I love fighting games,and i loved Legend of Aang,but I didn't like legend of Korra,from the story to the main characters( especially korra and her harem),but one thing the show did right was having cool looking villains and sick fight scenes,so it will fit right in a fighting game.

4/10,with Wolverine being the only saving grace.

Nothing from Marvel Tokon really soured my feelings.

Wolverine is the only X-men character that carries a solo comic run consistently,and is by far the most iconic X-men character. He ironically works far better without the other x-men.

Street Fighter is one of the most iconic video game franchise ever,it is the blue print for the whole 2D fighting game genre.

It deserves a good movie made by an actual fan,and not a goofy movie,that doesn’t take itself seriously,because it can't be sincere enough about the ip without making some sort of jabs and fun about it.

What grinds my gears is that some of this characters aren't even the right ethnicity or race,like Akuma,Dan,and Blanka.

@PuppetMaster The counters work like Blazblue Cross Tag counter was what I was getting at.

The 4 v 4,and the simple inputs are definitely something new compared to what dbfz and bbtag had.

This is just Dragonball figterZ(mechanics like auto combo system,ex moves,2H,e t.c)+Blazblue cross tag(alot of the defense mechanics are like BBCT,the tag system is also closer to BBCT than DBFZ, the universal overhead is like BBCT,while the unique skill button is like main line Blazblue drive button)+Strives wall break,with Marvel characters.

I will wait and see how it plays from the evo demo. I've lost faith in Arcsys after Strive,but if this is as good as Dragonball,I might bite.

I played about an hour of it on PC,and it felt like a knock off reboot god of war, with the gimmick being the forging mechanic.

Should have been Yamal and/or Dembele.

@PuppetMaster 100% this,plus alot of this cast aren't even the right race. What is a white man doing playing Dan Hibiki,and why is Roman playing a Japanese man in Akuma(At least they got Ryu and Chun-Li's race right).

Honestly the more i see the casting, the more I am afraid this is going to be a spoof movie,where they take Street fighter as a joke.

If thats the case, then even a short fan made film like Street Fighter:Legacy looks more respectable to the ip than this.

@nomither6 No offense,maybe it's because I am more around the fighting game community,but no,Blazblue Central Fiction is not a mid fighting game,it is seen as Arcsys best fighting game by many Blazblue fans and the fgc as a whole.

As a whole package,yeah it may be lacking,even compared to it's predecessors in terms of causal content,but when it comes to balance,gameplay,and character selection you would be hard press to find a fighting game that surpasses Blazblue Central Fiction.

I honestly don't mind Blazblue ip being dormant,if it means Arcsys dont try to do to Blazblue what they did to Guilty Gear with Strive,because at that point,they might as well create a new ip.

@nomither6 Central Fiction wasn't really luke warm,it is the best Blazblue game and arguably Arcsys best ever fighting game, gameplaywise. It's only fault is that it lacked some single player content that previous titles had, and an English dub,which is a fan favorite.

The main problem is that Mori,the brains behind Blazblue,left Arcsys,so I dont really trust Arcsys to do the ip right.

I was only able to play about 2 hrs of the first game before I had to drop it. The game looks beautiful,but the gameplay is literally just being a delivery man(It almost feels like a glorified fetch quest that people hate Ubisoft games for).

I had to watch playthrough instead so that I could at least experience the story,yet even then,the story was confusing and weird, which isn't a surprise seeing that it is a Kojima game, which means weird out of place humor that causes tonal whiplash in scenes,convoluted storyline, and weird characters.

Maybe this game did improve on the first with more engaging gameplay beyond a fetch quest,a more coherent and well structured stories,with more fleshed out characters,or people are ******* Kojima again like the first game.

Please be a new Blazblue game without it being like Guilty Gear strive.

Then again it sales weren't any worse than Persona 3 reload.

This game is way to spicy for the Nintendo kiddos.

If anything Persona 4 story aged wonderfully,and doesn't need fixing.

People who have problems with it are just exposing what kinda person they are.

Look,if they don't mess with the characters stories(i.e. Kanji,Naoto,and Yosuke),then I am 100% going to buy it,reason being because I love the cast of Persona 4,and with it having Persona 5 gameplay, it is a additional reason to get it.
I am also waiting to see how they change the Persona 4 dungeon.

That being said, the trailer doesn't really give much,so I understand why people are dissapionted,and it doesn't help that some people still feel swindled by p3 remakes dlc situation.

If people thought P3 was controversial, P4 is a whole new can of worms for the modern audience,lol . Hopefully they don't change anything about Yosuke,Naoto or Kanji.

Either way, I am happy this is happening, since this is my favorite cast of Persona members,since they actually feel like friends.

This should have been an animated movie. Either animated 2D with anime visual,or stylized 3D.

Damn,as a Paladins player since 2018,this is sad to see.

Unfortunately it's been a long time coming,barely Hi-rez is has been barely funding the devs of Paladins for years now,so the gane stopped growing and many bugs,server problems, and perfromance issues still presist.

Hi-rez is a horrible company, and has only cared about Smite, and the new hot game they cash in to follow the trend,then they let it die.

Paladins had been treated as the step-child,which is unfair,the game is about 9 years old now(ehich is great for a hero shooter ,since they usually die off quickly),and has a great gameplay.

I am still on cold steel 3, so I will get there eventually.

Somebody please take the anime it's away from Bandai.

The same thing happened to steller blade,just because the anti-sjw clung onto the game before the release,the other side started downplaying the game, by only fousing on its caviets, and other degrading claims. Making remarks like "This game is just porn", "I have not seen anything gameplay related of this,only porn" " this game is sexist, problematic, and for chuds,because the main character looks conveniently attractive and like a doll","Eve is a terrible attractive character,since she will never be deep like 2B and Bayonetta".

The same thing is happening to BMW.

Which is sad,because this two games both comes from indie company's as their first try into the AAA market,as they help to push the boundaries of gaming in their home country(South Korea and China). Which should be celebrated,instead of being put down constantly.

Both games aren't perfect,and they have flaws,but this are the indie studios first,so please don't let your hatered for the other side fuel how you feel about this games.

It has nothing to do with ones teenage years, so he isn't making sense here.

Don't get me wrong,I respect the decision to not have any romance in his story(because i do agree that it is not mandatory),but he would me more honest if he just said that the reason he didn't want any romance, is because he knows his fanbase would concentrate more on Waifu wars than the actual characters themselves and the plot,during online discourse.

He also probably knew everyone was going to pick the red head elf lady,so why bother? 😉

I just wish they dropped a public demo for us customers to play.
