid trying to help sexy giant snake ladies do... things!
It looks fun to me. I saw the trailer for it a month or two back and added it to my wishlist.
I'll give it a go when I need a break from the bigger games.
Day One, you can be a pig. I'm sold.
But also if this does well maybe they'll get another chance at sonething a bit more daring and unusual like WiLD was shaping up to be - real shame about that one.
