I will get it, but the pile of shame is huge. So paying full price for a game to go unplayed for 6 months.. Or longer is silly.
Day 1 is saved for my God tier games now.

Probably won't go for the platinums.
If going for a trophy takes the enjoyment out of the game, I don't tend to bother.

How long are the games?
I've gotten into JRPG style games recently but the backlog is massive, and adding games that mega long doesn't help...and tbf won't stop me adding to the pile.

Not firmware or rumble related but has anyone's sticks split? I've had mine since launch and the left stick's rubber split last week. Sony seems to think its just damage so not covered by the warranty, and amazon time has passed.
Needless to say my reply to that was not in agreement. I've replaced it myself but when replacing both, it caused drift on the right. So now have one old and one new stick.

I don't mind it. If the game is good and not stupidly short. Then I think it's worth paying for.

If I'm not sure about a game I'll either wait for the reviews or a price drop. Not getting a game on day 1 isn't the end of the world and if you think it is, then Jesus I wish I had your life.

At they end of the day they're a business out to make profit. Not appease gamer man babies. Can't afford it? Buy fewer funko pops

@ThomasHL The ps5 is just a graphical etc upgrade. If you want that and to play the Yufi dlc then you'll have to buy the PS4 version to get the upgrade AND pay extra for the Yufi dlc. Probably not worth it if all you want to do is play it once.

You won't appreciate the whole prequel vibe to it and Goro's story build up.

Good, but found it dragged a bit. I did like how you start hating Abby and (for me anyway) end up rooting for and feeling a bit sorry for her too.
Haven't played GoT yet. It's on the pile.

I'll just keep my games on the Internal SSD and see how it goes. I don't need to keep everything downloaded, as I only play 1 game at a time. I don't flit between them. 👍

So.. If I have a ps4 game saved on the PS5's SSD. Will it load faster than if it was saved on an external HDD? (I appreciate it won't be instant)
Nicer framer rates /textures are great but I'd rather Kingdoms of Amalur loaded quicker.

It's a box. It'll end up in the attic by the end of the day. Who cares.

I'd rather not see what the interface looks like. It'll takeaway from the fun of launch day. It won't be as exciting if I see everything on line before I even open the box.
