@Apfelschteiner I think it's an interesting and weird choice. Certainly unexpected. I've subbed to Plus for seven years or so now and there's never been an indication that FIFA would be on there. I mean, it's pretty much the biggest selling game every year so wouldn't have thought they'd need to put it on there. I'd love it to become a yearly thing as it means I won't have to bother buying it each year!

Giving FIFA away on Plus now? That has to be a first, surely? What does that tell us about the wider picture? That EA are worried that eFootball will steal it's thunder? That FIFA hasn't done as well this year? Something else?

I buy it every year anyway so it's of no benefit to me and, to be honest, I imagine most football fans (especially in light of the PES debacle) probably own it anyway. Anyone who doesn't probably has no interest in it.

The other two games I've never heard of and will likely never play so, normal month of Plus!

Looks really good but free to play undoubtedly means it's online only. If I can't play locally with my kids then it's a swerve from me.

I'm confused, does this mean I won't ever get a THPS3 remake now? If not, boooo! Don't care about the other stuff, personally.

Tried it and never went back. As an offline player if they have improved it gameplay wise then fine, I'll give it a go again. If they're not offering offline modes though then it's a hard pass. Last time I tried it you could play as 9 teams and five minute matches. All I want is all the teams available, ten minute matches and some sort of edit mode. Can't be that big an ask can it?

@Number09 Yes! SWOS is what we need. Better than all these other games combined. Updated squads would be a marvel!

The review says you can finish the campaign quite quickly. Was that the same for these games when released individually in the past? Or have they been cut up and butchered for this release? I mean, if they used to take 10 hours to complete that would be 90 hours of gameplay. If they now only take 2 hours that's only 18 hours. That's a big drop in value for money.

Not sure what games I'd actually be that bothered to try again anyway? GTA 4, RDR, Fight Night, PES 2013, Joe Danger, Skate 3, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Top Spin 4.

Most decent games are ported/remastered on PS4 anyway to be honest.

Terrible month for me personally as have no interest in multiplayer nonsense or card-games. I guess my 8 year old daughter may like Spongebob?

@BritneyfR_ee I'd say the basic tier will let you keep the games as normal. The bigger worry would be, what quality of game are you now going to get on that tier? Most of the big hitters will be put on the more expensive tiers I would think.

It sounds OK. I think if you stick with the Basic plan then you can expect slim pickings with the free games each month. They will reserve the decent ones for the higher tiers to try and get people to sub for more $$. Much like XBOX games with gold.

If the higher tiers want to be considered a success then they are really going to have to up the ante with their offerings. They will need to include PS5 versions of PS4 games wherever appropriate. And there can't be any of this 'available for 3 months' nonsense. The games will need to be on there a lot longer than that.

It's all well and good saying 'hey, we have Returnal, Miles Morales etc' but if they disappear after 3 months then it just leaves the largely mediocre PS Now lineup.

I currently sub to both so it would save me money I guess, but was probably going to let Now lapse in July anyway.

Not interested in PS3 games if I can't download them. I never stream them on PS Now as it is, so won't start any time soon. I wasn't a PS1 guy either so not bothered about those games. If I could have some classic PS2 games (would love to play PES again for example) then I may consider it. To be honest though, having tried GTAVC and GTAIII on Now recently, sometimes games are best left to your memory!

My Now sub expires in July, so that will give me a month or two to see if it's worth subbing to the higher tiers or not. I suspect I probably won't seeing as I can't even afford to sit in my house with the heating on anymore!!

CD Keys are offering 12 months PS Now for £39.99 rather than £49.99 if anyone wanted to know...

Interested to see how often the games are 'refreshed' on the premium services. It's all well and good touting Returnal, Miles Morales, Death Stranding etc but will they be on the service indefinitely, or be removed after three months like games are on the current Now service?

@Titntin It's all good! I agree as well. We all like different things. I always laugh to myself when people kick up a fuss about getting sports games on Plus, as though video gaming and liking sports can't live together in harmony! To be honest, I do think this month sounds pretty bad (the Hood game sounds as generic as some of the other multiplayer games we've received the last year) but everyone will have their own opinion on it. If you are expecting big releases though then, yes, you are entitled!

@Titntin what do you consider entitlement? Not liking the games that have been offered? I don't like the games that have been offered. I have no interest in any of them. Does that make me entitled? Just trying to work out what you mean...

@LiamCroft could you advise us all of the correct way to react to this each month please? Just so I know not to get to excited or to disappointed in the future...

I have four of the 'best' controllers of all time and 2 of them had stick drift within 6 months. Make of that what you will.

Wow, that could be about the worst lineup in Plus history! Obviously we HAVE to have an online multiplayer (yawn) but also a CARD game and a Spongebob game. Really? Who at Sony thought this would be a good selection together? Maybe one of each of these over the next three months with different games. But altogether in one month, this is dreadful!

@ApostateMage would love this game to be third person like a futuristic GTA. I've enjoyed what I've played so far, but I'm not a huge first person type of guy.

I'm too scared to play horror games anyway, but even if I wasn't I wouldn't pay £65 to play one. Maybe when it's in a sale for less than a tenner if I'm courageous enough!

If you've only just got a PS4, having never owned a console this or last gen, there are some amazing games in this sale for absolutely peanuts!

Tried it, seems good. Really annoying that it won't import my PS4 save from the console though. I now have to re-download the PS4 version of GTA to UPLOAD my save so I can then go back into the PS5 version and download the save! Very annoying.

@lolwhatno I believe it's because children make their own games on Roblox and Roblox then profit off them some how? I think? I may be wrong though.

Is it possible to ONLY have the story mode? I have zero interest in GTA Online so would happily annexe that from the campaign to save storage.

Classic character pack? If the game encompasses the original trilogy why are Luke, Leia, Han, Vader and Lando in a DLC pack? Surely they are already in the game?

Played about two minutes of it on Apple Arcade. Meh.

I went for it, for £8.75. I've never actually finished the game on PS4, so happy to upgrade and get the most out of it. I never paid full price for it anyway (was a couple of years late to the PS4 party) so I don't feel too hard done by.

Still can't work out the structure though. Is this £8.75 just for story mode? I have no interest in GTA online so, happy for it to be the case.

Not really a FPS guy (although have been enjoying Cyberpunk to my surprise) so not overly interested in at least 3 of this months offerings. And the chicken game looks just like reading loads of text on a page so not bothered about that.

I've tried Ghostrunner and Sonic on PS Now and both, IMO, are meh. I'd consider trying GoT Legends and ARK but the file sizes are massive and I'll likely delete both after half an hour as online stuff isn't my bag, so I'll probably just not bother!

Nearly fooled me into thinking we were getting the full GoT. Never heard of Legends mode so had no idea! Oh well, that's disappointing. Especially as two of the other games are already on PS Now and the others are GTA Online (no interest) and ARK (intrigued but not excited).

I had no interest in this game whatsoever when it came out, and even less when I heard the reviews. I'm not a fan of FPS type games (I prefer 3rd person experiences) but when I saw it was £19.99 and getting better reviews I thought, to hell with it, let's see what it's all about! And I'm actually quite enjoying it I have to say. I wish there was a 3rd person mode, but I'm playing on easy and I'm holding my own so I'm happy enough. Not encountered any game breaking bugs either, although I've only just got to the Keanu bit so there may be some to come.

Have no interest in GTA Online. Team Sonic Racing I have tried on PS Now and it's fairly average. I've always seen ARK for sale in the PS Store so maybe I'll try that out finally and see what it's all about?

The 1 second of gameplay looked promising, then you lost me at free to play. BUT, my kids will probably enjoy this so it has legs.

I didn't even know what it was until I opened this article! And I only opened this article because I thought it was to do with Virtual Reality

My TV isn't new enough even for UHD etc, so no doubt won't make a difference to me either way!

I enjoyed the demo/trial pre-release. I thought it was good fun! I'm waiting for a heavy discount or PS Plus release though before jumping in properly though.

@Kidfunkadelic83 I played Driveclub on the weekend (I also snapped it up before it left the store a couple of years ago) and it is still a beautiful game to look at isn't it. Considering it's age, it's far nicer looking than most other racers since.

I am absolutely terrible at it though! Is there anyway to turn the difficulty down?!
