Re: Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 Confirms Another Year of Free Updates and DLC

@DennisReynolds If even people who love the game are willing to admit that the solo play stinks, it demonstrates that I'm not expressing some outsider opinion. And there are plenty of people being honest about it.
When a dev sells a game as being playable solo but, after release, it becomes obvious that solo play was an afterthought--a crumb for the solitary--that's a lie. They swore up and down that they had no interest in supporting a live service title but here it is; years long multiplayer support. That's live service and it has existed longer than the term.
And seeing as you love being lied to... you know exactly what live service is and aren't simply associating it with "bad."

@DennisReynolds First off, you're the one who brought up a single person's opinion (yours) in order to suggest that I was incorrect about the campaign being crap with AI squadmates. I'm the one who's explaining to you how opinions work. And yes, all those titles are live service which isn't inherently a bad thing. Unless of course the developers swore up and down that they weren't making a live service title. Saber did. That was a lie. If you like being lied to, I'm happy you found a developer who treats you that way.

Re: Poll: Are You Hyped for GTA 6 After Trailer 2?

I'm still scared that all the good writers left and we're going to be left with a substandard story in a world designed for GTA online. But even if that's the case, the sheer amount of money and effort thrown at it suggests that it'll still be better than most games, just not up to par with previous GTA games. Or I could be wrong and this could be the best game yet.

These sound like complaints that I would also have were I to see the show. My city's local orchestra did an evening of video game music where they played everything from Tetris and Zelda all the way up to Megalovania with the full orchestra. It was incredible. Stripped down versions (maybe with a string quartet) could be cool. But this hybrid approach sounds unsatisfying.
