I have Mafia 2 and have no interest in the Aliens game. Oh well, hopefully the 3rd game is good. To be honest, even if it is, I probably still won't get beyond adding it my library anyway!

God I dislike Avatar. Po-faced, takes itself way too seriously considering it's about a planet of blue people. And it's impossible to care about any of them because they all look exactly the same! And it's totally soulless because it's 95% CGI. And waaaaay too long. How Cameron is wanting to turn it into some sort of franchise is bizarre. But hey, that's just me!

@roe the best case scenario would be that FIFA is free to play and you just pay X amount per year for new kits, updated transfers etc. In reality though that would then become like eFootball which is a complete barebones mess. Careful what you wish for I guess!

Just as important, why has this game even been made anyway? Kong Skull Island, the movie, came out in 2017 so it doesn't even really tie in with that. I can't see how anyone would be interested in this regardless?

Gutted, I got to chapter 5 in The Quarry last night and was hoping to log in to PS5 this morning and put it on offline so I could get enough time to finish the game, but it's already gone! Oh well, I'm sure it will be on essential at some point.

This looks fun, probably won't bother until it's in a sale for £3.99 though to be honest. Too much going on as it is!

All this focus on cloud gaming and remote play etc and it still means nothing without decent internet. A service like that will never be mainstream if the only way it's useful is dependant on your internet connection.

The only one I've played is Don Bradman Cricket 14. Seeing as that is nearly 10 years ago, would I be wowed with Cricket 24 or not really?

I've been playing Weird West which we got with Plus Essential and really enjoying it. Is Disco Elysium a comparable experience/type of game? If so, more than happy to finally play that. If it's more point and click/turn based kind of thing then probably won't bother.

I'll be giving Weird West a try after the brief few minutes of the trial. I liked the look of it. Not arsed about the other two.

I tried Weird West very briefly in the trial on PS5 and liked the look of it, so happy with that. Not in to horror stuff so have no interest in Calisto Protocol. And, as much as I like the idea of Farming Sim, I'm realistically never going to play it.

Oh well, let's hope the third game is good!

Why make a game at considerable cost I'd imagine, knowing that it's probably only going to have a 6 month shelf life. When are companies going to realise that people obviously don't like these types of games much, hence why they all go to the wall within a year, maybe two at a push. Or is that the strategy? That actually the immediate gains from the popularity makes the outlay back, plus a small profit, so after that it doesn't matter what happens to it?

Just tried to download Cloudpunk but it's actually only the PS4 version available, not the PS5 version.

Was kind of hoping it would have added a Third person mode, as I'm rubbish at FIrst person shooters! Oh well, will give it a try anyway.

Will this ever actually go free to play? I bought the founders game for my daughter but as nice as it is, even she got bored of it fairly quickly. No idea why its not free to play, same goes for Disney Speedstorm.

I played Unpacking on Game Pass and loved it, so I'll give that a try. I played the first part of Nier Automota, so may give this one a go but not that bothered by any of the others.

Would definitely have tried Saints Row out of interest. Won't be trying the other two games though.

I was automatically put on Premium plan when it changed last year, and that is due to expire in October, so I've just re-upped for another year at the same £99 price for Premium. Once that expires Oct 2024 I don't think I'll bother subbing again. Too expensive going forward.

That's cool I guess, but I'd rather have one console that consolidates all those games rather than one controller and five consoles under my TV! Imagine Playstation had the desire and nous to make every game for PS1-PS5 available to play on a PS5. Now THAT would be something!

@__jamiie I don't have Xbox, should have said on PS. I wouldn't mind betting GTA 4 will get a port at some point as well now RDR1 has. I hope so anyway. Last time I played either of them was back in 2010 or whenever it was, on Xbox 360. And even then I got no where near to completing either of them so I'd love to experience them for, pretty much, the first time.

I've been waiting for this forever. The fact that you can't play this or GTA 4 on modern consoles is an absolute travesty. That said, there is no way I'm paying £50 for it. £24.99 would be my absolute max in a sale in the future.

Wow, I heard the rumours, didn't expect it to turn up this quickly though! It's disappointing it's not a remake or remaster but, seeing as I have no way of playing this game anymore, I'll take whatever form it comes in. Not for £50 though. Will wait until it's half price.

I tried Stray yesterday and it still let me play it. What happened?

The Ascent and Dysmantle are on my wishlist so that saves me a few quid. It Takes Two is on there as well but the days of getting my son play co-op with me are over so I doubt I'll ever get round to trying it.

Awesome news if true! Would be amazing if it was remastered but just to actually be able to play it at all would be great, seeing as you can't anymore unless you still own and run a PS3.

The same goes for GTA 4 which also leads me to believe that is the other game that may get released. Again, I hope so!

I think, depending on early reviews/impressions, this may be the last time I bother buying it. And that is just out of intrigue as to what, if anything, will be different now FIFA has departed. If nothing has changed at all apart from the name then my only hope is Konami get their finger (or head) out and actually provide a good offline experience for eFootball and I'll just play that for free instead. Neither game is particularly great, but free is better than £70!

@ErrantRob hey, late to the party here but my last NHL was in 2015 and 2023 is on sale for £20 so I thought maybe it's time for an upgrade. Will I notice much improvement over 2015 if I go for it or is it not worth it even for £20?

@KilloWertz I don't get the culture on here of not 'claiming' the games? Like, I get why you wouldn't download them, but why wouldn't you take 2 seconds to 'add to library' in case you wanted to play them in the future??

Like everyone else I got excited when I saw arcade football only to realise it isn't football. PushSquare, can you amend the title to gridiron or something please?

These games far too convoluted and time consuming after the heyday of Championship Manager classics culminating in 01/02 (which you can still download for free and up date with modern data).

Add to that playing a game made for PC on a console with controller and it's a definite non-interest for me personally.

About time (hopefully)! There is no way, unless you still own a PS3/XBOX360 to play this game which is just ridiculous in this day and age. Ditto for GTA 4. Rockstar have to get those two games on to modern consoles even if it is just a port.

Didn't we get Stray and Marvels Avengers on Essential anyway? Or am I mistaken and I'm about to lose access to them? Not overly bothered if so, but it would be nice if I had the chance to play them at a time of my choosing.

I didn't play a lot, bits here and there but I did watch lots of Glastonbury which was awesome!

I'm mixed on this. On one hand I'm an 80's kid and love Indiana Jones to death and am gutted, after waiting for years, for an Indy game that I won't get to play it. On the other hand, realistically, it's very unlikely to be as good as Uncharted or Tomb Raider. I'd be amazed if it reviews as well as those games tend to. So I'd be getting it for the character, music and general nostalgia.

To be honest, I'm not even sure who this game is for. Is Indy of any interest to 'the kids' nowadays in the same way all the superhero nonsense is? I wouldn't think so. I know there is a huge demographic of people 35 upwards who play, but a large chunk are people younger than 30 who probably couldn't care less about Indy, especially if it's not some online shooter type game.

No third person mode

I'm an 80's kid so I'll happily try the Turtles game and hope it's like the arcade game. Maybe try Far Cry 6 but I've tried other FC games in the past and I'm not usually that keen.

I can't believe no-one is mentioning Lonely Mountains, it's a really fun game, if not mildly infuriating!
