I have GP, but also chose to purchase on PS5 as extra sales. Dev deserves ALL the support for reviving a 15 year gap for this style of game and turn based. It's been sorely lacking since the 360 era

Whilst yes, it can be played as single player, seems the entire purpose is engineered for multiplayer - just no real interest to me!

I'd argue console is always the "best" place to play games anyway. Lot to be said for the ease of them compared to "PC" which wildly varies

@RoomWithaMoose metacritic reviews for critics are out of 100 and when you give a perfect score and you are a critic, that's EXACTLY the reasoning I previously mentioned. There is nothing juvenile here other than you getting upset due to my opinion whilst saying critics opinions are all valid, the irony and hypocrisy is astounding...

The discussion was based around that and that's exactly the message given by those scores. There's not even a debate here and I won't continue to respond to someone who is just declining facts.

@RoomWithaMoose In retort I can't stress enough how much the reviews are a lot of the time not valid and are very contradictory within themselves.

Giving games 100/100 and then following on to note all the clear flaws with a game is simply NOT genuine and just one critic doing this impacts the overall score tremendously. When you realise it's not just the odd 1 doing this, you start to realise it's true that the critic scores simply cannot be trusted.

Again, I won't change my mind on something that's quite evidently factual and obvious. The user scores aren't perfect, but when nothing is perfect you can only rely on yourself and without that, a majority.

@Shepherd_Tallon when Avowed was announced I was a 10/10 interested, but over the years showed the Dev and the eventual release it went from that to a 0/10 after playing it. Probably one of my biggest disappointments in gaming hype

I still think GoT is hugely overrated and a bit boring, but the comparative of AC has REALLY been quite the eye opener

Do we know if this is the only expansion planned? I played it though on Xbox, but want to play the 'full' game again on PS!

I tried monster hunter world and found it boring, bought this and killed the first frog thing... Found it boring and a slog, chasing it down and repeating the same attacks... Am I missing something about what makes this game so highly rated? Genuinely

It's definitely the most overrated from soft game for sure, but I wouldn't mind replaying a remaster or a sequel!

They have kept the core aspect of what an RPG like this should keep anyway, which is the turn based combat. I can adjust to other changes, unlike with Final Fantasy...

At the end of the day it doesn't really matter how well this game runs, I for one won't be playing it... Far too many controversies around the game to enjoy it now

@Neither_scene you'll never get double the performance for double the price. In terms of diminishing returns, the PS5 pro is likely the best value on the market in terms of an upgrade. Looking at PC gaming you're looking at over double the costs for less of a jump in performance in terms of upgrading your "potato"

@StylesT the PS6 will see an even smaller gap... Unless we're paying over 1k for the console! Let's see what Sony plan

It was downhill from there, budget, legacy and name keeping FF afloat right now, question is only how long will it last

@FEWGEE1 I'm sticking with my 2029/2030 PS6 release estimate. Highly doubt before then unless Sony sells an even more diminishing returns version of a PS6 than the PS5 Pro was compared to the big standard PS5

@lazarus11 Stutter exists on the Pro in Kuttenberg, it's to do with the hero perk apparently. Hoping the patch fixes it...

Literally not interested in action... Was a gimmick with the likes of Legend of Dragoon and Shadow Hearts, I don't mind it but would much prefer it without the gimmick...
