Will finish it in a few months. I got tired of gaining alliances, now I have to gain two or three more. It’s repetitive and didn’t feel rewarding

@Apfelschteiner You’re just gonna have to miss out then. I have a PS5 and I buy the PS4 versions just in case something happens to me PS5, I’ll still have the PS4. Plus I’m not supporting $70 games. Also, it only matters if you care about graphics. So yeah, just get the PS4 version or you’re gonna have to miss out

Seeing the Norse & Greek God of War work together is what has me excited. But maybe you shouldn’t use the word “pegged”

@akaprepare I saw it and it looks amazing! But seeing it and playing it are two different things. Remember how great everyone thought Sonic 06 looked and it turned out to be a bomb? Or Cyberpunk, there are so many examples

@nomither6 Pretty sure you do since it’s clear as day. See, here’s the thing about the word overrated. People tend to use it when something they have doesn’t meet their expectations, yet somehow meets everyone else’s and is successful and will ignore the merit that people find in said object in the hopes of strengthening their own narrative. I’m sure there are incoming “you’re defending Nintendo so hard” comments from many, but I won’t forget The Druckmann defense force, it was strong & I don’t need to provide examples. I didn’t say anyone had a soft spot or nostalgia attachment either.

TLDR: You’re salty, in denial, or both. The Switch is a success for a reason, and it MIGHT overtake the PS2. Just have to deal with it.

@vapidwolf1 mobile phones aren’t dedicated gaming devices. They’re cellular phones that are meant for making phone calls and texts. The Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation are dedicated gaming consoles that prioritize playing video games. What’s so hard to understand?

@nomither6 The console did better than what PlayStation fanboys said it would. I remember the comments from 2017. “Dead on arrival” “the switch will fail miserably” “Wii U 2.0.”. Now it just hit 100 million and fanboys feel the need to move the goalpost because hating Nintendo is the popular thing to do.

Also how is the Switch overrated? People like you think portability is “overrated” or whatever stupid word you want to use because it doesn’t cater to you, but if it’s beneficial to the people who leave home a lot and want to play fun games everywhere then it means something was done right. The Switch is successful for a reason and you have to accept that.

People are really in denial about the Switch selling so well, and they’re even more in denial that the Switch might outsell the PS2. I love to see it

Super glad Metroid Dread won best action-adventure and It Takes Two is the most creative game I’ve seen in a while. I love the couch co-op aspect because a lot of games don’t have that anymore & Josef Fares has a ton of passion and energy.

That said, I wish they would stop showing movie trailers and focus on games.

I mean… I have mixed feelings about the price. $50 for a 10 year old game? I’ll be getting it for $20 because I already own the special edition, but I think it’s kind of *****.

@Ralizah At the rate it’s selling I wouldn’t be surprised if it surpassed the PS2. And the handful of titles coming to it next year looks like a repeat of 2017. It doesn’t have the big titles Xbox and PlayStation has, but the hybrid factor sold a lot better than expected.

I get the feeling Sony releasing their games on PC will slow down sales because PC has mods and free online above other things. I’m keeping my PS5 and PS4 regardless, but it just seems likely.

What matters to me is the price because if they’re charging less for PC players then they’re just killing reasons to buy a PlayStation.

There aren’t many games that I would consider GOTY material this year.

Good enough. I’ve enjoyed their games more than any first party crap Sony has put out since the PS4.

@doctommaso It’s good that you do! I’m just saying that whenever Sony gets recognized or receives an accolade for something it’s always fair game, but if Nintendo or any other company gets an accolade or recognition for something you’ll see the Sony fanbase scream that it’s bias or paid off. So many examples I could choose from. I’m just calling them out.

This game looks a lot like the first one. If I didn’t know any better I’d call it DLC.

Seems kind of messed up that it’s a PS5 exclusive because it was exclusive to Microsoft back in the day. I think they should have experienced the remake first.

I want Dragon Quest to stay just the way it is. Keep its quirkiness and charm with some adult humor. That’s what makes it great.

I would hate to see the series go a different route just to impress edgy people who can’t appreciate simplicity and fun.

I hope online gets some more improvements. I’d love to have better parkour maps and maybe a new area
