@Judal27 I watched that whole trailer thinking “XCX 2: Gattcha Bugaloo”. If Monolithsoft ever made a gatcha game, this would be it. (Just finished XCX Definitive Edition last week.)

Not a fan of the art style, too PC for me. Or something. Not like therearen’t endless gatcha to choose form now though. I’ve been playing so much Infinit Nikki Iforgot to play Fortnite, so after 3 years I think I’m done w/ that one now. Have PAlia and Where Winds Meet (title?) Wishlisted for when I tire of Nikki, or it finishes. Still playing too much Disney Speedstorm as well.

this does look interesting, but I paid for Farmagia and still haven’t’ installed it yet. So many games, too few hours. Too late in my life to start so many games that never end. I need closure.

If they’re doing 2 seasons to match up 1 to each game then call me when the 2nd season airs.

While I do think this is great news for all the people who already paid big bucks for the Pro, Ihave to imagine it’s going to be harder to sell the expensive beast as we get closer to the PS6 launch expected by some of us next year. Though at the rate console launches have been going the PS6 may really just be the PS4 Pro Pro Pro Pro. May need 1 more Pro on there for the 6. PS6 may have as many new game exclusives it’s first 2 years as the Xbox Series X/S. I think that was zero. At least I got Donkey Kong on Switch 2. (MKW got played for like 3 hours,)

I hope Shogun is right about DQ12 b/c outside of Wolverine that's all I'm really looking forward to, not a GTA guy. Well someone in the comments did mention FF7 Pt 3, would be nice for that to release before I pass away from old age.😝

I played 13 when it came out. Never fnsihed it bc the final boss battle was too difficult for me. And I didn’t really enjoy it all that much. hope is the wort video game chracter ever voiced, the defiition of whiny white boy priviledge. I played the demo for pt 2 but it was just more of the sa,e so skipped the game. PT 3 was never even on my radar after that.

Not sure how i feel about a triligoy remaster. likely wouldn’t play it but enough people might, after 7 part 3, that it might be worth it.

Better title - Mortal Engines: The Game

Will keep an eye on this one, but mimicking the look isn't the same as getting the gameplay right. I've played a lot of 3D platformer over the years trying to feed a proper sequel to Jak and Daxtor but so far they've all fallen short. Donkey Kong Bananza was pretty close. I'm hoping Nintendo can really pull it off with the Splatoon spinoff. Fingers crossed for this one too.🤞

Edit: Watched the trailer, mood seemed like Hat in Time, but I'm still digging it. Almost seemed more action adventure than platformer, thought I saw a Spyro boss fight in there, maybe a little Medieval as well. If they can execute a game from this trailer who knows, they could have a hit on their hands.

I was looking forward to this one until I read Sammy's first impressions last year, now I'm a little worried it's more about skill and less about fun. If it has an easy mode I'm probably in.

Wow there's A LOT going on in that trailer. At first it just looked like some made in Dreams nonsense, not a big fan of the drinking mini games, but then it turned into so much more. Wouldn't even guess it's free to start, looks like a full blow JRPG adventure, but I guess since Genshin Impact anything is possible.

Not a PC gamer but will certainly try it out on console. I stopped playing Fortnite a few weeks ago so I have some free time.

Can someone translate "Xbox Developer Direct" for me? I understand the Xbox and Direct parts but does "developer" roughly translate to "first party" or "all parties" or "Independent" or something? I guess really my main concern is if this is going to be a game focused show for gamers or a techno babble show for other devs? You know, like 1 of those ASMR vids Cerny does that always puts me to sleep.😴

Seems like a game for me but I’ll wait until after Shogun does his final review before deciding if I play it or not. Hopefully yes.

@Faucet Good to hear. I wasn't expecting much difference for a game that looks like this but you never can tell. Switch 2 is still so new.

Might be one of those things to play to compare Switch 2 to PS5. I don't expect parity, just play ability on Switch 2. Sometimes it's close enough, sometimes it's night and day. Might be worth playing twice jyst to mess with it before getting the game.

PS5 is 4 or 5 years old, maybe it could get a separate list from PS4? I know it's probably the same but w/ the install base of each I'd like to see 2 separate lists just in case.

I know we don’t know what this is, but we must have some idea, right? Like, is this mostly going to be Steam games or mobile games? Doesn’t feel like a console thing, or a big company thing, more like a small indie thing.

Am planning on playing this once they figure out the packaging. Having a base game, a base game and 2 or 3 dlc, then a separate additional cost dlc, and the base game w/o the 2 or 3 old dlc but w/ the new paid dlc is too much for me to bother with. I’m assuming at some point it will be 1 edition 1 price like Witcher 3.

Looking forward to Wolverine, Spiderman 3 and Hoziron 3, but tht’s about it, But that’s enough. Nearly time to retire from gaming for me. I’d play a Greek GoW but only if it’s first confirmed to be a stand alone game and not just the first hlaf of an overarching story like GoW & Ragnarok. I still haven’t played Astrobot which we just got for Christmas so no rush for a sequel for me.🎄

I’d be fine if FF7 Pt 3 was the last game I evr played. FF7 was the 2nd game I played in this modern era of gaming after Parasite Eve, (Iowned Pong, Atari and the like before taking about a 10 yr break before PS1) so FF7 can end it. Glad they said it’s onyx 1 ore game, don’t think Icould hold out long enough for a 4th part.😁

I'm taking my 1 plat in Jak & Daxter to my grave. Usually I max out at around 50% anyway, 60% - maybe 80% if I'm really enjoying a game, but I doubt I'll get anywhere near a plat ever again.

Dlc for an 11yo game seems kinda stupid but watching Nintendo pump out $20 upgrade paths for so many Switch games on the Switch 2 makes me think it's possible. Not a fan. Though if they wanted to turn 5 seasons of the show into a game when it's finally done airing, fine, but that seems better suited to a new spinoff game than dlc. But whatever.

Judging by the number of comments on this article, currently 1, and the number of comments on the latest Genshin Impact article, also 1, perhaps it would make more sense if Genshin Imact released on Switch 2 than if Story of Seasons released on PS5?

I bought this over the summer for my kids to play, my wife and I still have yet to play it. Too much NFL football. Probably after the Superbowl. Looking forward to it.

I do wish the Inifnity Niki people could figute it out, that game goes down fairly regularly for me, sometimes every 5 minutes or so. After the 3rd time I usually stop playing. DisneySpeedstorm ran just fine this morning but I dont’ think too many people are playing that money pit game.

The sevice is propbably worth it to a ot fo people, but if you go through the PS shop and only pick ut out games that Pushsquare gave reall bad review scores too, like total shovelware going for $20 or whatever, s there really any value there?

I play several free to play games that have free online, my value is $80 in my pocket by not paying to play online.

@AhmadSumadi Yeah I don’’t think lending you our disc is going to help. One of the downsides of all digital is fewer sales. You should still be able to find cheaper digital sales on retail websites though. If you’re in the UK then Boxing Day this Friday should be good.

@AhmadSumadi We were waiting for the price of this 1 to come down as well, $50 or $60, whatever it was, seemed like way too much for us for a 12 hour game. Fortunately it was on sale for $40 most places this past Black Friday - I'm in the US - and it was basically the only thing on my kids gift list. For $40, and w/ 3 of us each playing it separately for 12 hours, it's just about worth it.

And I didn't know about this level, and after reading the comments I'm even more excited to play it. 2 more days.🎄

Isn't "crunch" something that gets done just before something is due to be finished - a fame, house, book, car, whatever - as in "crunch time"? If they are being forced to work overtime in 2025 for a game that isn't due out until mid 2027 that isn't "crunch" it's just forced overtime. It isn't "crunch". That's not what the word crunch means.

Yes I read they are putting out a demo but you don't do crunch time for a demo, you just put it out when it's done.

I think it has a chance b/c of the Bungie name. I don't even play anything that they make but I know of them. And I think the Marathon name might help as well. And the $40 price. And being on PC and Xbox.

Whether it is or not who knows, but it will do better than Concord and Fairgame$ or whatever it was called.

So congrats to them. Hopefully no other game ever breaks that record b/c the competition going forward is too good.

@Orpheus79V @PuppetMaster I'm sure the PS4 can run it, heck the PS3 could probably run it, and they could make a PS2 version in SD at really low sprite resolution, but they probably won't. At some point, after a console is a certain age, companies just stop making games for them, and in 2027 PS4 will be past that age.

As a reminder PS4 launched in 2013. Who's going around saying "Let's make a game for a 14 year old console in 2027"? Historically 14 yo consoles don't get new games. Not b/c they can't run them, just b/c they stop making games for them. 🤷‍♂️

Is there a book form of this yet? I was enjoying this game so much in chapters 1 & 2 but then chapter 3 happened. I need a graphic novel, a prequel and maybe a sequel just to wrap my head around it all.

Switch and PS4 versions should both be canceled next summer. It's time. Well maybe not for Switch, it will still be getting games for another 5 years, but how many games get triple released new - PS4, PS5, PS6? I mean probably Just Dance on Wii, Wii U and Switch, but besides that.😂
