@NinjaWaddleDee I totally fell out of gaming at the ps1 and n64 era, got back in around 2008 so Crash totally past me. So yeah I'd rather play it on the switch myself. And Spyro if that happens too

Really want this game but the switch and BotW will be my game for the next while. So gonna hold off for a month or two. I really hope this will be a huge success for Sony. It looks amazing!

I'll prob hold off on the dlc till the autumn. Waiting on the game to arrive from UK to Ireland, so prob have it in a week. Dying to play it in VR!

PS is the main money puller for Sony. Sony pictures, sadly is not, along with a lot of other things they do.

Personally I think they should just stick with PlayStation and movies. Drop everything else. But then that is MASSIVE unemployment from Sony world over. Catch 22 an all that

I don't play my PC much bug the price difference on digital games compared to ps4 is CRAZY. I'll stick with physical games for the time being. Can always be bought cheaper.

I guess it's for new people to the ps store over Xmas, make a quick buck in new system digital game sales.

I have a question or two. I have the €400 for a pro, I have the PSVR, but I don't have, or will be getting a 4k TV anytime soon. I have the pro on pre-order. Do I actually need a pro? Like, is it just going to speed up load times for me compared to my standard ps4? Should I just hold onto my money to get the NSwitch in March instead?

@SKC_Diamond 'Ps4 Pro I just hope I can put my 2TB hard drive in it from my original ps4 and it will work just like that without formatting it and reinstalling the OS' I hope this too! Have a 2TB hdd in my Ps4 atm. If I can do a straight swap of the hdds to the Pro it will be SUCH a relief and MASSIVE time save.

@sub12 yeah, agreed! They have an uphill battle with the NX.

When you think about it, the WiiU has sold 12million (give it take) or so, I would think 10million of those sales are super fans like myself, the other 2 or 3 million are kids or family's or people who like to have all systems each generation. So, 10million (pulling numbers out if the air here) hard core sales, hmm, that's a very low mega fan Base to me.

They better have the ultimate system at launch and continue with amazing games from there on out or Sony will keep killing them, even Microsoft will over take them again with the Scorpio. It's kinda worrying/sad days for Nintendo at the moment. Hope they can turn it looks around.

I would imagine Sony want to take some of Nintendos thunder when they reveal the NX (I would like to think it will be unveiled at TGS). The ps4k/neo be shown a few days later, be released for the 'holidays' and then the NX will come in March loosing Nintendo a good few sales as people will have already bought their first ps4 with the neo or upgraded to it from the ps4. Makes sense in my head.

Just my opinion.

I should really get the finger out and play the god of war games. Have them all on ps3 for years, just never got around to playing them.

No games for me today at least. I got a Raspberry pi 3 and I've been trying it out since 9am, I have no idea what I'm doing at all. Keeps 'crashing' in me.

It's been 6 hours now and I'm just about to give up. Might be my first regret buy for the year

After Dying Light, I just have no interest in Dead Island at all. Wasn't into it at the time on ps3 either. Isn't there a new Dead Island being made? Haven't heard anything since it was delayed ages ago.

Anyway, I'll prob pick this up when its a €1 for the retro game

Pass. I'll watch for a physical release then wait for it to drop to €10 or €15.

I got one last year when it went half price to €49.99 here. Plugged it in, updated it, played a few games on it, realised it was complete rubbish. Boxed it up, put away in a press.

Then read up online at the time, (as I was about to sell it) that people were working on hacking it and not to update it anymore for now. So I am holding onto it for the next few years in the hope that someone will hack it and get original ps2 games running on it from them overpriced memory cards or from a USB hdd or thumb stick on the future, which will happen at some point in the future I'm sure.

So I'm happy with my purchase

In fairness, I don't play online, at all. But I pay the subscription for my ps3/vita/4 to get the 'free games' each month. I am interested in Broforce, I did vote for it myself too (first time voting for a game).

But, I think I'm loosing interest in the monthly games as I mostly never even play them now. I think I'll let my subscription end and not renew anymore. I have so many ps3/vita/4 disc based games to get through to last me a lifetime right now, and I do pick up a lot of ps3 gems in 2nd hand stores over the past few years that these 'free games' are becoming redundant to me now.

Oh well, it was a neat idea at the time I guess!

Also, I have an xbone, I got a cheap 1 year subscription for it at Xmas, I hate it, why can't I find the 'games with gold' easily? It's a total chore to find them with search, there should be a tab or button on the main OS to get them easily, I hate the Xbox OS. There's another subscription I will not be renewing in the future.

I really hope Nintendo do not go down this route with the NX also.

I much prefer just buying my physical game, and having it on my shelf to see and play whenever, just have to make sure I update each game when I buy them cause who knows when there servers will be shy down , welcome to the future of gaming, sadly.

Only started Drakengard 1 last night, very new to this franchise. Have 2, on its way in the post, then when finished that I'll play Nier, and THEN I'll play Drakengard 3.so should be all up to date (western wise) for this when it drops, when ever that happens.

So far I like it, controls are a bit wonky, but yeah, I like it!

If it comes to the NX I'll get it

@rjejr I would love a system that could play Gamecube, Xbox Original, Sega Saturn, dreamcast, ps1/2, emulate PSP perfectly, not DS or 3ds cause that might involve a second screen of some kind, costly.

A disc based retro system please! Maybe in the next 20 years.

As for this game. Isn't it one of those gems people want for collection but can't find too easy in shops? I can't find it anywhere but I know it goes for about €6 in cex here.

As much as I love the idea of backwards compatability of ps2 on ps4, I want to play my discs not pay €15 to download them, but sure, anything to get Sony out of a hole lol. I'll stick with my ps2 slim thanks.
