The biggest issue I feel for the negativity is the current owners of PS5 feel they haven't got the value out of it and another console is already coming out which will out date their purchase, thing is tech moves forward and it will have been 4 years... Times move on, I didn't buy a PS5 yet so I'm looking forward to the Pro!

@CutchuSlow they are additions to what you can already get in game, to my knowledge none of the paid for items or currency are exclusively paid only

There will always be times where you have to bite the tech advancement bullet

In my eyes no surprise at all, I would estimate the decline would hit around now, due to the fundamental change of battle system to a hack and slash...

I find the change so incredibly jarring as a long time fan of the FF games to be too much that I have given up with the franchise, I imagine many more gamers also will, in time

I feel that due to the apparent change in direction FF days are unfortunately numbered now it's become a rather generic action game

@ATaco unfortunately these developers have some disease where they have to turn all their franchises into DMC. They don't realise the sales are actions of previous legacy and natural growth, so dumb, we won't be able to have anything nice in a few years

Eh... Just buy a series X no big deal. I don't understand why some gamers HAVE to stick to a certain console brand, these companies will all take your money the same way and literally couldn't care less about you, they care about the money and have zero loyalty so your loyalty is mis-founded and one directional

Sony need to step up their game, with the Bethesda games seemingly being console exclusive to Xbox I will need a serious reason to buy and use a PS5

Thought the demo was OK, bit too dramatic (fire and explosions) and easy (remember facing 3 snappers, you would die to just 1 until you got better gear in the original!)

Prefer it to the retail product, but probably in the minority (or not part of the agree with everything Sony do bunch!)
