@dark_knightmare2 I tried to refrain from saying it, and you know what. I think I will. I’m 100% sure that if another site made an observation about PS Now or something else PlayStation, a PlayStation fan would get defensive. I’ve seen it happen. Like I said before, we’re supposed to be celebrating PlayStation right now. Bringing up other companies only causes discussions to go off topic and that’s a fact.

You must be new to this site because any time another brand is brought up, no matter if it’s good, bad, or neutral, someone is going to say something. And look what happened, the whole board got off topic & started comparing numbers with some unpleasant things thrown in. But this is a site heavily skewed towards PlayStation with only a few people viewing things from other pointe. You’re not worth my time either. Nobody was thinking about you anyway.

@dark_knightmare2 Not in my feelings. it’s actually 94 on Metacritic. The mods wanted this to be a pleasant discussion here which is why I said if it is to be civil, don’t bring up other brands. Then what happened? We’re celebrating PlayStation, not talking about another company’s business practices and what happened. The thread went completely off topic. I’m not a fanboy but I gotta say you’re the biggest one. You get so defensive, like... SO defensive. I’ve seen a few people call you out on it.

@get2sammyb We’re supposed to celebrate Sony right now, so why even mention Xbox or Nintendo? That’s like proposing to someone at a friends baby shower.

Nice. I hope this is the last in the series and they move onto to something else. Hopefully something that is fun and doesn’t take itself seriously, like another Jak game? Do something for your old fans ND.

@playstation1995 You don’t have to play all Japanese games, but Persona 5 Royal has the highest Metascore of all PS4 exclusives.

@tatsumi Not just a new IP, something different from Uncharted and The Last of Us. They should consider making fun games that don’t take themselves seriously instead of these movies with the same template. They should partner with another studio and make something great.

Can’t they put in multiplayer? I thought it was stupid how they left it out when a lot of people loved it. I don’t know what the PlayStation fanbase has against Multiplayer games but not everyone wants to game by themselves all the time.

@GamingVeteran Because the game just isn’t that good. Once the hype died down people started being more vocal with the games issues. Some games don’t need a sequel and The Last of Us Part II is proof of that.

@playstation1995 Which makes Persona 5 Royal the top PS4 exclusive because it sits at 95. Japanese developers do it better.

94 on Metacritic, after playing it I can say most of the reviews are justified.

I’m gonna add that Metacritic keeps removing critic reviews.

Depends on the game. I like my JRPGs to be around the 100 hour mark.

@zane547 that’s when I liked them tbh. I miss when games were just about having fun and beating baddies. I don’t like this realism and sending messages. To me video games are supposed to be something that make you escape reality, not be reminded of it.

@YoelD Far better as in the game? I got it yesterday and I’m debating on if I should play it or return it and get my money back before I take off the wrap around it. I enjoyed the first one, but the things I’m hearing about this one make me second guess.

Okay to everyone on here who thinks the reviews are from Xbox/Nintendo/PC fans. I won’t deny that some fanbases do that, but has anyone ever considered that some of these reviews are from disappointed fans of the first game? This may be new to some of you, but not every PlayStation is going to like something just because it’s exclusive to PlayStation.

Not playing anything, but I’m going to get some of my money back for what I spent.

@Arct1c76 There are tons of great games out there with little to no emphasis on story and they’re amazing because of the gameplay. I guarantee you people will quit a game with bad gameplay with nice story before they quit a game with bad story and good gameplay.

@playstation1995 See this is the problem with the PlayStation community. Any kind of negativity towards PlayStation is blamed on other fanbases instead of accepting that not every PlayStation fan is happy with what they’ve been given.

May get it at some point. But then again I may not because I’m sick of Naughty Dog’s hypocrisy and bs. I can’t explain the hypocrisy without giving away spoilers.

@playstation1995 I can hardly understand what you say but Xbox, PC, nor Nintendo are responsible. The reviews are coming from disappointed fans who loves the first game & people who want Neil to quit pushing agendas.

I noticed the more recent reviews have been more critical of the game. Might wait for a sale & I saw two of the spoilers too so yeah...

@Menchi When it comes to port begging the PS4 fans are the worst. They were literally dropping zeroes on the user review section on Metacritic for Fire Emblem Three Houses and Astral Chain just because it wasn’t on their system. And don’t get be started on the Bayonetta 2.

They showed a new Ratchet & Clank. That’s good enough for me. I hope they will be more creative this time around.

@Fight_Teza_Fight I saw that & I pointed it out, PushSquare is one of those sites that I don’t trust for PS exclusive reviews. But as for the rest I’ll see when I play the game myself. There have been a handful of times where people loved a game but the critics didn’t and vice versa. I know you can relate.

@Party_Cannon Good Lord, has the fanbase become this annoying? No one can criticize PlayStation without some fanboy bringing up Xbox. The console is ugly and it better be able to lay flat. I said what I said.

Hit or miss. I liked some games shown and I’m excited for another Ratchet & Clank, but I hope they come out with a redesign soon because the PlayStation 5 is an ugly looking console.
