I just want it to have third person mode! I've played a bit of it but I've never gotten on with FPS games.

I think it's an alright selection personally. Happy to get a next gen NBA game (albeit such a huge file size I may not actually get to install it)! Yomi I tried on my son's Xbox for 10 mins last year and it seems decent enough and JP, I have the first one and never really played it, so doubt I will this one either but you never know!

I don't see the sports games as being bad additions personally. People like different things. I can't stand JRPG kind of stuff, or even COD etc but have had a load of those games dumped in my lap via PS Plus over the years!

I feel we have reached that point now that any game with aggressive MT's such as this one should automatically be awarded a max score of 3/10 or something, and rated as 'Poor'. Hopefully then that would start turning people away, certainly those who would blindly buy this just by looking at the review score and not the review.

It will likely never happen but, once GTA 6 finally releases I'd love Rockstar to remake RDR1 and release a next gen version of RDR2. And also to remake GTA 4.

The fact that no one can play RDR1 or GTA 4 at this point is just utterly ridiculous for two such massive games.

The Spider Man Remastered for PS5 is currently on the home screen of the store on my console and is saying £5 for the upgrade.

I didn't mind this game but gave up on it as FPS are my kryptonite. I would love it if they did a third person mode, then I'd be all over it. I will probably download it again though in the future so it will be nice to play some DLC too, unless it's paid for? In which case, nah.

I'll try GRID Legends but tend to get bored of racing games pretty quick as I'm just not interested in cars at all (and I'm rubbish at racing games).

No interest in medieval multiplayer things, and Descenders is already on Plus Extra and I tried it and found it a bit aimless and pointless, but that's probably on me for being stupid and not understanding what I had to do?

I, and my 9 year old daughter, played about an hour of the trial and enjoyed it enough. Happy to give it a spin once it's free. Does anyone know if you can race together locally against the AI? I've no interest in it really if not because it would only be a game my daughter and I would play together, or her solo occassionally.

As with all things, it comes down to greed eventually. Before streaming was a thing, big companies were complaining about downloading and pirating movies/music/games. With the advent of Netflix and Spotify a lot of that stopped. And then, guess what, EVERYONE wanted you to sub to EVERYTHING! So now we have Apple TV+, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Paramount+, HBO, Now TV etc etc. To the point where you would be spending hundreds of £ per month if you wanted it all. Then add in PS Plus, Gamepass, EA Access, Ubisoft+ or whatever game subs there are. And not to mention every single app on your phone nowadays is a sub service. Even if it's a product that really doesn't warrant a sub service. In fact, those are the most annoying ones, the apps. Go through the whole setting account up rigmarole and at the end - "choose your plan". F off!!!!! I miss the days when I could buy a useful app for £3.99 or whatever and have it forever. Now I even need to subscribe to my goddamn printer!!!

The good thing is, as this article suggests, these practices always consume themselves in the end.

Will definitely try Disney Speedstorm as my kids will enjoy that one.

@RobN indeed! As evidenced by Riders Republic being announced on Extra for next week. Only a matter of time before all the other Ubi games end up on there. There's not many more left to add to be honest!

I like the IDEA of it, but as soon as I get on there I exit within about 20 minutes. Sad but inevitable.

I'll try Kena and Monster Boy (it's been on my wishlist for years)! I said only yesterday that there's no point buying something like Riders Republic as it will end up on Plus at some point, being a Ubisoft game. It's OK. It's fairly cringey but it's a mix between Steep and The Crew 2 so it's enjoyable enough.

Nah, no point spending money on this. R&C will undoubtedly hit Plus at some point. Probably LofU2 as well.There's also no need to buy any Ubisoft games like Far Cry 6, Riders Republic or Watchdogs Legion as they will turn up on there at some point as well. It's saving me a lot of money!

Would love to see some classic Amiga games packaged up for PS though. How about a Sensible Software collection? SWOS, Cannon Fodder, Mega-Lo-Mania, Sensible Golf. These were awesome games!

Wow, does this mean they might actually make an effort with PES, sorry, "eFootball"? That game could be fun but my god Konami are trying their hardest to make it terrible!

I read the article about Marvel Avengers free stuff the other day and despite not having a shred of interest in the game I DO like free stuff so thought I'd download my PS Plus copy. The file size was something outrageous like 120gb or something. Nah, don't like free stuff that much!

Can't say I'm overly interested in Jedi Survivor either. I've got Fallen Order and I like it enough, but the puzzle element is a huge turnoff and sometimes it feels like you are going round in circles because of the map.

Remote play is rubbish unless you're actually in the house where your console is, which totally defeats the object. I bought a Backbone for a recent long haul flight and holiday and it was basically pointless.

If its not newer updated versions of RDR1 and RDR2 I'm not interested. Would rather play those two over GTA any day.

@Would_you_kindly yeah I'd kill for that. I've finally, after 4 years, just about finished RDR2 and it's easily my favourite game of all time. As much as I prefer that setting, I could easily imagine getting immersed in Cyberpunk if it was in third person.

I enjoyed the first one to a point, but then I got to what I presume was a puzzle in a labyrinth with some big stone boulders/balls and couldn't figure it out for the life of me so gave up and have never played it since! Maybe I'll give it another go after watching a walkthrough.

@Would_you_kindly this! I've played some of it and I kind of enjoyed it, but I'd love way more to play it in 3rd person. I don't really get on with 1PS games.

I know I'm getting old, but this whole 'hey we're from the streets' style in games is just so lame and cringey. See also Watchdogs 2, the Volta mode in FIFA, The Crew 2 and a few other examples.

The worst bit is, it's probably been added by middle aged, middle class execs who THINK that's what people find cool

Either way, this game, like all the other NFS, will certainly end up on Plus one day, so I'll try it then.

Broforce is awesome fun! I got it via PS Plus way back in 2016 I believe. Myself and my son have played it a lot so lovely surprise to hear there is new content coming 6-7 years after release!

@riceNpea I just can't do it. Loved PES for years so really WANT to love this but can't until it's fully operational on an offline basis.

What's the point in having Miles Morales twice, and also GHost of Tsusihma?

I so want to get into this. I play it very occassionaly for about five minutes and, although I don't love the gameplay, I feel I COULD love it once I've learned the ins and outs. But I don't game online so the complete lack of offline teams, modes, licenses and even difficulty settings etc just makes me turn it off again.

I really don't understand the strategy behind it from Konami? Like, just add in all the teams, an edit mode and unlock all the settings and you'd instantly increase the amount of people who play it. By all means add Master League etc at some later point, but at the very least make everything accesible offline for kick off mode just for some sort of variety!

@MFTWrecks I downloaded the Division 2 yesterday because it's now on Plus and I deleted it within about ten minutes. Whenever I paused the game for more than, like, twenty seconds, it booted me out and I had to start again. No time for online stuff like that. Just make a good offline game!

Would give RSS a go if there are any kinds of offline modes with AI. Not interest in playing online. Can anyone confirm there is offline content to play?

I quite liked what I played but deleted it to make space for other games. Will install again one day I'm sure, although if they made a third person mode that would make me download it instantly!

@Zemo55 That's what I asked. I think deluxe is just another name for Premium in countries that can't stream from what I gather?

What is the reward? Just some picture of a boombox? I got ticks for Heavy Rain, Until Dawn and Detroit just by streaming them, but there's no way I'm downloading the whole of Returnal, Death Stranding and Uncharted 4 just to get a picture of a boom box

When do we start getting actual points that will contribute to getting decent rewards?

Is there any indication as to whether any of these games have a time limit on them? Or are they all permanent additions? Can't imagine GTA VC is permanent.

@stvevan I know, it's just stupid and odd that an initiative for Playstation consoles isn't actually launched ON the console itself and you have to go on your phone to do it!

when i click on the PS Stars tile in the store it says "Can't find what your looking for". I'm from the UK. Is anyone else getting this?

Wow, this looks EXACTLY the same as Zelda LttP. Which can only be a good thing of course because that is still one of the best games of all time. I'd be interested in playing this just because of the visual similarities to be honest, but probably only if it was either £3.99 one day or, even better, ended up on Plus.

@Gamer_Guy yeah I thought Hot Wheels would be really good fun but that trial was the definition of 'meh'. Maybe now I haven't got a time limit hanging over me I'll feel different though?

I tried the Hot Wheels trial. It was OK I guess. May download that again. I like Superhot. Not bothered about Injustice though.

I keep seeing the first one on sale but not low enough to purchase. And I reckon it may end up on Plus at some point. It looks like nice relaxing fun though so definitely keen!

@Actionhank89 I really like skateboarding but can't actually skate (I'm 42, it's never going to happen now!) so will I still like this or not? I certainly don't want to spend £50 on it if I won't. But I am intrigued.

Thank god. The 'new' AC games are fun for a short while and then quickly become bore fests. Last one I played that I actually properly enjoyed are Black Flag and Syndicate.

I like the idea of this but unless I can remote play away from the home (where it's actually useful such as a plane journey or holiday abroad for instance) then I don't see the point in getting it. Can anyone who has one tell me if the remote play actually works well in those situations. No internet, no remote play. And if that's the case this thing is basically £100 wasted.

And can you play mobile games and Apple Arcade without having to sub?

A Home Alone game would be awesome!

Got excited when I heard gamelists/folders. Then checked it out and realised it's rubbish! Oh well.

I'd settle for Cannon Fodder instead!
