So, I tired replaying Witcher 3 with the PS5 patch, and I find myself genuinely disliking the combat now too much to continue. Anyone else in the same boat?

Witcher 3 was one of the first games I ever played when I got back into video games a few years ago, so while I think the story holds up, compared to other games, combat has just lost its appeal to me Haha

I still can't believe I got one as quick as I did! So stoked for other people to get their hands on this goodness.

Any word on embargo date?

$90 CAD for a 12 hour game is a bit too rich for my blood. Remake or new game or what.

Once it comes to PS+ I'll gladly play it, but I'm absolutely not paying money for that game haha

Also, one thing I can't get over about this game is the veteran writers that worked on this...and for the writing to still be just, so, so bad. It's bizarre.

I feel like companies avoid SkillUp when they fear a capital "r" Review. That dude is easily my favorite reviewer, even if I don't always agree with his takes.

I’m fine with that! I feel like I’m one of the few people who play games one at a time so I don’t really need a whole bunch of games downloaded at any given time Haha

Forespoken, Hogwarts Legacy, and Dead Space have soooo much potential to make January and February such banging months. Genuinely hope the best for all of them. Will gladly buy the 3 at full price if reviews are solid.

FF7 Remake was the first FF game I’ve ever played and I am soooo ready for Rebirth!!!!

I have a sense that, perhaps, preorders are not hitting the numbers they anticipated so they’re really juicing the marketing machine.

I genuinely love Harry Potter, but I am absolutely not preordering a full priced game from a studio that isn’t really a known quantity. If the reviews are good, then I will absolutely be getting it.

Played the demo for 30 minutes before work! I found the combat to be really fantastic, but that dialogue is really, really awful.

I wanted to love Fallen Order so much, but just found myself desperately wishing most (all?) of the upgrades were cosmetic. It definitely took some of the enjoyment away for me.

CDPR continues to bungle the most basic executions. It’s almost impressive. Yes, they didn’t say that footage would be there, but to not have ANYTHING on it, not even a few screen grabs, is so goofy.

Not sure if anyone else is in the business/ e-commerce world, but when I see specific figures like this I always wonder what the ROI is. It has to be pretty healthy for Sony, but then you see other studios ship double that and call it a failure, also makes me wonder what their ROI’s are too.

I just really, really did not like the camera and controls of Until Dawn. It ruined the game for me.
