How is streaming on the Portal? I stream from my PS5 to Steam Deck occasionally, but unless I'm in the same room, it's not great. Potentially would look into a portal if it's got better streaming capability than the Deck

@get2sammyb Saying this as someone who sucked at all the games like OG MW2 and played all the way till Ghosts. I think this was part of the fun and how I got better and yea sometimes it was frustrating when you'd get steamrolled by someone who is 10 prestige within the first 2 months of the game release, but I still say I had way more fun on any of those games over recent COD releases. I think that was just part of the fun, then when you finally get a lobby where you're doing good you felt unstoppable. With this news tho, I think the best part about it is that lobbies don't disband after every game. I think that's also part of what was so fun about older COD was when you kinda had grudge matches against the same players.

@awp69 Can't say for sure as I obviously have not played the game yet, but I'd assume you'd be fine to jump in here! Since it's set so far in the future from the first I can't imagine any characters or anything making an appearance, so maybe like some references you wouldn't pick up on. Other than that I'd say go for it!

Always kinda torn with this stuff. On one hand, it doesn't really give anyone an incentive to buy a PS console at this point because exclusives almost always end up dropping at least on PC. But on the other, I think it's great that other people that may not be able to afford more than one console or simply don't want to own more than one, can play some amazing games. Also, at the end of the day, what does it really matter where games release? If you prefer PS just keep buying PS consoles and playing there.

First game wasn't my cup of tea, but glad fans of the game seem to have a banger sequel waiting for them

Love the first game to death, but I just can't see how this won't hurt sales. It's a good game, but how many people are gonna fork over 80 bucks? Especially for people that are on the fence about picking it up in the first place. Glad I have gamepass on PC cause there's no shot I'm ever paying that much for a game.

@somnambulance Yea I'd say that's a pretty solid amount of time! I think I personally just land on the fence of doing it closer to release if possible, but see where you're coming from. I just picked up AC Shadows and wonder if I'll have to cram that in before Ghost of Yotei because you never know if it'll get hit with a surprise quick release lol

@somnambulance I get what you're saying in terms of how the release of GTA VI is holding up a lot of other devs from wanting to promote/release games around it, but I'd much prefer smaller marketing windows over showing trailers and then having to wait 3-5 years before even playing the game

The further we get into this console generation, the more pointless it is. You can play 90% of the games on a PS4 and in this case the game looks and runs great on that console. I'm sure there will be some small updates to the game, but overall it's a pointless remake. 4 years into this generation and not really a ton to show for it imo.

Could be fun, but I never get that hyped off of a cinematic trailer. Gonna wait for actual gameplay to see if it looks alright. Doubt I'd pay full price for AC at this point tho

@AhmadSumadi same! can't voice an opinion of any kind without without being immediately jumped by angry fans and just seeing the toxic side of people just gets really old when they have to constantly complain about every little thing they don't like.

@MatthewJP glad I'm not the only one disappointed by the final boss fight. It was very tedious to me and didn't have a satisfying conclusion.

I’m enjoying Omno as well, it’s a nice change of pace from a lot of games I’ve been playing lately. Probably will also get in some Apex and AC Valhalla

The biggest bummer for me is that E3 always felt like a big deal and it was always when new stuff was gonna be revealed, and we could get hyped looking forward to a big once a year event. Now with companies doing things like State of Play, imo, it just feels less special. It shouldn't cause we're still getting the same announcements we would at E3, but just not as much spectacle around it.

Resident Evil 7 and Returnal for sure. Probably some Arenas in Apex as well.

@Daleaf I feel this lol I took a few coding classes as well. Nothing more frustrating then not being able to figure out why something won't work and maybe spending hours trying to figure out why, only to find out it was cause you forgot to close the tag or put a semicolon after something smh

At this point all I want to know is whether I will get it on launch date or not. I got that email from Amazon saying it might be after launch when I receive it. Hoping they just sent those emails out to save their @$$ just in case something happens.

The main thing I'm worried about is if my save file from AC Odyssey will be carried over from PS4 to PS5. I'm about 24 hours in and really don't wanna have to restart on PS5, although I suppose I could just finish on PS4, but would love to be able to finish on PS5.

@andreoni79 You make a great point there. Probably just the cynical part of me is what's telling me I could end up being disappointed.

After all of these delays, I'm preparing myself for this game to be a complete let down. Last game I remember being super hyped for after several delays was Last of Us 2. I didn't hate the game, but was pretty disappointed. Hopefully I'm wrong here, but I'm losing hope in this game.

I usually try not to complain about the PS Plus games, but damn this is a bad month.

Disappointed for sure, but on the bright side, now I have more time to clear out the backlog

I think it'd be awesome if it was fully backward compatible, but I don't care either way. It's definitely fun to go back and play old games sometimes, but for me I know I wouldn't use it that often for playing them and would pretty much only play the new stuff that comes out. Totally can see why many people want it though.

A question I've had recently is whether PS4 accessories will work with PS5 or has that been answered already? Been wanting to get a pair of Playstation Golds for a while, but want to make sure they'll work with PS5 before I spend the money.
